I
like baseball, and I like going to baseball games. The players though,
not so much. The only dealings I've ever had with baseball players,
besides watching them be bad tippers , is a major league farm team in a
college town. We called them BMW's (baseball man whores) and I was
never really impressed.
It's so nice to see someone doing
something to make a difference, for not only their family, but to help
others in the same boat as themselves. They're not doing it just
because their sport has a contract to help a certain group.
There are some that go beyond what they have to do, and do what they want to do.
