The Cruise clan headed to Brazil for another stop on the Valkyrie promotion tour.

Katie looks adorable in her little beach cover-up, she also looks very relaxed. That's wonderful for her because she was starting to look like she was wound a little too tight.

The beach they visited is the residential beach area on a military base and of course, they were eventually mobbed by the residents.They were probably very gracious and kind as always, but they have to want to be left alone at some point.

I wonder what was so interesting in the cup, maybe they found some sand crabs, those are always so fun.

Is Katie Breaking Under the Pressure Of Tom?

People have been questioning whether Katie Holmes is Anorexic or if she's pregnant. Strange combination I know, but then again perception is everything.

The National Enquirer says that Katie is buckling under the pressure of his iron thumb. They also claim that Katie is smothered and isolated by Tom.

I'm not sure how that works if she's been in New York by herself for months.

However, an insider is also claiming that Katie is terrified of the fact that if she left him, he'd make it difficult for her to see their daughter Suri. She has seen him in action considering how he kept Connor and Isabella away from Nicole after their divorce.

That sounds like a bad romance novel. It always plays out the the rich and powerful shipping magnate is going to take the child that was born is secret to his home, and the mother will never see the baby again, because what court would side against him.

Did Tom Cruise read too many romance novels as a teen and decide that was what he wanted to be? You know, beside killing Hitler.

Katie Holmes Says I Don't Wanna Go Home

Katie Holmes stood up to little Tommy boy and it looks like she may get her way. She knew what she wanted and went after it, Yay! for her.

She wants to stay in New york and Tom wants her to move back to the family compound in California.

I know she recently auditioned for Finding Neverland and is going to start filming Extra Man next month, but I wonder if her reluctance to go home has anything to do with the fact that she's expected to pop out a couple more puppies.

Kaite is having fun in New York with Suri and has a new found confidence she acquired while on Broadway. She doesn't want to lose her sense of independence and knows that when she goes home to L.A. she will be on a Scientology lock down.

All this, along with the fact that New York is beautiful in the spring time would make me do anything I could to stay too.

I love the fact that they actually take pictures in which she appears shorter than Tom, it's just too funny to me.

Tom Cruise loves being a daddy. He loves it so much it he used to dream about becoming a dad when he was just a kid.

He always wanted to be a dad, a grown up. He said, "I remember being four years old - I always wanted to work and grow up. I always wanted to be a father. I've enjoyed every part of it to all three of my kids. I feel lucky to have teenagers and to have a toddler, to have the journey of both happening at the same time. All my kids, I love them."

When I was four, I wanted nothing more than to play outside and ride my bike. How about you?

He's been a good dad to his kids and seems to truly have their best interests at heart. Though I am kind of worried about the fact that he loves the pictures the paparazzi take of Suri and thinks they make such a great photo collection.

He says, 'I have to say some of those paparazzi shots of my daughter are incredible. As a parent you protect your children but Suri is a very open and warm child and she will just wave to people on the street. She is such happy, fun girl. It is certainly different these days with the media, but people have been very good to us and do give us space so I am not going to be difficult.'

I'm not so sure that Suri loves the photographers. Some of the pictures you see of her, look like she's trying to burrow in to her mothers shoulder to get away from the flashes and yells.

Katie Holmes Needs To Tell Tom To Back Off

We all know that Tom Cruise has some control issues and it seems that those along with his limitless energy doesn't bode well for Katie Holmes.

How can that be, they are on separate coasts right now? Well, he is dictating her schedule on a daily basis and she doesn't seem to have a free moment to rest. Even her weekends off from her Broadway production are spoken for. Tom expects her to fly home to Los Angeles to spend some time with him.

Um, tired much? I am tired just thinking about the bi-coastal roundtrip, especially with kids.

Tom needs to lay off and let Katie sleep in every once in a while. It's good for the body and the soul to relax and take it easy once in a while.

