Let Me Break Down the Candy Spelling / Tori Spelling Feud For You

This may sadden you, but it appears Tori Spelling and her mom Candy are not speaking. Candy is selling the $150 million, 56,000-square-foot mansion where she's lived since 1991 and in a passive-aggressive interview she blames the whole thing on daughter Tori. Oh snap.

Candy tells People magazine that she never would have put Spelling Manor on the market if she thought it might ever be visited by estranged daughter Tori, her husband Dean and their two children Liam and Stella. Let me read between the lines of that interview for you.

"I don't see Tori and Dean anymore. I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I've never met Stella." Translation: That betch Tori and her spineless husband are keeping my grandchildren from me.

"I've tried to talk to her, but that doesn't work. She may not even know why she's angry." Translation: Tori won't talk to me because she thinks I cheated on her father. But I didn't, you know.

"If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house. I've fantasized for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children." Translation: I'll be homeless, and then you'll all be sorry.

"Someday my grandchildren will know who I am because of the trust funds I've set up, but I would like to be part of their lives now." Translation: Tori and Dean are just after my money, those money-grubbing ingrates.

McCain Lovin' Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Did She Get Death Threats?

Conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck makes her political views very known on The View. Even though, she's definitely one-sided at times (and perhaps a little annoying), I certainly don't think a married mom of two, who just happens to be on TV should get death threats because of her political opinions!

According to The New York Post, fellow View co-host Whoopi Goldberg told an Art and Educational Justice symposium crowd that Hasselbeck receives more death threats than anyone else on the show. Seriously, the others get death threats too?

However, an ABC spokesperson denies such claims to Extra, or that Whoopi even said that. "Whoopi was completely misquoted. She never said that."

Whoopi, although she and Elisabeth are total opposites when it comes to the politics, says she respects her co-worker. "Politically we could not be more opposite, but I respect her tremendously, "said Goldberg. "Truth is, we could not have a dialogue without Elisabeth. It's not that we have to agree; the important thing is that we have the conversation."

But the same might not be said for the relationship between Joy Behar and Elisabeth. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the two are not speaking when not on camera.

A View rep says it's not true though. "These fabricated rumors about alleged dissension between Elisabeth and Joy are as untrue today as they were yesterday, a week ago and when the rumor(s) first started."

It's Official: Peter Cook is Still An A**hole

You've got to hand it to Peter Cook. Just when you thought he had sunk to his lowest by having an affair with a teenager that broke up his marriage to Christie Brinkley, he tops himself by going on national TV and blaming the affair on...Christie Brinkley.

In an interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20 that will air Friday, Cook says, "I was seeking a connection I could not find in my own marriage. I think the emotional aspect of our lives had changed. I think we were both feeling more like we were living with a brother and sister than a life partner... I think I just suddenly realized when I was getting attention from someone else that this is something that is missing in my life. Nothing like getting sex from your 19-year-old hot assistant to make you realize what is missing in your life!

Unfortunately he continues on trying to gain our sympathy. "Just the tremendous amount of work I was putting into my family... my world became her world," he went on. "It had to be that way... there came a time when I pulled up the driveway to the home that I found, that I built, that I lived in, and I felt like I was a guest in someone else's life."

In a tersely worded statement Brinkley's attorney responded to news of the interview. "It is a measure of Peter Cook's character that he has breached the confidentiality agreement that is in the divorce settlement and has sought to present this distorted one sided view of his marriage.

"Mr. Cook had his days in court, testified on his own behalf and ultimately agreed with the view of the children’s court appointed attorney and psychiatrist that the children should live principally with their mother and that she should be the sole custodial parent."

Lauren Bacall Is Not a Fan of Tom Cruise

Looks like Tom Cruise can't count Lauren Bacall among his BFFs - the screen legend blasted the actor in an interview with Elle magazine. In an article about Nicole Kidman, Bacall had harsh words for Kidman's ex-husband Cruise.

In the interview Bacall says Kidman was "unhappy" during the filming of 2003's "Dogville" due to her split with Cruise. “Tom had taken off for Penelope Cruz or some g***mn thing — one of his more ridiculous moves,” Bacall remembers

“Tom Cruise is a maniac. I can’t understand the way he conducts his life,” Bacall added.

Looks like these two may need to take it to the mat to settle their differences. My money's on Bacall.

Christie Brinkley, famous supermodel, mom to three kids, many times married and divorced and yet the woman still looks fab at 54! Brinkley recently posed for New York mag and was described as having hair that "is thick and golden, her skin is tanned but only just. Her teeth are gleaming, her waist is narrow." Fifty-four ain't so bad....

