Michelle Williams and Daughter Matilda Support Their Local Coffee House

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda took a walk in Brooklyn on Saturday, and as with most outings where mothers and daughters are present, coffee was involved. That's how it is for me and my two girls, anyways - it's getting so we can't step out the door without a $10 detour to Starbucks. It makes me long for the good old days, when they'd be satisfied with a juice box I grabbed out of the refrigerator.

Williams is currently filming the indie drama Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling. That oughta pay for a few more mother-daughter coffee outings.

Posh: LA Is Home Sweet Home

Despite reports that the Beckhams we're ready to pack up their junk and blow this popsicle stand, Victoria says they're staying Stateside because LA is "home."

Over the last few weeks, rumor had the Beckham clan making tracks to Milan, where they'd supposedly placed a bid on a historic Venetian palace. But according to Victoria, it's all a pack of lies.

“There’s no truth to that whatsoever. So many people have been coming up to me saying, ‘I hear you’re moving…’ but we’re not - we’re staying in LA. It has been great for David being in Milan, and we’ve all enjoyed spending time there - I’m going over there in a couple of days to see him. He’s coming back to the States in June, though - he has his first game in New York on the 16th of July, which he is very excited about.”

“You know, LA is our home and the boys are happy. We’re not looking for a house in Milan - I don’t know where that story came from. The last thing I want is another house!”

It's nice that the Posh and Becks are taking the boys' (Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 6, and Cruz,4) feelings into consideration. My family moved around a lot when I was growing up, and though it was good for me, I hated it.

Rumors about the Beckhams leaving the US have been circulating pretty mcuh since they first arrived. Still, with a jet-setting couple like Posh and Becks, you have to assume that one of these days the rumors will be true.

Wear It Like Beckham: Becks Is A Fashion Designer

Somewhere between playing for two pro soccer clubs on two continents and keeping up with his three boys (Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 4) how does David Beckham managed to find time to develop and craft his design skillz?

Apparently, Adidas suggested that David team up with James Bond (not that James Bond), the guy who owns the Undefeated sneaker freak boutiques, to come up with a fall/winter lineup for Adidas.

The collection will be made up of American sportswear, with a healthy dose of leather, cashmere, and silk. The shoes -- what I'm most interested in -- will be throw backs to traditional Adidas styles.

Surprisingly, David will not be appearing in any of the advertising for the line -- or so they say. Does that mean he's actually designing some of it? I kind of imagined him just reviewing designs on his Blackberry and replying "looks good."

Does Adidas just wants his name to be connected with the line to help sales? Or do they really want his design input?

Maybe Becks will wear the line out in public or something. Weird.

Spike Jonze And Michelle Williams Wedding Rumors

What's that I hear? Wedding bells? Wait... rumors about wedding bells? The word on the street is that Matilda Ledger may have a new daddy soon, and I think I'm buying into the rumors.

“They’re in love and absolutely thrilled with each other,” says a source. “They don’t see why they should wait much longer...

“Spike loves being with Matilda. He’s teaching her to skateboard and to ride a bike,” says a source.

“He never makes Michelle feel like taking care of her is a burden, because he truly thinks of them all as a family."

Apparently, all the signs point to Spike Jonze and Michelle Williams (Heath Ledger's ex-fiance') getting hitched -- and soon -- confirming my suspicions based on the fact that Spike's work was taking a very child-oriented direction.

I can't think of any other good reason that Spike would make a gag trailer for a film entitled Everyone Poops, except that he's anticipating fatherhood -- or a bout with incontinence.

David Beckham's Victoria Tattoo Is Misspelled

Ha ha! Becks can't read ancient Sanskrit! OK, neither can I ... but I'm not the one with his wife's misspelled name tattooed on my left arm.

That's right, somewhere down the line, the proper Sanskrit spelling of Victoria's name got lost in translation -- or actually, an "h" got added. According to scholars, Becks' ode to the wifey actually reads "Vihctoria."

There's no telling what other typos Becks is sporting. Maybe he should stick to English whenever he decides to immortalize the names of his boys -- Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 4 -- on his body somewhere.

America’s leading Hindu scholars are urging top tattoo artists to read up on their Sanskrit after noticing inked text on Rihanna and David Beckham’s skin is misspelled.

According to the experts, Beckham’s tattoo tribute to his wife Victoria is incorrect - as is one of Rihanna’s new spiritual etchings. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Raman Zed says, “We are all for the celebrity interest in Hinduism and our sacred texts, but celebrity tattoo artists worldwide really should undertake some basic training in ancient Sanskrit language and culture to get this right.”

Zed insists it must be embarrassing for the stars when they realize permanent marks on their skin are incorrect. He adds, “Rihanna has two Sanskrit prayer tattoos - her latest is misspelled. And David Beckham has his wife Victoria’s name in Devnagri script, which is commonly used to write Sanskrit, on his arm - its wrong! The tattoo on his left forearm misspells Victoria with an added ‘h’ - as in ‘Vihctoria’.”

