Last weekend they had the premiere at Disney's El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and Camryn Manheim (who looks great) took her son Milo (who looks happy).

The movie looks awesome.

American Eagle has partnered with Plant-It 2020 to plant a tree for every order placed today (Earth Day, duh).

Sean Astin rolled up to the premiere of Disneynature's Earth with the whole family: his wife Christine, and daughters Alexandra, 16, Elizabeth, 6 and 1/2, and Isabella, 3 and 1/2. Are you making plans to catch an Earth Day screening tomorrow?

If you're looking for an simple, family-friendly way to be apart of the Earth Day action tomorrow, but you don't feel like chaining your family to a tree in an old-growth forest, Earth is pretty much a no-brainer. Sure, all the celebrity parents are checking it out, but there's more motivation to seeing Earth this week than just being like an annoying eco-celebrity.

For each ticket sold during the first weekend of Disneynature's inaugural production, Disney will plant a tree. Apparently, they've already sold about half a million advance tickets. That means 500,000 trees are already due to be planted in Brazil's Atlantic Forest. The more people who go, the more trees get planted.

If Earth is even 1/10th as good as something like the Planet Earth series, then it should be a pretty awesome flick to watch on the big screen. Just a thought.

Every day is Earth Day if you mean it, but today is the day with all of the activities. Go partake, but wipe your carbon footprint before you track it all over the place.

There are a lot of stars that promote a cleaner, healthier planet, and I wouldn't claim that Jack Johnson is doing the most, but he might be. I do know that he cares about what he's leaving for our collective children. Check out the video (Curious George soundtrack) below and do your part:

What's with Madonna and all these creepy black outfits that she's wearing on the covers of the 'Green Issue!' editions of what seems to be every freaking magazine on the newstand these days? I mean, is she in mourning for the Earth? Is she supposed to be Mother Earth, The Creepy Old Widow? Or some scary faux-Brit nanny who you just know whips the kids before she puts them to bed (in which case, what does that have to do with being green)? ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I'm, like, totally missing the symbolism here again, aren't I?

(And, um? Photoshopped much? No-one's waist is narrower than their head.)

Seriously. Why does she keep putting on those fugly skimpy leotards and trying to be Rihanna? I mean, come on. She's, like, almost fifty or something, isn't she? Which makes her a bit more like a Earth Grandmother than Earth Mother, so why not put on a robe or something?

Not that she's really pulling of the whole Earth-protectress thing anyway. Not in an S&M-inspired leotard and stripper boots. It looks like she's going to dry-hump that stone image of the Earth any second. Isn't that the supposed to be the 'Green' issue of VF? Why, then, does it look like Madonna's getting ready to rape the Earth? Or is that, like, what they call symbolism?

Here is a clip from The View in which nobody knows what the hell they are talking about. Why don't they call it The Obstructed View? I was hoping to make fun of Elisabeth or Sherri, the usual suspects, but Whoopi swooped in to say the dumbest thing. Way to go, Whoopi.

Sherri Shepherd Shouldn't Homeschool

If you watch The View as religiously as I do then you know that Sherri Shepherd isn't exactly the sharpest bulb in the burrito. First she didn't know whether or not the world was round (yes, the one we live on), and then lately she was doing some crazy photoshopping with her tongue to the historical time-line of this flat planet.

I'm not sure why she's even on the program. She should be on a reality show with Jessica Simpson. I bet Jessica knows the difference between flat and round.

BTW, the sweet little boy is Sherri's son Jeffery. We should all chip in now and get the kid a set of encyclopedias. I feel like we owe him.

Red Hot Chili Pepper frontman Anthony Kiedis and his girlfriend Heather Christie had their son, born October 2, 2007, in Los Angeles. They named the baby Everly Bear. Here is the story behind the name:

According to People, Kiedis says, "We had a long list of names, but I suppose it came to me by way of the Everly Brothers, which is one of my favorite bands, and sometimes last names make good first names."

Kiedis credits his girlfriend with the rest. "The mama came up with Bear, that made sense to me because he's from me and I feel like I'm part of the bear clan, and I think it's nice to have a little bit of earth in your name."

"Being a father is different, it's much different," Kiedis says. "I sleep when I can, but he's letting me off pretty easy so far. He's a very calm and peaceful kid."

It's hard to imagine anything Kiedis being calm, what with the blood, sex, sugar an magic in the veins, must be the mother's milk. Yes, I went there.
