Tori Spelling's "Mommywood" Book Cover Revealed & Excerpt!

Actress Tori Spelling is a busy working mom! She's starring on the new 90210 and she found time to write a book about her children - Liam, 22 months and Stella, 7 months, with husband Dean McDermott. It's titled "Mommywood."

The book is due out April 14.

Here is an excerpt:

The doctors squeezed the self-heating goo on my belly and started moving the wand around. We already knew that the baby was a boy. Now the doctor was saying calming, non-specific things like, “Looks good, all good. There’s his little foot.” Actually, who am I kidding? I have no idea what the doctor was saying. Something had me distracted. I was focused on the screen, staring hard at my baby’s delicate face. There he was, all perfect. Head, eyes, ears, but, well, I didn’t want to admit it, even to myself, but something was bothering me. His nose. I kept coming back to it. I was worried, well, was I even allowed to think this? It looked a little, um, large.

I was picking apart my unborn baby. I couldn’t help but flash back to the day my mother told me I’d be pretty “as soon as you have a nose job.” Mothers are supposed to think their children are gorgeous no matter what. What if I didn’t? What if I’d inherited some mutated gene from my mother that caused us to feel nothing but disappointment in our offspring? Oh my God, was a destined to replicate the mistakes my mother made? Do all moms wonder what their children will look like? Or was I living in Mommywood?

Tori's first book "sTORI TELLING" became a New York Times Bestseller.

Tori Spelling, like any mom, loves to talk about her babies - Liam, 22 months, and Stella, 7 months. Her son, although a bit "weirded out" by his new sibling at first, has taken a shine to her and baby Stella is already a daddy's girl.

Tori on daughter Stella, who is a spitting image of her dad (Dean McDermott):

"She already bats her eyes and [Dean's] melting. She can do no wrong." As for Stella looking just like Dean and nothing like Tori: "I think I was just a vessel. Like, I carried you for 9 months. I guess I was just a shell so you could survive for 9 months."

But, Tori did get to hear Stella say "mama" first!

"Today she said mama for the first time. It was like the biggest day. She was sitting in her little Exersaucer. We were in the living room and I just heard, ‘Mama,’ and the arms out, and I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ Your heart just melts. Liam’s all walking by just like, ‘Mama, mama. What’s the big deal? I can say that."

Tori on son Liam, who didn't take to his baby sister right away:

The 90210 actress says that Liam's relationship with Stella was "questionable at first." However, the almost 2-year-old eventually warmed to her and now "he's a really good big brother."

She adds, "You know he has his moments. He wants the attention. But then at times he goes over and pets her head and plays with her. He makes her laugh and he is like her world. She lives and dies for him so he can do no wrong."

Will Tori and Dean have more babies?

Tori says they have "the perfect family," but are definitely considering having more children. "I always say whatever we're blessed enough to be able to have, I'd be happy with."

Tori and Dean certainly do make cute babies!

Dean is also dad to Jack, 11, from his previous marriage.

Tori Spelling is mom to Liam, 22 months, and Stella, 7 months and she says there's a little bit of healthy competition between her kids. Said the 90210 actress, "Today she [Stella] said 'mama' for the first time. It was like the biggest day. I was like, 'Oh my god!' Your heart just melts." Liam, however, was not so impressed by his little sister's milestone.

Tori added, "Liam's all walking by just like, 'Mama, mama. What's the big deal? I can say that.'

"He was a little weirded out that she was staying, and now he's really good." Tori teased, "He thought she was on loan like most of my clothes."

Despite Liam being "questionable at first" about his sister, he's adjusting well.

The mom-of-two added, "No, he's really a good big brother. At times he goes over and pets her head and plays with her. He makes her laugh and he is, like, her world. She lives and dies for him so he can do no wrong."

Tori admits that Stella is daddy's girl. "She already bats her eyes [at her dad]."

Spelling says that she and husband Dean McDermott have "the perfect family," but that they do want more children eventually.

Tori Spelling admits she gained 50 pounds with her second pregnancy but seven months after giving birth to daughter Stella, Tori's back in shape and looking better than ever! She's proud of herself, and says "I kick ass!"

Spelling, 35, who also has 2-year-old son Liam with husband Dean McDermott, says she's worked hard to get her body back after kids.

She's been eating healthy:

"Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We'd snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I'd make lean protein with vegetables for dinner.

