• Reality TV Stars Are Breeding

  Ryan and Trista Sutter, of "The Bachelorette" fame (*cough*), are the proud parents of Maxwell Alston Sutter, born 7 weeks ago and introduced this week on the pages of Us Weekly. • Sutters Birth Spin-off

  Trista Sutter gave birth to a boy, Maxwell Alston Sutter, on Thursday. Us Weekly, reports that Ryan and Trista are well and happy.   The Sutters, that met on ABC's The Bachelorette, did not find out the gender of the baby prior to his birth.  Said Trista, "I'm a huge planner, but even more so I'm a fan of surprises, so my love of surprises outweighed it. For the first one for us, we just want a healthy baby." They got it. We didn't find out the gender for either of our children, and it was awesome.  There are only so many good surprises left in the world, and nothing beats that one. • Trista Sutter is Married to a Paragon

  Trista's due in August, and I for one can't wait to see what the producers of The Bachelor send as a gift. She and Ryan are the only reason they can still get that show back on the air every season. The Sutters are such an unlikely pair, only reality tv could have put them together. She's a sweet but sort of shallow "purse designer" and he's the most outdoorsy and community-minded fireman ever. While Trista is busy with her baby shower, Ryan's wearing a pink fire helmet along with Captain Cooter Overcash (yes...you read that name right) to raise breast cancer awareness, and biking for the Vail Prostate Cancer Foundation. He's even the national spokesperson for the Michelin Tire's "Driving America's Safety Program" that supports first responders, like EMT guys. He's always going after a new athletic accomplishment, like doing the Ironman triathlon in Hawaii or a mountain climbing expedition in Argentina. And then there are the poems. I'm positive he does dishes, laundry and footrubs and is an organ donor. Does anyone know why he was on that show? On second thought, maybe Trista is a genius.
