Famous Moms Tell All in The Little Black Book

A-List celebrity moms are telling all about their family lives in a new tell-all book "The Black Book of Hollywood Pregnancy Secrets," due out in March, 2009. Maybe you've heard of a few of these people: Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Tina Fey? They're all in the book and they're talking about living in the spotlight, enjoying holidays, and even living life as a single celebrity mom.

Authors Kym Douglas and Cindy Pearlman say that Kate Hudson finds it very hard dating as a single mom to 5-year-old son, Ryder. "I do find it tough to date," Kate says. "I'd rather be at home with my son cooking dinner than going out with a guy. My son is my man."

Angelina Jolie recalls one Halloween with Brad Pitt and her children. "We were in India and Brad and the kids and I had an off celebration in the hotel we were staying at. We had candy sent up, which we said was from the saints." Um, yeah, because the saints are all about the Halloween candy.

Tina Fey says, "I don't care how many magazine covers you're on. When you're chasing a three-year-old around with a pull-up diaper hoping she won't poop on the floor, you're just like every other mom on the planet."

Helena Bonham Carter, actress and wife of awesome director Tim Burton, says she got quite snippy about her vices during her pregnancy. Helena, 42, has two kids with Tim - son Billy, 5, and daughter Nell, 13 months. She was often yelled at for drinking coffee while preggers.

Whenever someone slammed her for the caffeine intake, she'd say, "You try nine months of gestation and self-abnegation before you start censoring my diet. Your mother was probably on vodka, and do you have three heads?" Wow, way to make a guy look up a word in the dictionary.

If the book is even half as amusing as some of these quotes it'll be worth every penny.

With the release of her new movie, Resident Evil: Extinction, Milla Jovovich is in the news and happily chatting with reporters, even though she is nine months pregnant. Everyone would understand if she wanted to hang out at home with her feet up, the remote control in one hand and Haagen Dazs in the other. But Milla's trooper, and charming to boot.

In an interview with Cindy Pearlman of the Chicago Sun Times, Milla dishes about pregnancy weight (she's gone from 130 to 193 lbs!), doing stunts in the movie, and how working out before getting pregnant has helped her manage. You can practically hear that smile she always has in pictures while reading the interview. I'm not a big video game person, but I might go see this movie just because I've gotten to like Milla so much while covering her pregnancy.
