People Are Still Willing to Pay John Edwards to Speak

Yeah, we're scratching OUR heads, too. John Edwards has been hired to speak at the University of Illinois in October. I can't imagine he's speaking on morality. In fact, I can't imagine anyone wanting to hear him speak at all, unless they're in it for the Train Wreck Effect. Edwards, 55 and father of three, will forever be famous for $400 haircuts and being a scumbag who cheats on his cancer-stricken wife. But get this...they're paying him $65,000 dollars!

I may not like the man, but I can't blame him for taking the money and running. After all, he's going to be hard-pressed to get paid doing anything else these days. You know you messed up bad when even the politicians are shunning you.
