  I want to be tough. I want to be hard bitten and indict crazy Tom Cruise for making Katie a war bride. But Suri's sweet anime face of happiness slays me. Get Madonna! She needs to write a new series of children's books starring Suri. If we can get that German dog to costar, so much the better. Also Katie's shoes and hair and outfit look effortlessly chic. There. I said it. Excuse me now. I have to go do vodka shots and eat sour gummy worms in hopes of getting my game back.   First, Holy Cow! What is Katie Holmes smuggling in those pants? Seriously, she could fit Suri in there. I haven't seen plaid maxi-pants like that since my mom wore them in the seventies! And her hair was cut the same way as Katie's here.  I guess the seventies are going to be really in now. Fashion terror alert level: Unflattering Shag.   Check out Laura Innes and her cute little girl Mia. Laura clearly has the patience of a saint and a good memory of being six. Every girl that age wants long princess hair. Every mother of a girl that age wants that dirty, matted up mess chopped off into an elegant little bob, or better yet, a wash and go Dorothy Hamill (hey, back in the 70s that's what they called it!) Many tears have been spilled in the salon chair over the surprise pixie cut, but not by Laura's girl. You know what this means. Mia will shave her head in the seventh grade at her first sleepover. Kids, they just don't appreciate anything.
