the lone dad on our happy team of parent gossip bloggers, told me that
I couldn't make fun of Patrick Dempsey in this car. What did he say,
exactly? "You can't make fun of a beautiful car like that, people will think we're uncivilized. I think it's a Jag, and it's awesome."
I was all, like, "dude, you're totally being a middle-aged dad about this. He looks silly." Then I checked with my husband, who was all, "who's Patrick Dempsey?" and "oh, that's a nice Bugatti." Which, you know, is to be expected. He's a middle-aged dad, too. (He did, I should note, say that it could be made fun of, but only if John Travolta were driving it. Point taken.)