Christie gives a glimpse about growing up to become one of the world's top models:

No, I'm not talking about who will come out ahead in the divorce that New Kid on the Block Donnie Wahlberg and his wife just announced yesterday. I'm talking about who won the race to file their divorce papers first. According to TMZ Wahlberg's wife of nine years, Kim Fey, filed her papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, August 13 at 1:29 PT and Wahlberg filed his own divorce papers in Ventura County Superior Court on the very same day - at 3:46 PT.

Kim wins by 2 hours, 17 minutes. If Divorce Paper Filing were an Olympic event, she would have won the gold!

Court papers show that Fey is asking for sole physical and legal custody of their two sons – Xavier, 15 and Elijah, 7 – with visitation rights for NKOTB (for those of you without extensive knowledge of boy bands, that's short for New Kid On The Block) Wahlberg.

Heather Mills' Publicist Comes To Her Senses

Heather Mills alienated half the world when she got shared custody of daughter Beatrice and a crapload of money from Paul McCartney in their divorce and custody dispute. Now she's working on the other half: Michele Elyzabeth, Mills' U.S. rep, quit and has released a statement calling the activist "impossible."

“After working for Heather Mills for the past four years, I have decided to cease representing her. Since her divorce has become final, in my opinion, Heather has become an impossible person,” Elyzabeth said in a statement released to the media.

“Yesterday, we engaged in a heated argument during which she called me ‘stupid.’” Elyzabeth’s statement continued. “I reminded her that she was not ‘God’ and she answered, ‘I will never ever talk to you again.’”

(Note to Beatrice: Never try to tell mommy she's not God.)

Now apparently Elyzabeth is mad as hell and not going to take it any more. “I have been very patient in my dealings with Heather, however, I cannot take any more,” Elyzabeth wrote. “I have given her substantial unpaid time and attention. I am owed money. I refuse to be subjected to her outbursts. On reflection and given the way I have been treated, I now have sympathy with much of what the British press has reported about her.”

Ouch.

Now that the divorce trial of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook is over (Christie gets the kids) let's find out more about the home wrecker who started it all. While she has played herself as a victim who fell under the spell of Cook's wily ways, others are calling her a skanky, goldigging opportunist . Okay, those are my words, but I'm sure it's what everyone is thinking.

Not much is known about Bianchi (who doesn't even have a Wikipedia page) but this much we know: Bianchi was a 17-year-old aspiring singer working in a Southampton toy store when she met Cook. The slimebag offered her a job as his assistant for his architectural firm (no pun intended) and promised to double her salary.

According to Bianchi, the next thing she knew she was naked on his desk. In a 2006 interview she tells how the affair began. "He'd make advances verbally towards me first. It just escalated into something I didn't expect. I never expected that he would take it to a different level."

She was paid $20,000 to type magazine articles onto the company's Web site. He also left her cash payments in various spots: $500 under the rock outside his office; more behind a painting.

It was Bianchi's stepfather who broke the news of the affair to Brinkley, moments before the fashion model was about to speak at the Southampton High School graduation.

Inexplicably, Brinkley made a statement during the recent divorce proceedings that she "forgives Bianchi" because she feels the teen was manipulated into the affair.

A week after it begin, the divorce trial between Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook is officially over, and she is getting the kids.

Brinkley has also been awarded all 18 properties in the Hamptons, but has to pay Peter Cook $2.1 million.

The rest of the settlement was made confidential. Brinkley was seen outside the courtroom, hugging her girlfriends and sobbing.

I'm sure she is relieved it's over, but there's a lot of healing ahead for her.

Christie Brinkley Advised To Undergo Therapy For Anger Issues

A court-appointed psychiatrist has advised that Christie Brinkley attend therapy as "an outlet for her anger and feeling of betrayal" to deal with the pain of her four failed marriages.

Dr. Stephen Herman took the stand in Brinkley's divorce trial and also advised that Brinkley be awarded sole custody of the couple's two children.

"She needs to start working on therapy issues related to her parenting, maybe her choice in male figures with whom to get involved, certain motivations she has herself that can get her into trouble."

Brinkley agreed to seek therapy. She testified, "I'm not sure that I'm a huge fan of psychotherapy. But if Dr. Herman feels strongly about it, I would do whatever it takes to convince the court that I'm willing to make whatever changes they deem necessary."

He said: "Certainly, the father's behaviour in this marriage has been terribly destructive and apparently continues to be... Brinkley had historically been a more stabilising force in the lives of these children... Joint custody is out of the question."

