Jenny McCarthy To Get Her Own Talk Show?

According to the rumor mill, 1993 Playmate of the Year turned anti-vaccination activist Jenny McCarthy may get her own daytime talk show, produced by none other than the Oprah herself.

McCarthy -- who recently punk'd all of her friends and family into believing that she and Jim Carrey were engaged to be wed -- is set to join Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray as part of Oprah's media empire. Jenny's apparently inked a deal with Harpo to "develop projects on different platforms, including a syndicated talk show that the actress/author would host."

What will McCarthy talk about? It sounds like the show will be pretty much the same as any daytime talk show, except with a really smoking hot host.

Thankfully, that should mean that the topic changes from day to day. Maybe I'm a jerk for saying this, but as sad as her 7-year-old son Evan's illness is, I don't know if I can stand to listen to her talk about the link between autism and vaccines any longer.

Congratulations on being one of Oprah's chosen few, Jenny!

Denis Leary to Jenny McCarthy: Bring It

Looks like the feud between Denis Leary and Jenny McCarthy isn't quite over yet. As you may remember, McCarthy called Leary "obviously stupid" for making jokes about autism in his book Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid. Well it appears Leary may have feelings after all, and is swinging his little arms back at McCarthy.

"I can guarantee you that Jenny McCarthy did not read the book and at this point I refuse to continue to be the punching bag for autism because I’m not even going to stand here on my own defense. I don’t think it’s number four on the New York best sellers because people want to laugh at somebody who is making fun of autistic kids."

"My motivation, which I’ve said a million times, for writing the chapter was because I have friends who have autistic children and I think it’s ridiculous that there’s people out there who are bad parents and are trying to solve the bad behavior of their spoiled brat children by getting a low-level diagnosis. It’s true, if people don’t want to believe it that’s fine, but that’s what I was writing about."

Leary's book was quoted as saying people diagnosed with autism are “stupid. Or lazy. Or both.” McCarthy, who has said that her six-year-old son Evan was recently cured of autism, shot back, "First of all, let me tell you, the autism community has received probably 10,000 emails [saying] ‘Go kill him!’ ‘Go yell at him. [But] it’s so hard to even get up enough juice in me or energy in me to even try to fight someone that is obviously stupid.”

Leary may learn the hard way that hell hath no fury like an ex-Playmate mom protecting her child against the barbs of a B-list actor. Time to get up your juice and take out that can of whoop-ass, Jenny.

Actors Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey know how to keep the "sizzle" in their romance! Although the couple have no plans to marry, they are absolutely committed to one another and like to keep things exciting. So, how do these two keep it fresh and fun?

A friend says that Jenny and Jim like to hang out together in the buff! Luckily, their lifestyle affords them the freedom to take romantic holidays without kids - all parents need a break from time to time.

During a recent trip to Hawaii, the lovebirds spent $25,000 on a rented beachfront villa - it was very private, allowing them to have some "couple" time.

The pal said, "Of course they are dressed in public. But when they're alone, they prefer to be nude much of the time!"

It's cool that these two keep their relationship a priority - it makes for better parenting. Happy parents, happy kids!

Jenny and Jim have been together for three years, and Jim has taken to Jenny's son Evan, 6, who is autistic.

Carrey said Evan has taught him to love deeper.

"I'm a guy who's used to getting people's attention when I want it, and I'm pretty good with kids, so it was a bit difficult and hard not to take it personally when I tried my best to play with him. He was focused on something else, and I could have been on fire in the room, and he wouldn't have noticed me."

But, over time, Jim and Evan bonded and now they're inseperable. Jim is also dad to daughter Jane, 21.

Sounds like they're a tight-knit family.

In the current issue of US Weekly, Jenny McCarthy talks about helping her son Evan recover from autism, which she says was caused by the MMR vaccine. "Before the vaccination, he was huggy, lovey, snuggly," she says. "Then it was like someone came down and stole him."

McCarthy believes that a strict no wheat-and-dairy-free diet is what cured her son. She recounts the moment she first saw him coming out of his shell, while he was watching an episode of SpongeBob. "I heard Evan laugh...I jumped on the bed and started screaming. When he finally hugged me, I prayed, 'Please God don't let this be the only time.'"

The actress, who is dating Jim Carrey, has long been an outspoken advocate for autism awareness. But she's not without her detractors; She has been criticized by the American Academy of Pediatrics for her 'autism cure' claims and doctors have accused her of causing fear of necessary vaccines.