But fortunately for stars like Jessica Alba, Tommy Lee and The X Files star Gillian Anderson, their prayer tattoos are all correct. Zed tells WENN, “I won’t tell you what they all mean - because I’m sure they’re very special to the individuals. We are delighted that so many celebrities choose to pay tribute to Hinduism with tattoos. We only ask that the tattoo artists take the trouble to get it right.”

This crap happens all the time with tattoos in foreign languages, that's why it's usually a good idea to avoid them. It's kinda like playing the telephone game, but permanently... with ink. And with your epidermis.

Did you happen to see this picture? It has some parents up in arms over the fact that David could have really hurt his son.

Now sure, David could have hurt Cruz, however I'm sure David has the situation well in hand. There isn't anything that he could hurt his head on and it looks like David is about to set him down.

This is one of my kids favorite things to do, the wind rushing through their hair and the thrill of the danger involved.

Cut David some slack, he's just enjoying sometime with his kids.

Milan Rejects The Beckhams' Offer To Buy Historic Castle

The Beckhams' hopes of finding suitable housing in Milan have been dashed, thanks to Milan's historically-minded city council. What a bunch of jerks!

Only the Beckhams could find their way into a predicament like this! According to reports the Beckhams want to stake their claim on a piece of Milan's most valuable real estate, which just so happens to be part of its rich history: the Sforzesco Castle. The word is that they've made an offer to the city council and been rejected.

Apparently, the couple planned to convert the popular tourist destination into a family home for Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz when they come to visit dad when he plays for Milan as part of his current timeshare contract with the LA Galaxy.

While it would be ridiculously cool to grow up in a Renaissance-era castle, Milan's city council apparently though it would be a little out of line for the couple to makeover the centuries old fortress. Not to mention, Posh and Becks deciding to buy one of Milan's top tourist sites comes off as a little bit egotistical. Does it not?

Guess they'll just have to keep roughing it in luxury hotels and such.

The apple has not fallen far from the tree. It looks like Brooklyn and Romeo Cruz have taken lessons from their mom and dad and their friend Suri Cruise needs to take their, "This is how you walk by the paparazzi", class.

Their (Brooklyn and Romeo) little faces are so serious, they just walk by the paparazzi with straight faces, no smiles, and no looking right or left.

Just. Keep. Walking.

And then there is Cruz, he almost always smiles for the camera. This time he's just holding out his doll or whatever that is and grinning from ear to ear.

Do your kids pose for the camera or is it a battle every time you get the camera out?

Michelle Williams and Matilda Have Their Priorities

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda were out walking in Brooklyn yesterday, and it looks like they both know what's important. Matilda has some beautiful flowers - she must know the value of keeping nature alive in an urban setting.

But Michelle and I are definitely on the same page when it comes to priorities. While flowers are pretty and all, no mom could even begin to appreciate any of that beauty without a big cup of coffee.

(Speaking of beauty, Matilda is growing up into such a little cutie, and the spitting image of Heath.)

Brazilian Model Mariana Bridi da Costa Dead at 20; Similar Case Involving Young Mom Last Year (Photos)

Brazilian model Mariana Bridi da Costa, whose hands and feet were amputated after her body was ravaged by a devastating infection, died early Saturday. "Unfortunately Mari couldn't resist any longer. She passed away at 3 a.m. today," Henrique Fontes, executive director of Miss World Brazil, said in an e-mail to CNN.

Da Costa, who first sought medical attention in December, developed an infection that forced doctors to perform the amputations and extract part of her stomach as well as both kidneys. The model first sought medical help in December and was diagnosed with kidney stones. Doctors prescribed medication and sent her home, but she returned to the hospital and was then diagnosed with a urinary tract infection that quickly developed into septicemia. Septicemia, triggered by a bacterial infection, causes insufficient blood flow that can lead to organ failure.

I was following this story closely because it seemed eerily similar to one I had read about just this past December. Tabitha Mullings, a Brooklyn mother of three boys, was also diagnosed with kidney stones and sent home from a hospital emergency room with painkillers. She later developed gangrene, which left her blind in one eye and a quadruple amputee. Luckily Mullings survived and is learning to walk with the use of prosthetic legs, but is suing the hospital that treated her.

Mullings is still alive to care for sons Charles, 14; Enrique, 12, and Matthew, 9. Sadly, da Costa's parents have lost their daughter at the young age of 20. As a parent, I cannot fathom the pain they are going through - losing a child, whatever the age, is unimaginable.

Celebrities are just like regular people (well mostly) - they have bad hair days or don't always look put together and one particular celebrity mom says she doesn't look her best when she wakes up. Who's willing to admit they "look like crap in the morning"?