Both Brinkley and Cook are appealing for sole custody of their two kids Jack 13, and Sailor, 10.

In case you haven't heard, Christie Brinkley and cheating husband Peter Cook are trying to scratch each other's eyeballs out in a bitter divorce trial. Brinkley decided to divorce Cook after she found out he was having an affair with his then-assistant Diana Bianchi, who was 19 at the time.

But Brinkley says she forgives Bianchi, telling reporters that she feels Bianchi "was manipulated."

"I'd just like to say after two days of testimony that I can't help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know that I feel really badly for them," said Brinkley. "I feel bad for her and I forgive her completely."

People Magazine is reporting that Bianchi even approached Brinkley's daughter, Alexa Joel, outside the courtroom to apologize.

"Diana said, 'I am sorry for the pain I have caused you and your family,'" a source says. "Alexa then hugged her and said, 'We have all been through a lot.'"

Brinkley isn't so warm and fuzzy when it comes to Cook, though, accusing him of being a chronic philanderer and internet porn addict whose habit reportedly cost the couple $3000 a month.

The court battle is expected to get even more heated when the trial resumes on Monday as the focus shifts to the issue of child custody. Both Brinkley and Cook are seeking sole custody of children Sailor, 10, and Jack, 13.

Gyllenhaal is up for his role in Rendition, and Phillippe for Stop-Loss.

Things could get ugly when the winner is announced, though. I'll think keep my wading pool on standby.

Hey, horny - get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talking about a three-way conversation. Newly-reconciled couple Sean Penn and Robin Wright were spotted chatting with supermodel Petra Nemcova, who Penn reportedly hooked up with after he and Wright split in December.

I wonder if Robin and Sean's little act was just to seem civilized in front of their kids, but when the paparazzi turned away Robin slipped some Ex-Lax into Petra's mai-tai.

Nemcova was hosting an A-list party at Nikki Beach in Cannes to announce her latest project, a documentary about love. Looks like there's a chance of seeing Petra in a three-way after all.

Bitter, table for one! Gwyneth Paltrow, who was engaged to Brad Pitt over ten years ago, obviously wasn’t in the mood for ass-kissing when it came to her ex, who is expecting a child with rumored bride-to-be Angelina Jolie.

Paltrow, at the L.A. premiere on Wednesday for her upcoming film "Iron Man," was asked if she had any well wishes for her former fiancé. Ok! magazine reports that the actress “twisted her mouth and pronounced, ‘No!’”

Actually, I think it’s refreshing. I’m getting a little tired of always hearing celebrities say, “Oh, I wish them well” when asked about former flames. Why not get real and say, “That buffoon? I’m just shocked he got anyone to even kiss his putrid ass, let alone marry him. And tell him I want my Prince LPs and all my expensive art books back.” Uh, not that I personally know anyone I could say that to.

Hell hath no fury like a man who's kids are being pimped out by his good friend. Charlie Sheen, still trying to keep his kids off of ex-wife Denise Richards' reality show, decided to take it to the show's co-producer, his friend Ryan Seacrest.

But apparently Ryan refused to intervene for his friend, insisting that the matter was about business, not friendship. According to the National Enquirer, Charlie didn't take it too well and unleashed a tirade on Ryan.

"How can you allow my children to be used as pawns like this, just so you and Denise can make money off them?...They two of you are despicable! You are scum of the earth, lower than low! And you better watch out, pal. Right now I’m so mad, I could knock your lights out!”

The singer, who is expecting twins with husband Marc Anthony, has reportedly booked the Private Roof Club and Garden at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York for her special event. Invitees include celebrity friends Victoria Beckham, Matthew McConaughey and Katie Holmes. Funny, I don't see Mariah Carey or Irving Azoff anywhere on the guest list.

And Jennifer's friends will be going home with more than just a stomach full of finger-sandwiches and memories of corny shower games: Each guest will receive a Swarovski-encrusted baby pacifier as a party favor.

I wonder if they'll get a Botox bag to put it in?

Or something like that. Reportedly Mariah Carey was asked if she would ever duet with JLo and said, "I'd rather be on stage with a pig - a duet with Jennifer Lopez and me just ain't going to happen." Oh, I guess Mariah isn't a pig, it's JLo who is. I can tell you who I think the oinker is and it's not Jennifer.

Now Mariah is on the defensive and saying that the reports of her and Jennifer Lopez feuding are not true and that she [Mariah] insists that the quote did not, would not come from her. Carey tells PEOPLE that the story is, "a complete untruth." Right, we all know Mariah Carey ~~isn't a diva who thinks she's better than everyone else~~ is a lovely person, so down to earth.

