Pregnant Carnie Wilson: No More Weight Gain!

Carnie Wilson, who is expecting her second child, has been very open about her weight issues over the years, and says pregnancy is no excuse to eat junk and let things get out of control.

Wilson says she watches what she eats and sticks to nutritious choices. "I don't need to pick at Oreos or pick at muffins," she tells PEOPLE. "I've put on 43 lbs. at [age] 40. I don't have to gain any more weight. I put my foot down. The baby is growing, and she's perfect."

Carnie has also stayed active during her pregnancy, and recently shot 40 episodes of the revival of The Newlywed Game on GSN. She admits it was "phsycially hard" being on her feet all day, but says baby Luciana (she and husband Rob Bonfiglio have already named their unborn daughter) was entertained.

"There were a couple of times where I'd ask a funny question and she would kick... and I'd let the audience in on what was going on."

She adds of the game show, "I can't think of anything better than talking to couples about their intimate lives, the things you really want to find out. The fact I got to ask those questions was a blast. There were definitely some contestants where you would know there was going to be a fight that would last three days."

Carnie said The Newlywed Game has got "to be fun and playful," so the old-fashioned euphemism "making whoopee" still holds.

She said, "I think whoopee is the way. I think if you 'make love' that's lovely when you're at a seminar trying to get your feelings out, but for The Newlywed Game it's got to be fun and playful."

Carnie and Rob are due in June and their older daughter Lola Sofia, turns four this month.

Carnie Wilson Will Welcome Luciana in June

Carnie Wilson is really the only one of girls from Wilson Phillips you ever really hear about. Is it because of her very public battle of the bulge or does she court the media with little bits of info here and there?

She's let us all in on the name she's picked for her daughter, who is due in June, it's Luciana.

June is such a great month to be born in, Luciana is pretty too, but summer babies are just so sweet. Did you have your baby's name picked out months in advance or did you have a few but decide on one at the last minute?

Carnie's Sporting a Planet-sized Baby Bump

Carnie Wilson is showing a Volvo-sized baby bump these days, as sported in this photo taken during a salon visit recently. She's not due until June, but she's fooling me because she looks like the stork is ready to visit at any given moment.

Coming up for Carnie, she's hosting 40 episodes of the new version of the Newlywed Game. I'd pay money to see Adam Corrola in that role, but still...the show premieres next month.

Carnie Wilson Expecting Another Girl

Singer Carnie Wilson, of the defunct Wilson Phillips, is expecting another daughter and shared the girl's name Tuesday on the "Bonnie Hunt Show." "It's Luciana but we'll call her Lucy," Carnie said. "Isn't that great?"

The 40-year-old singer says she's craving cheese and bagels. She's happy with where she's at, weight-wise, even though her weight has been slowly increasing since losing 150 pounds with gastric bypass surgery in 1999. "I'm glad that I lost 50 pounds before I got pregnant," Carnie says, "but honestly, I just push the big old pause button when I get pregnant."

Lucy will be Carnie's second child with husband Rob Bonfiglio. Their first daughter, Lola Sofia, is almost 4 years old. When Lola found out about the new baby, she said, "Mommy, Mommy, you're pregnant!"

"It was a beautiful thing," said Carnie.

Twins For Carnie Wilson?

Singer Carnie Wilson is pregnant with her second child - or could it be her second and third children? She was spotted in Beverly Hills Wednesday getting ice cream and her baby bump is really showing (she's due in June)...maybe she's going to get those twins she kind of hopes for?

Twins run in Carnie's family and by the sounds of it, she wouldn't mind being mama to two babies.

She said to OK!, "I can't stop thinking about twins! My sister had twins; my grandmother was a twin and my grandmother's aunt had twins. I had my first ultrasound and we only saw one sac, but it's not confirmed that it's not two because one could be hiding in back of the other... We'll see!"

Okay, now I want a cone of ice cream (my weakness)....I wonder if that's what Carnie craves? I craved oatmeal, M&Ms and rootbeer - uh, not together - with my pregnancies. I never craved twins though...ha.

Carnie Wilson is pregnant for the second time and is due in June. She, in an interview with OK! Magazine, talked about weight loss before pregnancy, and the hopes she has for this pregnancy.

“My due date is June," and “We’re thrilled.” Carnie reveals how she’ll stick to her diet and exercise routine while pregnant.

OK: How did you find out you were expecting?

Carnie: I was making dinner, and I took a home-pregnancy test. There was a second line, and I jumped and said, “Oh, my god, I’m pregnant!” Lola [my 3-year-old daughter] and I started screaming and jumping for joy. She was so excited!

OK: How did you tell your husband?

Carnie: I couldn’t get a hold of Rob because he was playing a jazz gig. I taped the pregnancy test to the front door and drew a picture of little stick figures of Daddy, Mommy, Lola and then a little tiny one. I jumped out of bed at midnight and went into the kitchen and I see him holding the stick. He took me in his arms and goes, “Here we go again, honey.” He was happy.

OK: What are your hopes for the pregnancy?

Carnie: I can’t stop thinking about twins! My sister had twins; my grandmother was a twin and my grandmother’s aunt had twins. I had my first ultrasound and we only saw one sac, but it’s not confirmed that it’s not two because one could be hiding in back of the other…. We’ll see!

OK: Did you expect to get pregnant so quickly after losing the weight?

Carnie: I did, actually. We had sex before, during and after ovulation. I was really keeping track of it, and it worked. Also, my body is so healthy now. I think we might have conceived to “She’s Leaving Home” by The Beatles!You’ve said you’re hoping for a boy.

OK: Any idea on names yet?

Carnie: We saw our first ultrasound yesterday. Lola pointed to the screen and was laughing, “That’s my brother Jake!” She wants to name the baby Jake, but Rob said no. In an Italian family, it’s traditional for the son to be named after the father, at least the first-born male.

OK: What does motherhood mean to you?

Carnie: The most joy you ever can feel is the love for your child. Children teach you so much. Motherhood is challenging, but it’s so fun.

Carnie was excited to get the new of her pregnancy and we congratulate her on her impending motherhood, again.

Carnie Wilson Is On Her Way

Carnie Wilson has steadily lost weight and is only 20 pounds away from reaching her goal of 150. She's giving herself 2 months or until October to lose the weight and then she's going to start trying to get pregnant again.

She has been on a strict diet and exercise regimen since the spring as has already lost 40 lbs. Her husband is very supportive of her losing weight (whose wouldn't be) and I'm sure he's excited about her baby plans. Since she says that she is, " going to mount my husband! [laughs] I have friends who are pregnant, and I want to be pregnant so badly. Two more months to go — it can’t come soon enough. We want a baby in my tummy right away."

She thinks that she is going to have minimal weight gain this next pregnancy if she keeps eating healthy and keeps on an exercise plan. Perhaps she will also have twins, they run in the family.

Carnie Wilson Wants To Drop More Weight, Then Have Another Baby

Carnie Wilson hit what she claims to be 'rock bottom' 3 months ago, at 208 pounds.

With a healthy lifestyle including good old fashioned exercise and nutritious food, she managed to drop 15 pounds, and has 30 to go before she will get pregnant again.

"I want to get pregnant again," Carnie, pictured here with daughter, Lola, 3, "I'll be so healthy." (Isn't Lola SO cute?)

Carnie has some of the same struggles as most moms, including the urge to eat after dinner. She has a trick to keep hunger at bay though:

"The evening is really hard for me. I have to force myself not to eat. I go back in my head and I see 150 pounds on the scale. So I'll fill up on tea! I'll have three cups in one night. I'm trying not to eat after 7:30 p.m."
