I know, that headline was all kinds of clever.

Will Smith and the Smithettes (Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow and Macy Gray) are a holiday tradition in New York City. Their high kicks and red carpeting is a must see for kids of all ages!

Whether or not the premiere of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" warrants such attention remains to be seen.

Willow Smith is in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, and brought the family to the premiere for some fun and support. With her is her brother Jaden who starred with their dad Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness.

A recent post about Will Smith had a lot (okay, a couple) of people asking about older brother Trey. He was the one that was in the video for "Just the Two of Us." Well, you're in luck, he's here too (along with Will and Jada)!

K-Fed and the Family Party While Brit Burns - Now With Pictures!

So while Mama Britney was crashing and burning her way through the VMA's last Sunday, K-Daddy, as we know, was throwing a birthday bash for little Jayden James and Sean Preston.

A few more things of note about this party:

1) There was a break in the festivities to watch Brit's performance, which was mercifully (?) cut short when Sarah Silverman started cracking mean jokes about the Spears-Federline children. How many kinds of bizarre is it to say that it might have been a good thing that Brit's parents, kids and ex-husband witnessed Sarah Silverman making those jokes? What's worse, really, for the children - hearing some B-list comic make sick jokes about them being mistakes shot forth from mommy's pouchy hairless hoo-ha, or watching Mommy stumble onstage in her spangled bikini and fishnets, looking vacant and grabbing crotches? Discuss amongst yourselves.

2) Shar Jackson was there, too. With the half-siblings, of course, but still. Ouch.

3) The birthday boys partied in their diapers. It's not quite underwear, but it's a notch above what Mommy usually wears.

Is it just me, or does it add insult to massive injury that Britney's parents were hanging out with the man who is trying to take her children away, and that man's ex-baby-mama, eating cake and watching people make fun of her? Sure, to everyone's credit, they turned the TV off, but still - that means that they were all just hanging out together, having sweets and snacks, and feeling sorry for her.

I didn't think that I could feel sorrier for Britney than I already did - though I've bracing myself for the news that her kids will be taken away - but that image, of her parents and her ex and her ex's ex, all hanging out, bouncing her half-naked babies on their laps and tut-tutting her tragic existence, that image kind of pushed me over into full-on sympathy.

Poor bitch. Life's going rough.

Andre Agassi, Steffi Graff and the Good (Luck) Life

The US Open is underway in NYC, and tennis stories are popping up. Parade Magazine, the original "respectable" gossip rag, featured retired tennis star Andre Agassi this week. Andre used to be considered a real bad boy. Long hair, crazy clothes, he dated Barbra Streisand and was married to Brooke Shields. Definitely a burn the candle at both ends kind of guy. At one point it seemed like he had gone too far and was in danger of flaring out. To the surprise of many people he regrouped and created a classic second act for himself, including a second marriage to fellow tennis star Steffi Graf.

In the Parade article Andre is very gracious and admits he's been lucky. He is also quick to acknowledge Steffi and her influence. But the thing that comes across most strongly is how hard this man works at everything he does. I wish some of the sloppy, lazy, self-entitled stars today would take a few notes from Andre.

Andre and Steffi have two beautiful children, son Jaden, 5 and daughter Jaz who is 3. They seem like a thoughtful, hardworking and industrious couple, and very involved parents. They are enjoying a lot of success, and for once it's easy to be happy for a famous couple. They deserve everything the have.

Will Smith and the Boy Wonder

Will Smith and his son Jaden made quite the pair in their latest film, The Pursuit of Happyness. Will credits his son for making him a better actor, a position many attributed to DJ Jazzy Jeff.

It seems that while Will was busy trying to act by the book, Jaden was throwing the book out the window. Dad Smith says he found himself just watching his son and realizing that the ability to act wasn't just hitting your cues, but also rolling with the punches. Basically, he taught him how to get jiggy with it. You know how he do.

Footsteps of Our Fathers

What kid doesn't want to follow in their daddy's footsteps, especially when their daddy is rich and famous like Eastwood and Smith? Just ask their boys, Scott Reeves and Jaden Smith, respectively. MSN has put together a little tribute to some successful dads and their talented(?) offspring. Actually, it's pretty cool. It's nice when apples don't fall far from the tree.
