Who Does Amy Poehler's Baby Look Like?

Amy Poehler and husband Will Arnett welcomed their son Archie on October 25 - so who does the little guy look like? Mom or dad? Amy's SNL co-star Will Forte can give us a hint!

Forte said of the six-week-old infant, he "is a beautiful baby." He says he's not sure who Archie looks more like, but added, "he has his own look.

"He's a really cool little kid, the cutest."

Amy said after her son was born she'd be leaving Saturday Night Live and her Weekend Update desk. Forte compared her departure like a "sister leaving to go to college. She won't be in the house anymore.

"It's like a family over there, so it's really tough to see someone go, especially somebody who meant so much to the show, but she's still in our lives!"

Amy said her final goodbye this past Saturday during Weekend Update. However, Poehler will be a working mom - she's signed on for NBC's upcoming Office spin-off which will debut in 2009.

I'm guessing SNL star Amy Poehler won't be making it to Weekend Update tonight, since she's doing her own weekend update - the 37-year-old has just given birth to her first child!

Updated with details and baby's name!

According to TMZ sources, Amy has been in labor all day, but she and husband Will Arnett are now the proud parents to a son!

Amy's TV partner, Seth Myers will do Weekend Update by himself, but I'm sure he can handle it.

No other details of the birth are available yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Congrats! And although we're happy for Amy, the birth of her baby, means no more SNL (waaaa!) but last weekend she was hilarious, heavily pregnant doing her rap routine on Weekend Update, with Sarah Palin at the desk too. Check it out HERE!

*Updated* Amy and Will have named their son Archie Arnett, who was born in New York and he weighed 8 lbs., 1 oz. Their rep Lewis Kay said, "Amy, Will and Archie ar all healthy and resting comfortably."

Funny man Will Arnett has been kicking around baby names with wife Amy Poehler. The couple are expecting next month.

"I want to call our baby Midnight or 411," Arnett said, "I really like information, and being a night owl. It's a good fit."

Wow, I had a cat named Midnight for 14 years. I think it'd be a fitting tribute. She got lost when my family moved back from New Mexico to New York, though. Maybe it wouldn't be a good name, after all. I kinda get weepy whenever I think of Midnight. If I started tearing up every time I saw Amy Poehler's baby, that would be rough. I'm sure she's going to be a big part of the Famecrawler family in years to come.

Speaking of Poehler, she says the couple is bound for Los Angeles pretty soon. "I'll miss living in NYC," she said, "but I won't miss working in midtown during the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting."

Amy Poehler, 37, is perhaps the only funny piece left on Saturday Night Live and she's been nominated for an Emmy because of it. Now she's leaving after the November election to have her baby and start on a new prime-time comedy series. She sat down with USA Today recently and talked about her pregnancy.

Q: So, how's the pregnancy going?
A: Oh, my God, I'm crying at everything lately. I'm watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and I was crying so hard. There's no shame in that. I'm crying at everything. The wind will blow a branch and I'm like, aw, nature.

Q: You look great.
A: You have no idea. I ate two waffles, a banana and cereal with blueberries. And that was between my two breakfasts.

Q: Will the pregnancy be written into some sketches?
A: Being pregnant and doing comedy is like wearing a giant sombrero in every scene. Everyone is just trying to pretend it's not there. It can be limiting. It gets boring. (So her belly will be hidden as much as possible.)

Q: You're shooting the new show in L.A. and it's not a spinoff ofThe Office, right?
A: The show is going to start shooting in February. We'll shoot six or seven episodes. It's the same style and from the same creators as The Office. It's going to be that similar style, another small-town setting. I'm excited about it.

Q: Any dreams for the baby?
A: I don't care if it's a girl or a boy, I want it to marry Alice Richmond, Tina (Fey)'s daughter. We'd make a lovely mother and mother-in-law of the bride.

Amy Poehler, who is major league preggers, says she'll be leaving Saturday Night Live after the November election to give birth to her first child. Poehler, 37, just did one of the most popular skits ever on Saturday, playing Hillary Clinton next to Tina Fey's Sarah Palin.

"It's gonna be really hard - Boys II Men hard - to say goodbye to yesterday," Amy says in the latest issue of Men's Vogue. "SNL was dangerous, late-night, last-minute and star-studded, but like any good drug, you need to know when to put it down."

Oh, my dear, sweet Amy. SNL hasn't been a good drug in a really, really long time. Still, you were one of the only good parts left.

And lest you think that Amy is coming back after maternity leave, forget it. She'll be gone for good. In fact, the producers of "The Office" are getting her ready for her own NBC series. She'll also continue doing voicework for her animated kids' show "The Mighty B!"

It's a sad, sad day for Saturday nights.

Funny girl Amy Poehler of Saturday Night Live was out for dinner with husband Will Arnett in New York City the other night. Poehler, 36, is big time preggo and due next month. In the meantime, if you're looking for Amy, her latest movie - Hamlet 2 - is out in theaters (and gets a 61% freshness rating over at Rotten Tomatoes). SNL's season premiere, with Michael Phelps as host, starts September 13th on NBC.