She's been active too:

"I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We'd do phyical activities every day.

"I'm proud! I could've gotten here sooner if I was fanatical and worked out extensively every day, but I'm glad I didn't. I'm so happy I did it with my family and in a healthy way."

Gotta admit, she looks good.

Tori Spelling, after giving birth to her second child, was amazed that other celebrities were dropping their baby weight in just a few short weeks, but she wasn't. She had gained 50 pounds with daughter Stella, and while she lost 10 pounds right away, it took her six months to lose the rest. But she realized, it's not a race and wanted to do it right!

Spelling posed for In Touch and talked about how she lost an additional 40 pounds:

"When I got my body back after Liam, I was happy. But this time, I was like ‘I kick ass!’ I’m a working mom of two, so to know I did it all my myself was huge."

How much did you gain while pregnant with Stella?
I gained 50. I lost 10 pounds instantly and then another 40.

What was your diet like while losing the weight?

How many calories did you eat a day?
I never counted. I just ate healthy.

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their second child - daughter Stella - 6 months ago and it's always a special time when baby celebrates a "first." What will the celebrity parents be spoiling Stella with?

Tori says that they're excited about the holidays, including 21-month-old son Liam and of course it's always fun when it's baby's first Christmas.

Spelling says,"I decorate one big tree and make individual trees for the kids -- little baby decorated trees. Last year, I did a Pokemon one for [stepson] Jack, 10 and a monkey tree for Liam, decorated with miniature sock monkeys! Stella will need a ladybug tree this year!"

How will they spend their holiday? Christmas Eve will be spent making gingerbread houses, something Tori loves doing. And the 35-year-old actress said of Christmas Day, "We'll have a family morning at home opening presents. Stella's ready for some learning toys, so we might get her an activity gym for the floor and a bouncer."

She adds, "And I have to spoil her with a dress or two."

And Tori hopes to find a Christmas stocking with a ladybug on it since that's Stella's nickname.

Tori Spelling is making a return to TV, but it's not to 90210 as you might expect! The mom of two was first introduced as a certain character on a certain show back in January of 2007, and is going to reprise that role. Do you know what show it is?

Spelling, according to Ew.com, will appear on Smallville as The Daily Planet's gossip columnist Linda Lake. Tori's character is 'unique among Smallville's long line of villains in one very significant way: She knows Clark's secret.'

However, old-school 90210 fans don't fret - Tori is back in talks with execs to return as Donna Martin on 90210: New Flavor. Spelling was set to return earlier to the show but she backed out, reportedly over money - as in, not enough of it.

As for the Smallville gig, Tori is set to appear in early 2009.

Tori Spelling and Jessica Alba had their babies just two days apart, and Tori would look at how quickly Jessica got back to her pre-baby figure and feel the added pressure of doing the same.

In Touch spoke with Tori about the pressures that celebrities feel to get back in shape following the birth of their children. Spelling said, "I would look at pictures of myself and compare them to Jessica Alba, who had her baby two days before me.

"I'd see photos of her two months after and go, 'Look at her!'" Tori decided to pass on fad diets and Hollywood trainers and get healthy the sensible way. She enlisted the help of her husband Dean McDermott, 19-month-old Liam and new baby, Stella. They make meal time a family affair and keep active.

Tori added, "The best way to lose weight is to make it a family affair. It has changed my life. I'm embracing the fact that it's a struggle for me to drop the pounds.

"It's easier now because I'm not as focused on it."

And Tori says moms should take their time. "If you get obsessed, you'll miss out on great moments with your children."

I think she looks pretty darn good for having a baby just four months ago!

According to Star magazine, earlier this month, Tori was seen at a CVS in Westwood, California, buying a pregnancy test! Seriously? Baby Stella is only four months old! Friends say that Spelling got the urge shortly after Stella's birth. Uh, ya, I'd say!

Tori said, "I'd be happy having one of each. But I wouldn't mind having three."

Oooh are you going to watch the new Beverly Hills 90210? It sure sounds different that the one I used to watch! According to the stars, it's definitely not a show for kids....

Lori Loughlin and Rob Estes - who play parents on the show - aren't your typical mom and dad. Estes says, "It's not a mom and dad who are home eating bon bons. It's a couple who's f*cking! We'll clear the kitchen so fast, you don't know what to do with yourself." Well now.