She went on to say: "This is just some Internet group and it's pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real. This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other." *Insert eye rolling here*.

Mariah has a new album coming out in the spring, you know, if you care.

Surprisingly, it's not Heather Mills being tasteless this time. It's no secret that Stella McCartney and Mills can't stand each other. Stella just threw a huge log on the fire by designing a pendant in honour of her former step-mother.

"The necklace was unveiled to fashion industry outsiders in Paris last month," reveals The Daily Mirror. "A source said: 'A lot of people thought it was really edgy while others secretly thought it was out of order. It's such an obvious dig. It will cause a stir when it goes on sale.'"

Hey - Why's Tom Cruise hugging on Victoria Beckham and looking like he wants to bang her? Oh, sorry - that's Katie Holmes, just back from her appointment at Supercuts where she got her new Posh 'do. As for Tom, he's obviously thinking, "Cool. It'll be just like hugging and banging Victoria Beckham!"

Speaking of Posh, the Spice Girls and things inappropriate, it seems that Tom is having trouble scoring tickets to the Spice Girls concert. After trying to call in a favor with Katie's former BFF, he was turned down. "You know what, I phoned Victoria but she said, 'I'm sorry we're sold out." Of course, everyone knows that 'Sold Out' is the new hip euphemism for "Your wife stole my haircut and now you are dead to me."

The dueling W covers of Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have hit the newsstands. Who's cover is selling more? (And you thought results night of Dancing With The Stars was exciting.) And the winner is...

Well, we don't know exactly. But based on Us Magazine's highly scientific research (an online poll whose results are tallied by a drunk intern) Aniston's cover would outsell Jolie's, 53% to 47%.

In a related story, most American males polled said they couldn't give a flying crap whose magazine cover sold more, but wish Jen and Angie would just battle it out in a big tub filled with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

I'd like to be standing behind Brad Pitt at a newsstand when the new issue of W Magazine comes out. Not so I can get an unobstructed view of his ass, but to see which issue he picks up first, the one with Angelina Jolie on the cover or the one with Jennifer Aniston. The mag printed separate editions of its November issue featuring both the future and the ex Mrs. Pitt as cover girls, which should add some fuel to the Team Jolie/Team Aniston debate. And for those who can't make up their minds and purchase both copies, it's an extra five dollars in the pocket of those greedy bastards at W.

It appears estranged parents are the newest fashion accessory. The past few weeks have seen Lindsay Lohan and her dad hugging it out at her rehab center, Britney Spears laying her bald head on mom Lynne's shoulder, and now Angelina Jolie appears to be taking dad Jon Voight out of exile. Voight was seen leaving New York's Waldorf Astoria hotel on Sunday, the same hotel where daughter Angelina is staying with her family. Jolie has not spoken to her father since 2001, when he suggested in a TV interview that his daughter was mentally ill.

Family reunion? Or was daddy stalking Angie with the rest of the paparazzi, trying to get a money shot of Angie taking Maddox to school? I vote for the latter, seeing as Voight's IMDB page lists his most recent role as that of 'Principal Dimly' in that cinematic masterpiece, Bratz.

Victoria Beckham is calling Eddie Murphy "Beverly Hills C*ck." Oh, and she wants to cut off his penis, too. The Spicy Girl is hatin' on Murphy for dumping her fellow bandmate Melanie Brown while she was pregnant with his child. The Norbit star questioned the baby's paternity and then failed to contact Mel B after DNA tests proved that he was indeed the daddy.

Posh's tirade is seen in footage from her upcoming reality show, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America. In it she says of Murphy, "I'd spit on his food, definitely. I'd chop his d**k off, too."

Hey Eddie - in the future, might want to stay away from the Spice rack.

Julia Roberts to In-Laws: Go Back to Your Trailer

Drunken brawls, feuding families, desperate ultimatums - not just for us hillbillies anymore! Big famous star Julia Roberts is battling with husband Danny Moder's plain old, ordinary family over what she feels is their failure to fit into her life. She's made it clear to them that until they seek counseling to fix their dysfunctional selves they'll be banned from seeing her and Moder's newborn son, Henry Daniel. Roberts has an especially combative relationship with Moders sister who has battled alcoholism for years. Oh, and the Moders are pissed that Julia up and stole Danny away from his first wife.

I'd like to know a little bit more about the inside story before I decide which side to take - the Hatfields or the McCoys. Did the Moders not like the Dolce and Gabbana coats that Julia sent over? Did the Moders steal some silverware on their last visit? Stay tuned - the pig's gonna squeal soon.
