Ali Landry Talks Baby Style

Actress, model, and former Miss USA Ali Landry poses here with husband Alejandro Monteverde and her 16-month-old daughter Estela Innes for the Hollywood Christmas Celebration at The Grove. The fam helped kick off the holiday season, lighting the giant Christmas tree, singing yuletide carols, and building snowmen. OK, no snowmen in Los Angeles, but the spirit was there.

Estela was all dressed up in a pretty gold dress, a nice sweater coat, a bow...the whole nine yards. The husband? Not so much. But Ali just loves the classic style when it comes to dressing her baby.

"I'm a bargain shopper extraordinaire," says Ali. "We’re talking $20 for the shoes. For my baby I do not go cheap chic. I fly to Louisiana and buy all her clothes there, because I am very much classic, traditional for Estela. When we're out and about people are like, ‘Oh, it’s a baptism. Oh, it's a party.’ I'm like, ‘No, we dress her like this every day.’"

"I put her in bonnets till just a few weeks ago and she wears the shoes, little socks with the ruffles, a bow in her hair. She’s always completely dressed and very classic baby. I refuse to do trendy. Babies - in my opinion - should not be trendy. They’re a baby for a very short amount of time; they should look like a baby. Now she’s 16 months and she wears dresses; I never put her in a pair of pants ever."

Geez, that's a lot of pressure for a baby, always having to look pretty and everything. I hardly ever wear dresses any more, myself.

Anthony Kiedis is in full 'dad mode' at the Christmas tree lot with his girlfriend Heather and their baby boy Everly Bear. How L.A. is this picture? You've got your shorts in December, the Crocs, the Uggs, the skullcap- because it's winter, and a cellphone appendage. Ah, Christmas in SoCal.

So, what's up with that bump in Athony's shirt were his abs used to be? It must be a dad thing because one showed up in my shirt not to long ago, right where I was going to put my abs some day.

Any old playmate can have a camel toe, it takes a real pro to get the whole foot, or feet as the case may be. She looks like she just stepped out of Narnia.

Shauna Sand of the Lorenzo Llamas Sands, visited the tree lot and found a great round one. Her daughters look thrilled.

Johnny Depp in The Night Before Christmas

Are you curious how Johnny Depp spends Christmas? I'll give you a hint, it's much more traditional than his friend Tim Burton.

Actually, he celebrates it the same way I do.

Says Depp when asked about his plans for Christmas, “Hanging out with the kiddies. Wait for Santa Claus.” (see video)

Man, it's amazing how much Johnny Depp and I have in common.

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter: The Nightmare During Christmas

Tim Burton, the mastermind behind such hits as Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hallow, The Nightmare Before Christmas and the upcoming Sweeney Todd (not to mention at least two movies he has agreed to make for Disney) has a bit of the camp about him. The guy is a big kid with a twist of goth and tons of genius. His girlfriend/baby mama Helena Bonham Carter thinks it's great (so do I).

The couple, who have one child (Billy Ray- not Cyrus) are expecting number two later this month. In the meantime they have been decorating their house, which is actually two separate but now attached homes, for the Christmas season. As you might imagine, there is a twist. Take the tree for instance:

"He decorates it with dead babies and slime balls and things," Carter tells Playboy (via People) in its January issue. "It looks lovely and glittery from afar, and then as you get closer, you realize it's rather gory.

"We're not that dark. What I love about Tim is that he retains a certain innocence and a childlike quality. He sort of forgot to grow up. I think I've definitely forgotten to grow up, which is great."

I wonder if they get Danny Elfman to sing them carols.