Celebumom Victoria Beckham says she hides behind big sunglasses when she's feeling unattractive.

"I look like crap [in the morning]. I've got three children."

It's nice to know she's not glamorous 24/7!

She adds, "I never wear make-up or dress up at home. That's why I like big sunglasses. They hide a multitude of sins."

I'm going to get myself a big pair of shades - hey, if they hide the sins of moms, I'm all for it!

The former Spice Girl doesn't understand why the paparazzi bother with her or husband, soccer hottie, David Beckham.

"They shouldn't really bother following me. There are far more interesting people in Hollywood than myself and David!"

What do you suppose Victoria Beckham thinks about while she's in bed? What her plans are for the next day? Do the kids have clean socks? Did I feed the cat? I can tell you what I'd be thinking about if I were lying next to David Beckham....but I digress. What's on Vic's mind?

Surprisingly, she's thinking about clothes - as in, what she plans on wearing the next day.

She says, "I was talking to Gordon Ramsay and David about this the other day and they're the same."

Beckham adds, "Gordon visualizes a meal, then figures out how to prepare it. David visualizes the goal." They're men - trust me, they've got other things on their mind.

Victoria continues, "I'll lie in bed and think, what kind of look do I want to go for tomorrow? Then I find the pieces in my mind to create it."

The former Spice Girl believes she was destined to become a fashionista.

"I was never that good a singer but I think I am good at fashion.

"Even when I was at school, where I was bullied - sometimes physcially, sometimes verbally - I was always customizing my uniform. But being in the Spice Girls, fashion-wise probably didn't open any doors. If anything it shut doors and I've had to bang them down."

Regardless of if people like her style, it's kind of cool that she dreamed of fashion as a kid and is living her dream. Hopefully she passes that passion of dreaming what you want to be on to her boys!

Keri Russell is showing off her post-baby body in the December issue of Details magazine, but I'm not sure what to think of the photos. Remember Keri as the girl-next-door in Felicity? And those gorgeous curls? The new pics are a far cry from that...in fact, they're sort of creepy....

Russell has always been petite but seriously, the girl needs to eat a burger! And the, um, smudged eye makeup and the 'I've been on a drunken four-day bender look', just plain not sexy. Didn't Kate Moss try to capture this look years ago? Didn't work then, doesn't work now.

And the one with the teddy bear - uh, what. the. hell? These are photos that won't be able to go in the family album.

Keri is starring in a 'family-friendly' movie put out by Walt Disney Pictures (have they seen these photos?) titled Bedtime Stories, in which she is partnered with Adam Sandler. She says, "It's funny and it's a movie that kids can see (unlike mommy's photos!). But it's still got Adam's crazy sense of humor. It's not totally nicey-nice."

The 32-year-old was able to bring her son to work with her, which is great!

Adam said of Keri, "Working with Keri was the best. She would bring her son to the set to play with my daughter. She also taught me all the dances from her days as a Mouseketeer. Plus, every day at lunch we'd have a curly-hair competition, and I would win - except on humid days." I love Adam Sandler -he's so adorable!

Felicity star Keri Russell is getting ready to celebrate her first Christmas in Brooklyn with husband Shane Deary and son River Russell, 17 months. And together they'll be creating all sorts of new Christmas family traditions. "This is our first real Christmas," Keri said. "We had one last year but River was such a baby, so this is the first year that he's older and can run around."

"River is very cute. He's very sweet, just a mild-mannered guy. He's definitely a boy, loves playing with trucks, being with his dad."

Keri is starring in the new Adam Sandler movie "Bedtime Stories," which comes out on Christmas day. Balancing motherhood with a career can be hard. "I'm working on it," she says. "It's just an everyday process. You just take it a day at a time."

Lead singer for Rascal Flatts, Gary Levox loves his country music. But family comes before even that, says Gary, 38. He has two daughters, Brittany, 8, and Brooklyn, 4. Because his band mostly tours during weekends, he spends lots of time with his girls during the week and enjoys "taking them to school and picking them up and going to all the soccer and gymnastics practices."

Gary also takes each of his daughters out on special date nights. "Brittany got all dressed up, and we ate at a local Carrabba's, and then we saw Fly Me to the Moon in 3-D. She'll remember these dates for the rest of her life. So will I."

Rascal Flatts' latest album, "Greatest Hits Volume 1," was released in October.

Last Video of Heath Ledger

TMZ is showing a grainy cell phone video of Heath Ledger, which is possibly the last video of the actor before his untimely death.

The video comes from TheLondonPaper.com -and they claim it was shot from an apartment building window. It shows Ledger on the set of his last movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and was apparently taped on the evening of January 19.