Beverly Hills alum, Jennie Garth admits the show is a tad racy. "My kids are by no means ready to watch this 90210."

Bad girl Shannen Doherty is trying hard not to come off as the bad girl anymore. She only had "nice" things to say about former (and now present) costar Jennie Garth.

Shannen spoke with Extra about working with Jennie again and said, "It's been a really nice experience....We already have our little inside jokes."

Jennie said of the experience thus far, "It is what it is. It's fine....No crazy drama's going on."

Now, if they could get Tori Spelling back on - she reportedly rejected their offer because she wasn't going to be paid as much as her former costars. Garth said about Spelling not returning, "I'm really sad that it hasn't happened yet. And I'm very hopeful that it will happen."

Well, that dream might come true! Tori and producers are reportedly starting the negotiations once again - so maybe "Donna" will be back!

I wasn't going to watch the new 90210 - but with the promise of raunch, the fact that Brenda is back (she was my fav) and being able to see hottie Rob Estes every week, I just might tune in. Remember parents - the new Beverly Hills 90210 is not for kids!

Oh, is there trouble brewing in Tori Spelling's paradise? Apparently her husband, Dean McDermott is "annoyed" with her. Wonder why?

Fans are reportedly disappointed that Tori won't be joining the cast of the new Beverly Hills, 90210, despite her being one of the original cast members and her dad was the creator of the original show. And not only are the fans upset that she dropped out but so is her husband - because he wanted a piece of the Beverly Hills pie!

Tori wanted to be paid as much as her former costars - Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth - are receiving and since she was offered less, she opted to bow out. A source close to Dean said, "He told her that they should have worked something out before she made an abrupt decision because now he can't even be on the show!"

Well, who knew Deanie boy wanted to make an appearance? Learn something new every day! Maybe he should find acting gigs on his own and not try to ride his wife's skirt tails.

Tori said to absolutenow.com, "Dean and I are going to take a hiatus from having babies. But when we decide to have more, maybe I will be able to produce triplets! I'd like that." Someone may have to explain to her that you can't necessarily just decide you want a certain amount of multiples and be actually able to produce them on demand. Maybe she's just daydreaming out loud?

She continued, "But that would be in the future - not right now. I am going to have a little break to raise the babies we have. But we definitely want more."

Let me be the first to wish her luck on getting pregnant with triplets. That's a pretty tall order!

Hi everyone, I know I couldn't invite you all to Monkey's 1st birthday party but I hope that you at least got to see it on TV! It was a blast and it was so amazing to see everyone. Monkey had such a great time. Thank God for my gays or I just don't know how I would have pulled that off.

I was so happy to see everyone at the party. Loni Anderson has always been such a great inspiration and motherly figure to me and I'm so glad she finally got to meet Liam. I can't wait for her to meet Stella.

Two kids! Can you believe I have two kids? Well, I certainly can't. My career has always been so important to me but since Liam and Stella we've really adjusted our priorities. It's amazing how much you can love someone. My friends who had babies before me had always told me that but you really don't get it until it happens to you.

Anyway, I can't wait to start uploading pictures from the party to my Myspace page. I really appreciate all of the support I get from all of you and I love reading your posts. Keep it up and tell all your friends to "friend me"—we love new people!

What is with some of these celebrities who give birth and then go out in public with their post baby, gigantuous breasts NOT in a bra? Don't their boobs leak? Seriously, haven't I see breast pad things in the stores for this very problem? How do you possibly wear a boob leakage pad if you don't have a bra on? And you put those bad boys in a flimsy sundress? Tori Spelling is guilty of that very thing - and I'm not going to accuse her of having a bad boob job (but I am secretly thinking it) but even if her boobs were perfect, uh, please do us all a favor, put a bra on. Not that I'm looking. More photos of Tori and Dean shopping after the jump - seems like that's all that they do since baby Stella was born. It was probably Stella's idea for them to leave - the infant needed time away from her annoying parents.

Hey Tori and Dean - get a room. Your sucking face public display of affection is making some people (won't mention any names - me) kinda queasy. Don't you people have a Ducati to ride or something?

PS - Might seem like a lot of boobage talk in my posts at times, but when a celebrity gives birth, it's perfectly acceptable to discuss such things in great length and/or post photos of the evidence.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcomed their baby girl Stella Doreen on June 7. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. with a full head of dark hair and they call her their miracle baby.

