It's
a tale as old as time. The Black Crowes are threatening to sue country
music star Gretchen Wilson for copyright infringment, claiming the song
Work Harder Play Harder sounds an awful lot like their song Jealous
Again. Turner Network Television has also been brought into the affair
because the Gretchen Wilson song is being used for one of their
television shows, Saving Grace.
"We find the
musical verses of Wilson's song to be such an obvious example of
copyright infringement that I expect all parties to reach a relatively
quick resolution to avoid litigation," says Black Crowes manager Pete Angelus.