Sources say that she is now begging him to give her a break. They also say that, “All the racing around is killing her. Katie just can’t keep this pace up much longer. Something has got to give - and Katie says Tom is going to have to lighten up on her. Of course he wants to see her and Suri, but she can’t keep making these coast-to-coast trips. She has to get some rest. Katie loves being in ‘All My Sons’ on Broadway. It’s been a great success and a terrific experience for her, but Tom doesn’t seem to understand that she needs a break sometimes. She can’t keep going and going like he expects her to.”

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time with people telling me what to do.

Suri Cruise is as cute as a button with her ladybug umbrella.

Suri isn't being held and covering her ears, she must have relished the opportunity to hold the umbrella. Did she say, no mommy I do it?

Her gaze is so serious and direct. She's getting used to the paps and their constant barrage of questions and flash of cameras. Isn't that something that you should never get used to?

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri are slowly taking over the apartment building they are living in. They have purchased 5 units throughout the building and are using them for various purposes. One is their main residence, one is a gym, two for their staff and one of the apartment spaces is reportedly used for Suri's playroom.
I think that Suri may have entitlement issues when she gets older. She may think she's entitled to things without working for them if she grows up with a whole apartment as her playroom.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are starting to look more and more alike everyday. Katie will always be taller, but with the matching suits and the short haircut of Katie's, it's almost impossible to tell them apart.
I thought it took many years for couples to start looking like each other instead of just a couple of years.
Her Broadway debut is a success and she may be launching a denim line, why is she muting herself. She has a great sense of style and usually dresses the part. We shall see what happens. Tom knows he can't transfer his consciousness into her, right? He needs to let her be her own person not a carbon copy.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are always so gracious to the paparazzi. So much so , that it came as no surprise that while walking to dinner one evening, Tom Cruise reached out to help a fallen photographer.
Why are they so nice to the paparazzi? They are the ones taking the pictures that start the rumors and say nasty things about them. It must be a strategy, kill 'em with kindness and all that.

Who is the next Hollywood hookup going to be?

I have no idea, but I know that Suri has a crush on Zac. I wonder if Suri says "Mo'm" (use embarrassed teenage inflection) when Katie Holmes laughs and tells her friends all about it? Katie said that Suri has been hooked on Zac since she first saw him in " High School Musical", and that Suri likes to dance and sing along with Zac in Hairspray too.

This is something that is going to come back and haunt Suri later in life when she is of dating age. Her mom is going to say, remember when you had a crush on Zac Efron. Suri will roll her eyes and be embarrassed by her parents, just like the rest of us were, by our parents.

Women's Day is reporting that Katie told Tom that she intends to leave Scientology behind. The couple may be facing a crisis in their relationship because Tom is such a strict Scientologist. A "friend" is even claiming that "Tom is worried and now their marriage may have to change in a lot of ways."
I guess this stint on Broadway has really boosted her self confidence and she's ready to stand up for herself.

PETA Says- No Armani Katie Holmes

PETA has gone from just opposing fur and working for ethical treatment of animals to outright warnings to celebrities. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise received a letter urging them to keep away from Armani as a designer. Why?

PETA has been in talks with different designers to stop using fur in the clothing lines. Armani received a letter from Peta urging them to refrain from using fur and yet this year he used fur anyway. He used it in toddler clothes and jackets of all places. Peta has said that, "We feel betrayed. I have met with Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and many other designers who once used fur but had a change of heart, and not one of them broke their promise."

The warning was issued to the Holmes-Cruise family because, the famliy wears a lot of Armani. Though the family has up till now been fur free, Peta wants them to boycott Armani designs until the designer goes completely fur free.

You know, I think that Peta has the right idea on what they want to accomplish, ethical treatment of animals however some of their practices are questionable. Not the warnings to celebrities, but some of the other things they do I highly question.

Katie Holmes gave her first performance on Broadway on Thursday night in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons". Was she nervous, how did she do? Did her voice carry beyond the footlights?

The show on Thursday was a preview performance of the play and Katie's performance was well accepted by critics and theatre goers.

One critic from the Associated Press even said that, "If Holmes felt nervous and jittery, she didn't show it. She delivered her lines with confidence and projected her girlish voice so it could be heard loud and clear. She danced around on stage with gusto. She looked lovely in two dresses that highlighted her trim yet shapely figure."