Production On Heath Ledger's Last Movie Shut Down

The movie that Heath Ledger was filming at the time of his death - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - has shut down production. Word is that everyone working on the film has been let go and sent home.

A source told Us Magazine that everyone had been fired hours after Heath's death:

“I just got the call [Tuesday] saying everyone was being let go,” the on-set source tells Usmagazine.com. “We were supposed to start this weekend, but obviously they fired everyone today.

“They don’t know yet what they are doing with the footage that was already shot,” the source adds.

Ledger was on a break from filming when he died Tuesday. Shooting had begun in London last December. He was last photographed on set Jan. 19.

“Right now, everyone is in complete shock and can’t even speak,” the on-set source says.

What a shame. Understandable if it was necessary, but still: from the on-set photos - above and here - it looked like Heath was loving his role in that film, and that it was going to be good.

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda Rose are on their way to New York from Stockholm. "Going home" never seemed so sad. TMZ reports:

We're told that Michelle and Matilda went to nearby Gothenburg to board a flight to New York. Michelle's mother and sister are currently in Brooklyn and were joined there by Matilda's godmother, "Dawson's Creek" actress Busy Philipps.

Look at that sweet little girl...she looks just like Heath.

Get Out Your Hankies: The Memorial That Heath Left For Matilda

Damn it if this didn't cause the barely-contained dam of tears to burst: Heath Ledger left a little footprint memorial in Brooklyn for daughter Matilda.

People magazine spoke to a neighbor who was familiar with the "family secret":

Roger Lang, who lived across the street from Ledger and Michelle Williams during the then-couple's time in Brooklyn, tells PEOPLE it was Ledger who put the markings in wet cement near the fire hydrant in front of their house. "The Matilda thing in the sidewalk with the footprints, he did that about two years ago," Lang says. "It was a secret. It was a fun thing. He did it as a surprise for his family."

The 2-year-old's name is perpendicular to the word HUGO, which is the name of a neighbor's dog. On Wednesday some carnations wrapped in plastic were placed near the spot.

Adds Lang: "He was full of life. He'd call my father Matey. 'Hi Matey.' Because he was in World War II. They're great people and it's very tragic. They loved Brooklyn. They wanted to be a part of the neighborhood."

I've got no words for this. No adequate words, anyway.

Baby # 4 For Victoria and David Beckham?

Victoria Beckham would love to have baby # 4 with hubby David Beckham, but she's afraid another pregnancy will ruin her body.

The 33-year-old Spice Girl, has promised hubby that they can start trying for another child as soon as she's done touring which will be sometime in the spring. The couple have 3 sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and would love to have a daughter to add to their clan. They are apparently going to great lengths to improve their chances-David is on a special alkaline-rich diet designed to strengthen his sperm. Ah okay.

Victoria has fears of putting on any weight by getting pregnant and also because she had a hard time with her youngest, Cruz. A family member said to Britain's Now Magazine: "Victoria's got major issues about having another baby. She's terrified of putting on any weight, but she has to if she wants to fall pregnant."

The source added: "It was very painful and it took a lot out of Victoria physically. She's paranoid that the sagging skin around her tummy will get worse than it already is after three Caesarean sections." She's a celeb, just get plastic surgery. Duh.

"David says they want five kids, but we all think he'll settle for four if they can virtually guarantee this one's a girl. Victoria definately doesn't want to go through a fifth pregnancy, no matter what." Um, ya easy for David to say they should have five, he doesn't have to through the 23 months of pregnancy and the pain. Hope they get their girl!

Joel Madden Getting Baby Tats

Joel Madden is reportedly planning on getting his baby's name - you know, that one that he's having with Nicole Richie - tattooed on his chest.

He wants to get the tattoo within days of the birth, a source told Star magazine. "(He's) going to get his baby's name tattooed over his heart — one of the few places on his body that isn't covered in ink."

That's cool, I suppose. Over the heart is certainly better than over the ass, in the manner of David Beckham's ode to his firstborn child. Or over any other over-used (or under-used, as the case may be) parts.

Helena Christensen Teaches Dakota Fanning To Ride A Bike

Proving that supermodels can walk and do other activities, Helena Christensen was snapped ignoring her son, Mingus, while talking on the phone. So much warm, motherly concern for the young boy as he makes his best effort to learn to ride a bike while crossing a busy city street.

They are both rocking androgynous looks here. Helena looks like an old fisherman (how do you say "AHOY!" in Danish?) and Mingus could pass for one of the Fanning sisters with his Ryder Robinson bob. This is officially a trend, little boys having pretty, shoulder-length or longer hair, right? Except for the Beckham boys, who have the classic football hooligan buzz cut.

It doesn't matter, they're all cuties, and they will all swap hairstyles when they are teenagers. I would like to see Helena get off the phone and make sure her kid doesn't fall off of his bike in front of a bus...
