Texas Rangers first baseman/catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia's wife Ashley is having some difficulty with the couple's second pregnancy. The Rangers want Jarrod to play winter ball, but Salty has decided to stay by his wife's side instead.
That's all fine and dandy. He's doing the right thing and best of luck to them. Here's something weird though, his wife was a teacher at his high school while he was a student there. I know it doesn't mean much in the big picture, he was never in her class, but still, what's that all about?
