Goodfellas George Clooney and Brad Pitt have teamed up together with Asian officials to spread the word of charity for ongoing aid efforts in Myanmar, Burma after last month's disaster, via an Indonesian newspaper. They're hoping to get neighboring countries to allow aid to the region.

The pair has already donated $500,000 to U.S. pressure group Not On Our Watch, a charity for the same cause.

Brangelina is eying Burma for the next piece, a little girl, to add to their rainbow coalition.

Apparently they have enlisted the help of a monk to arrange safe travel through the military state to visit an orphanage. Angelina Jolie is, as you know, a thinking man's Mother Theresa and is starting to grow more and more despondent about the effect she is having in the Third World. According to the Daily Mail, she feels that "she is barely making a dent in the suffering she sees throughout the Third World as she travels incognito to different countries as a United Nations representative.

"She wants to step up her action in what she calls Red Alert areas, the most seriously troubled, war-torn areas in the world.

"She's in talks to go into Burma and help with students and AIDS victims who are suffering terribly."

Looks like it will be business and pleasure. She'll go and do what she do, what with the helping and what-not, then she can just swing through the duty-free shop on the way out and grab the baby. It's a win-win.