Of course, after seeing this issue of US Weekly, I think the one question on everyone's lips will be: Why the hell did Jen take John back?

Jim Carrey Says Jenny McCarthy's Son Taught Him a Deeper Love

Jim Carrey recently spoke about learning to deal with Jenny McCarthy's autistic son. Carrey talked to Oprah Winfrey about Evan Joseph, 6. The challenges of dealing with an autistic child are myriad, especially when that child is the son of your girlfriend.

When Jim and Jenny first started dating in 2006, Evan was totally non-verbal, refusing any eye contact. "I'm a guy who's used to getting people's attention when I want it," Jim said, "and I'm pretty good with kids, so it was a bit difficult and hard not to take it personally when I tried my best to play with him. He was focused on something else, and I could have been on fire in the room, and he wouldn't have noticed me."

Jim kept at it, though, and says that autistic kids "show us how to go somewhere deeper as far as loving." Now, Evan and Jim are very close. "It's like Star Wars impressions back and forth all day long."

Jenny McCarthy has a new book out about her experiences with autism called "Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds."

She says, "I know why God gave me Evan. He is a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to the world. It made me who I am today."

Although Jenny, 35, and Jim are close and she's even referred to him as 'the Austism Whisperer' (her son is autistic), they will probably never marry. The 46-year-old actor told Britain's Daily Star, "There won't be any marriage. I think getting married is great and everyone should do it. But once you've done it twice you should stop doing it."

Michael Savage: You've been served. Jenny McCarthy is calling the shock jock out for his inflammatory remarks on autism.

“I’ll tell you what autism is — it’s a brat that hasn’t been told to cut the act out,” Savage said two weeks ago. McCarthy, whose son Evan is autistic, was infuriated by Savage's words and is speaking out now.

“You know, I immediately get the news the second anything happens. I read it and had to sit down and kind of breathe a little bit,” McCarthy said. “The media drove me crazy that day wanting comments and I didn’t want to give any more attention to that jerk.

“It’s really about showboating ignorance really,” she said. “I kind of took the high road and kept talking about healing, prevention."

In fact, McCarthy invited Savage to a smackdown to teach him a lesson. “And if he would like, (he can) join me in the ring sometime on the WWE. I’ll show you what I really think." McCarthy was referring to her appearance last night with John Cena on Saturday Night's Main Event, in which she teamed up with the WWE to raise awareness of autism.

I don't think Savage had the balls to show up, but he's taken some blows in other ways: advertisers pulled ads from his popular radio show and there have been demands for his termination.

Who says it ain't easy bein' green? Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy flexed their political muscles today as they marched on Washington in support of Green Our Vaccines, an organization that seeks to raise awareness about toxins in childhood vaccines.

Carrey led 8,500 people through the streets of Washington, D.C., Wednesday, along with his daughter Jane and McCarthy and her son Evan. Of Evan, Carrey said, "He taught me how to love. And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit."

Carrey was equally gushing about girlfriend McCarthy when he spoke to the families, lawmakers and other activists that had gathered for the rally, saying that she was "the source of all that is good" in his life.

Wow - political activism and public declarations of love all in the same day. Celebrities really are more productive than the rest of us. I only managed to shower and go to Starbucks today.

Jenny McCarthy Says Vaccines Cause Autism

Jenny McCarthy was interviewed by an NBC affiliate on Monday, and the actress/ex-Playboy Playmate/Jim Carrey's girlfriend was outspoken in her opinion that childhood vaccines cause autism. McCarthy, whose son Evan, 5, was diagnosed at the age of two, says she isn't necessarily anti-vaccine, but anti toxin. "Take the crap out. Get rid of the ether, the antifreeze, the mercury, the aluminum," she said. "They're just cheap preservatives. I'd pay four times as much for a clean vaccine!"

Although Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have said ingredients in vaccines have never been proven to cause autism, McCarthy argues that they contain neurotoxins that, along with many other ingredients actually "trigger" autism in susceptible children.

Expect punches to be thrown (figuratively, I hope) on both sides of this issue. I don't have any first-hand knowledge of autism and I've always been pro-vaccine, but the possibility that antifreeze may have been an ingredient? Slightly alarming.

Jenny McCarthy, whom I've seen naked, and her son Evan were seen catching a flight at LAX. Evan, who is autistic, was the inspiration for McCarthy writing a book on the subject.

This doesn't bode well for her Scientologist friends that were trying to bring her into the fold. They like to pretend autism doesn't exist. Besides, Jenny has her own crazy.