A friend of Katie's said that she brought, "this fresh breeze of air not only in her acting but also in her dialogue that kind of breaks up the seriousness of what's going on. I'm actually surprised that she's, you know, enough of an actress for being on Broadway."

I think a lot of people felt that she isn't enough of an actress for Broadway, but we must remember that she has John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson as co-stars. I'm sure they all want to succeed so they had a ton of rehearsals and tips to give her so she would be ready.

The happy family took off for places unknown, no mystery man and no little black rain cloud followed them out of town.

Everyone is all a twitter because Katie Holmes has been seen with a mystery man.

She had coffee with this handsome stranger in New York and everyone cried foul.

Is she cheating? Who is the mystery man?

“One of the girls on the crew saw them having coffee last week, and when she went over and said hello … even though they spoke for about five minutes, Katie didn’t introduce the mystery man.”

Tom doesn't seem to be worried though. He seemed to be having a good time and carefree as he spent some quality time with Suri.

The guy was probably just a Scientology handler or maybe it was added security with all the protestors around. I think that Katie has a good thing going right now. She saw what happens to the kids when the parents split, Tom gets the kids. I don't think she would ever do anything to upset the fine balance she has right now.

Katie Holmes-Ticket Sales Are Good!

Producers of the Broadway revival of "All My Sons" are trying to dispel rumors that Katie Holmes is not selling tickets by announcing advance sales of $3.5 million.

Woo Hoo, that's almost the same amount of advance sales tickets that Equus has sold, and Equus has nudity.

Katie seems to be working very hard, rehearsing and learning her role and because of this, she should do a great job. Though getting an 'A' for effort doesn't always equate with a good performance.

I hope she proves all the naysayers wrong and the production is a hit.

The previews, I didn't know there were previews for Broadway, start showing September 18th and the full opening is October 16th.

Katie Holmes isn't having any luck selling tickets to her Broadway play, "All My Sons", but we know a group of people that will definitely be there.

The anti-Scientology group, Anonymous, is planning to be at the opening, to save Katie Holmes from Scientology. There are so many people that want Katie to get out of the cult, that I'm sure if they all bought tickets, the play would be sold out. Her parents would probably be in the front row.

An anonymous, Anonymous spokesperson said "We aren't looking to shut it ("All My Sons") down, we don't have the power to do that, we just want to prove a point, we want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before its too late."

That was fun, I got to use anonymous twice in the same sentence.

Katie's a big girl, and can make her own decisions. If at sometime she decides to get out of Scientology, she will, and she will have been cleansed form all the purple handed, bruised knee cleansing rituals she's had to do.

I must mention that this group of protesters is pretty serious. It is said that, members of the group wear masks when protesting to protect their identities and preclude social, political, and financial risks, because Scientology is a "dangerous cult" with "a well earned reputation for harassing critics and openly critical ex-scientologists at their homes and workplaces."

I'm almost scared for Katie, and hope her opening goes off without a hitch.

Katie Holmes, Is That You? "Anonymous" Declares War on Scientology

Tom Cruise, you've been served. An internet vigilante group calling itself "Anonymous" has declared war on the Church of Scientology. Reacting to the recent pulling of the Tom Cruise/Scientolofreak videos from YouTube, the group is retaliating against what they are calling internet censorship. The Church of Scientology is currently pursuing a lawsuit against website Gawker for copyright infringement for their posting of the videos.

"Anonymous" includes computer experts that are already known for causing internet mischief. In recent days the group has defaced websites for local chapters of the Church of Scientology and has also fax-spammed those same offices. To explain their campaign against Scientology, the group has posted a YouTube video putting the Church on notice:

"Over the years, we have been watching you, your campaigns of misinformation, your suppression of dissent, your litigious nature. All of these things have caught our eye.

"We shall proceed to expel you from the Internet and systematically dismantle the Church of Scientology in its present form."

I was hoping there would be some threats to kidnap Katie from the mothership and release her back on earth.