OK! gives us the first peek at Stella and she's adorable! She's little sister to Liam. Tori says, "She's a miracle. I was on the pill and wasn't feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another and on that one day we conceived. It was meant to be!

"My first thought was, 'My god, she's so beautiful. My second thought was, 'Oh my god, she has black hair! Where did that come from?' [laughs] Liam has blonde hair and is very fair. She was born with black hair, very tan."

Tori adds, "I never thought I'd have a daughter. Dean's first child [Jack] is a boy and then we had Liam and I thought, 'Because I'm so girly-girly, I'll have all boys.' "

Daddy Dean says, "When I saw Stella for the first time, I just bawled my face off out of pure joy. I've always heard that there's nothing like that bond between father and daughter. There is nothing like it — you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They're just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it."

Looks like all those stories about Tori Spelling bursting with excitement about her impending birth proved to be true: the actress gave birth to Stella Doreen McDermott today at 3:13pm. The 6 lbs 8 oz. bundle of joy joins big brother Liam, 1.

"She's here! She's a healthy baby girl. Tori and baby are resting comfortably," Tori's rep tells OK! magazine.

Stella gets her middle name, Doreen, from daddy Dean McDermott's late mother. I wonder where 'Stella' is from - Stella McCartney? A Streetcar Named Desire? This will keep me up tonight.

Congratulations to Tori and Dean and their monumental burst!

This picture reminds me of the scene in the movie where the evil witch is trying to get Snow White to eat the poison apple. What's in those french fries? Ex Lax? Fingernails? And how appetizing would it be to have Dean McDermott serve you eggs while you have to stare at a tat of Tori Spelling and her big boobs?

They're shown here on the set of their reality show, "Tori and Dean: Inn Love" that supposedly takes place in the B&B they run. Do you think Tori does any work around the place? Can you imagine her turning down a bed and putting a mint on the pillow, or Dean getting up in the middle of the night to unplug your toilet? Does Tori force you watch reruns of 90210 before you get any fresh towels? I think I'll just stay at the Ramada down the street.

Tori Spelling and Hubs Hit Toronto, Try Convince Canadians That They're Good Parents and Really Nice People, Eh.

Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott are in Toronto with their three-month old baby Liam in their fancy Silver Cross pram ($3000), promoting their new show "Tori and Dean: Inn Love" and shopping for a home. Which wouldn't be interesting at all, except that Dean's ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace also lives here.

Which is, come to think of it, not interesting at all. Unless you're Canadian, in which case it's a scandal on a par with K-Fed squiring Britney and brood around Shar Jackson's hood. (Which, no, you're right, isn't really a scandal, but still.)

If you're Canadian, or an avid Tori-phile (which would put you in the company of legions of unemployed thirtysomething guys with Brandon Walsh mullets living in their parents' basements watching 90210 on cable, and, maybe, one or two aspiring drag queens), you know that two years ago Dean dropped Mary Jo for Tori while he and Tori were making a TV movie together. You might also know that he and Mary Jo were, at the time, in the process of adopting a baby girl, an adoption that Dean - ever the man - backed out of. You might also know that Tori was pregnant well before the ink was dry on the divorce papers.

It was torrid. It was messy. It was unCanadian. So of course we lapped it up. We all still feel a little bit dirty about it, but what's a Canadian to do? Canadian sex scandals usually just involve politicians playing footsie with each other or calling each other dirty names. Which is to say, Canadian sex scandals usually involve no sex. So we'll take it where we can we can get it, thank you very much.

It would all be really, really funny, if it weren't for the babies. Tori and Dean sung the joys of parenthood as they pimped their show - it has been, they said, "amazing" to work with young Liam who, despite his infancy, will feature prominently in the second season (start 'em young, I say) - all the while glossing over the fact that this is Dean's second shot at fatherhood, and that he failed pretty miserably at the first. (What? You don't think bailing on an adoption because you found higher love in a pair of 34DDs is problematic paternal behaviour?)

So Dean McDermott abandons his wife, son and nearly-adopted infant daughter and runs off with Tori, his Movie-Of-The-Week co-star slash 90210 has-been, and has another baby who he promptly puts on display in a reality TV show and we're all supposed to applaud and coo because he and ~~Tarty~~ Tori are, like, totally "on a baby high" right now?
