Ethan Hawke Is Possibly Out Of His Mind

It's no secret that Ethan Hawke was "busy" with the hired help - his kids' nanny, Ryan Shawhughes - who now, is pregnant with his child. Oh ya, uh, this happened (the affair, not the pregnancy) while he was still married to Uma Thurman. The "nanny incident" came shortly after another alleged affair with aspiring model Jen Perzow. Of course Ethan denies it, however Uma alluded to there being infidelity in their marriage and described her divorce as "excrucitating" when discussing it in interviews and the pair don't get along even though they share custody of two kids - Maya Ray,9, and Levon Roan, 6.

Now it seems, that Hawke is either not over his ex-wife or he's just an ass - could be a bit of both. He recently "performed" on stage, in front of an audience and it wasn't pretty.

He proceeded to sing a ditty that included lyrics about "not caring if [he] ever saw New York again," "the lawyers," and — most telling — "my wife." Uma! "My wife hates me," he sang, adding something about how she would call him a prick, how he longed to send for his children, tralalala singing stuff. We were intoxicated, both with beverages and with memories of Dead Poets Society. And then! "My wife is a big fat beast," he sang. We gasped, along with the rest of the audience. He called Uma fat! In public! Sheepishly, Hawke broke his musicianly stride: "Yeah, I was very upset at the time." And still is, we suspect.

"My wife is a big fat beast?" Hmm, Ethan had better take a good look at himself because I'm pretty sure his ex isn't fat nor is she a beast - he's the one who cheated on her. At least twice.

Perhaps he should get over it and grow up and concentrate on setting a good example for his two children. Just a thought.

Well, they don't look as though they're exactly thrilled to be hanging out together, but at least Uma and Ethan look like they're being perfectly civil as they meet at their kids' school.

I guess it helps that Ethan left the nanny that he sperminated at home.

Wow. Ethan Hawke looks further along in this picture than does his pregnant girlfriend (and former nanny).

How far along would you say that he is? Ten weeks? Thirty frappuccinos? Dude needs to diet, or get a better stylist.

Who - WHO, I ask - takes up with the nanny when the mother of their children is Uma Thurman? Oh, right - Ethan facking Hawke.

Like he didn't show enough poor judgment in having that alleged affair while married to Uma 'Don't Hate Me 'Cause I'm Beautiful And Oh Yeah Also Smart' Thurman; now we learn that he's been cozied up to his kids' nanny (all right, former nanny) for over two years. Nice. That's, like, every woman-with-children's romantic nightmare: not only does your ex end up with someone else, but that someone else has had the affections of your children as well. Double burn. We all flinch, collectively, when we hear about it. It's why the women of the world turned on Jude Law before he started balding: only the creepiest cad takes up with Mary Poppins. I don't care if she wears a thong and is super-cute and you already lost your wife because you cheated with an extra on some straight-to-video movie that you shot in Canada. It's just wrong. Anyone who works with your kids is off-limits.

Uma's too gorgeous and successful to care, I imagine. (I say this even though her last movie was what? My Super Ex-Girlfriend? Sad, but still. She's Uma. She's the white girl's flat-chested Salma Hayek. Who cares what movies she makes?) Where was I? Right. Uma. She probably doesn't care - I'm sure she forgot about Ethan about six weeks before they split up, like, a hundred years ago - but for what it's worth: Uma, if you're reading, know this - I will never rent Before Sunrise again. Solidarity, sister.

(And before all you rabid Ethan Hawke fans leave nasty comments about this: I know that he and Uma are broken up. I don't care. It's still creepy.)
