Anthony Kiedis Says Son Is 'Best Roommate I Ever Had'

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes parents luck out and have a kid who loves to sleep quietly all night and party all day on the beach. Anothy Kiedis is apparently one such parent.

"[Everly] is the best roommate I ever had," says Kiedis. "He's just a good hang. He's funny. He doesn't cost a lot to keep up. He's a good dancer." And he sleeps "for 11 hours straight" every night, the rocker reveals.

Check that out, Kiedis is totally a proud papa. He can't hardly shut up about what an awesome kid Everly is!

Kiedis may not party like he used to, but something tells me that his lifestyle fits pretty well with a kid who sleeps 11 hours straight. There's a lot more time for staying up late and jamming with the boys. He also talked a bit about how Everly has helped reset his priorities:

"You can't really care about yourself as much as you used to. It kind of takes the focus off yourself, which for me is a good thing," he says. "It also gives me a cool guy to hang out with."

Kiedis talked about his 18-month-old son and his totally easy going demeanor at the grand opening of the Malibu Lumber Yard, which he was attending with his girlfriend Heather Christie. As you might have guessed, MLY isn't a lumber yard at all, but an upscale shopping center.

I was kinda hoping that Kiedis was actually hanging out at a lumber yard, because how cool would that be?

Jeri Ryan of "Star Trek" and "Boston Public" fame was among the celebrity parents at the ~~Borg~~ Boom Boom Room in Century City, CA this past weekend.

Ryan has two children, a 14-year-old son named Alex and a 10-month-old daughter named Gisele Émé.

The Boom Boom Room is "Hollywood’s most famous families - expecting parents, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and their offspring - visit a gifting suite wonderland built by 83 sponsors. This event draws celebrity families together to support Los Angeles area Foster Children and the Jayneoni Moore Children’s Fund."

If the Boom Boom Room was a golf course then Joely Fisher would have been in my foursome. It seemed like the two of us, our children, Heather Christie, and Kenny Johnson (with his lovely, pregnant wife), were always in the same area. That's a big foursome.

Joely Fisher was great. She posed for pictures with the vendors and made small-talk with my boys. It's like she didn't even care that I was famous, which was really refreshing.

Anthony Kiedis Goes Solo

Looks like things are no longer red hot for Anthony Kiedis. The Chili Pepper frontman and his baby mama girlfriend Heather Christie are no longer together.

According to People:

The Red Hot Chili Peppers singer, 45, and Christie, 22, a former model, recently ended their relationship of more than three years and have been living apart since June, according to sources.

How is anyone a former anything at the age of twenty-two?

It sounds like Kiedis is the guilty party in ending the relationship as Christie says, "Anthony is a great dad and I will love him forever for giving me the gift of life. I really hope he finds what he's looking for."

I'm guessing what he's looking for will find him.

Remember the other day when I was talking about Anthony Kiedis and Everly Bear and Eeyoree and Piglet? Actually, I was talking to my kids about Eeyore and Piglet, but here is a great picture of the Kiedis boys and evidence of why Anthony is ready for another baby. It's good stuff. Especially the socks (Trumpette, 7 pair for $24- wow, something I can afford).

Red Hot Chili Pepper frontman Anthony Kiedis is spending his time as a new father the way we all did, by surfing for hours each day. Oh, wait. He's not talking about online porn but actual surfing. Never mind. FYI, I don't really look at porn all day, that was a joke. I only look at it for about 10 minutes.

Kiedis claims that his being in the ocean has a direct effect on his parenting skills. This is a test that I'll have to trust him on since I actually have to spend my days working and not ripping curls or whatever the kids are calling it these days.

His son Everly Bear is apparently the best baby ever and Anthony seems to really enjoy fatherhood.

He also suggests that he and his girlfriend, baby-mama Heather Christie are ready to add to the family, "I'd definitely like to give him a sibling in the not-too-distant future, something close in age."

Anthony Kiedis is in full 'dad mode' at the Christmas tree lot with his girlfriend Heather and their baby boy Everly Bear. How L.A. is this picture? You've got your shorts in December, the Crocs, the Uggs, the skullcap- because it's winter, and a cellphone appendage. Ah, Christmas in SoCal.

So, what's up with that bump in Athony's shirt were his abs used to be? It must be a dad thing because one showed up in my shirt not to long ago, right where I was going to put my abs some day.

The Red Hot Chili Pepper's frontman, Anthony Kiedis and his model girlfriend Heather Christie welcomed a new addition to the band this morning. The baby boy is the first child for either of them.

UPDATED: Thanks to FameCrawler readers we have news that his name is Everly B. There appears to be some discussion as to whether B is the actual name or if it stands for Bear. Either way, cute name.

It won't be long before we have a little Red Hot Chili Pepper to talk about. Heather is due in October.

I really hope that the paparazzi were decent enough to use zoom lenses and give the couple some space. It's a special time, the last few weeks of a pregnancy, and a couple needs to whisper things to each other without Joey from the Morning Star saying, "aww" ever five minutes. Feel free to say "aww" at home though, they can't hear you now.

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis was seen leaving Malibu's trendy Nobu with his expecting girlfriend, 21-year-old Heather "Nika" Christie.

I just realized that the first Chili Pepper's album came out when I was 13-years-old. That was 23 years ago. I was in the 8th grade. Hell, Nika wasn't even born yet.

Do you think rock stars ever feel old, or does a lifetime of partying and insanely young women keep them young at heart? Sounds like a better deal than Ponce de León got.

Red Hot Chili Pepper, Anthony Kiedes, and his girlfriend, Heather Christie, are expecting their first child.

I wrote this sentence, using 6 Chili Pepper album titles and thought I was really clever, until I reread it and realized it isn't as clever as I thought. Still, it's all I've got, and what I've got I've got to give it away. Now: I'm guessing that the two got freaky styley, which was the uplift mofo party plan. One hot minute of blood, sugar, sex, magik, aka, californication, and tada, mother's milk.

You know, I think Anthony and Heather deserve better than this. Next one is on me.
