Let me just be honest and say I have no idea who Billie Piper is. Luckily I have this new thing called "The Internet" and it told me that Piper used to star in a British series called Dr. Who. It also told me she gave birth in October to that cute little baby there, a boy named Winston. I'm telling you, this Internet thing is really going to catch on in the next few years.

I also learned that the actress will be starring in a new show about a struggling single mom who goes in search of her own father. The producers could save themselves a lot of trouble if they just named the new show Mr. Who.

Piper has called motherhood the "toughest job" she has ever had, which may explain the look on her face in this photo. She might be a lot happier of she spent some time on The Internet.

Billie Piper's little Winston James is three months old now and she couldn't be happier.

She is working but she is being very choosy about the jobs she takes, she doesn't want them to take time away from her pride and joy.

“It’s all quite full-on at the moment. You spend a lot of time awake! I think the worst of the bad sleeping is drawing to an end.”

Oh Billie, I know a woman whose son didn't sleep through the night until he was 5, I'm not trying to scare you but, it's been known to happen.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl star Billie Piper, 26, gave birth to her first child 3 months ago - Winston James Fox - and the pretty actress admits she gained over 30 pounds with the pregnancy. So, how did she shed the weight in such a short time?

Billie, who is still breastfeeding, is just five pounds short of her pre-pregnancy weight.

A source said, "She's often so tired or busy looking after Winston that she just forgets to eat and can make do on dinner and fruit all day." But she knows losing weight by not eating properly is not a good way to do it, so she's back on track.

"Billie's eating really healthy and makes sure she only has healthy snacks if she gets hungry between meals."

Piper, who had to have an emergency Caesarean, is still unable to do any strenuous exercise, so she relies on postnatal yoga and Pilates three times a week to help get her figure toned.

"Billie does lots of gentle yoga and is starting to tone with reasonably heavy weights. It's really helped to reduce her stretchmarks. The ones she has are very faint."

The new mom also does gentle stomach "zip-ups" which are designed to knit stretched tummy mucles back together, as well as leg raisers and tummy toners.

Where do these brand new moms find time to do all of this working out?

What do you think about breastfeeding out in the open? OK? Not okay?

Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. I've always thought the States are pretty puritanical compared to the rest of the world. It's okay to see everything except the female nipple? Crazy. But then, nobody asks me for my opinion.

Billie Piper Has to Stay in Hospital a Week

After her 26-hour labor and then an emergency C-section, Billie Piper gave birth to her first child on Tuesday, a son. Billie, 26, is happy as can be now that son Winston James Fox is finally out of her belly. Husband Laurence Fox, 29, says that the mom and baby are doing great.

Fox says of the 6 lb, 11 oz baby: "He is beautiful. He is sweet. It was an emergency Caesarean. I'm tired but not as tired as Billie, no doubt. She was in labour for more than 24 hours."

Because of the hard labor and C-section, doctors say that Billie will stay in the hospital with her baby while she recovers from the operation. She'll be there at least through Sunday, possibly as late as Tuesday or Wednesday.

Good thing Billie gave birth in England. Here in the States, they eject you from the hospital after 24 hours most of the time. Maybe 48-72 hours for a C-section. Ah, thank you, insurance companies. You rock.

TVs Secret Diary of a Call Girl actress Billie Piper has given birth to her first child - a boy!

*Updated with baby's name and details!*

Baby, according to The Sun, was delivered by C-section with her husband Laurence Fox by her side. No other details have been released at this time.

Fox was asked by reporters outside of the hospital about their son's name and he said, "It's a private moment." He did share that they had a moment of panic when he couldn't get their car to start after Billie went into labor, but thankfully they made it to the hospital in time.

Congrats to the first time parents!

Proud new dad, Laurence Fox said that his son weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz., and they've named him Winston James Fox. He said Billie was in labor for 26 hours before they went to the hospital and that the "emergency caesarean only took about 20 minutes."

Fox said, "Billie is happy. Of course she is, she's a mum. I am tired but not as tired as her - I am a proud father." He gushed that his newborn son is "beautiful" and "sweet."

When asked when Piper would be out of the hospital, Fox replied, "Well, she has been cut apart, so probably overnight. I will be with her for the length of it."

God bless Billie Piper. She's expecting her first child with lucky husband Laurence Fox this winter and like most good mothers she quit smoking for her pregnancy. Well, most good mothers THESE days. Back when I was born, you know, in the early 20th century, it wasn't a big deal to smoke when pregnant. This may or may not explain a lot.

Billie says, "I gave up smoking straight away and it was fine. But now I'm craving a cigarette sooo badly. I keep looking at the bump and thinking 'Okay, you're formed!'"

That's gotta be a bitch. I'm not advocating smoking, but it'd at least be nice to have your family supporting you in your hours of need. Not Billie's. "I speak to most of my family and they say, 'Oh, we smoked through all of our pregnancies.'"

I wonder if we're related? That'd be weird, lusting after your own family like that.

Hottie Billie Piper is expecting her first baby next month and has found pregnancy to be quite difficult on her acting career. The 25-year-old star of the hit series "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" said that recent filming has been tough.

"Being pregnant and filming scenes where you’re having to be sexually provocative...when all you want to do is sit in a corner and eat - that was hard for me."

She recalls how hard it was for the show's crew to work around her roundness. "By the end it was really tricky. I was showing big time, plus I was eating like a horse!"

The new series of "Call Girl" starts in England this month. For now, she's concentrating on her pending momhood with husband Laurence Fox, a 30-year-old actor.

I don't care how many other shows she does. She'll always be my beautiful Rose from "Doctor Who," though she says she'll never reprise the role. Dammit.

Billie spent her summer before baby finishing the filming of the second season of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. She did say that she felt like a 'sweating sea cow' the majority of the time.

She says that during filming, she "found the heat very uncomfortable, I was thirsty all the time and always needing the toilet – which is really unhelpful when working to such a tight schedule!, I needed two body doubles in the end. As I got more and more pregnant I began to gain weight so it looked silly having a really skinny body double.'

That's what I need, a really skinny body double.
She's only 25, she'll bounce back in no time at all.

Especially since she's playing a call girl, not a fetish girl.

British Piper and her husband Laurence Fox have decided they would like a home water birth.

A pal said to the Sunday Express, "Billie has been saying she doesn't want all the bright lights of a hospital and thinks a home birth in warm water would be a wonderfully calm way for her baby to come into the world."

This will be Billie and Laurence's first child.

Have you had a home birth? Why or why not? Personally (uh, well, I'm done having kids at this point), I could have never had a home birth, just not for me!
