What on earth was that reporter thinking? He/she thought he/she could actually check Brooke Shields mom out of her nursing home and no one would find out about it?

How scary this situation must be for Ms. Shields. Not only does someone call you because your mother is missing, but they call you and let you know a reporter checked her out.

I guess they journalist was chatting to Mrs. Shields to get info, any info that they could use.

How underhanded is that?

Brooke said, "I intend to take every lawful action against all who were involved or who authorized this despicable act." She should too, it's in the best interests of her family.

Her poor mommy.

Kiefer Sutherland and Brooke Shields are squaring off over an incident that happened last night when leaving the Met Gala party they attended.

"We're told witnesses say the alleged victim -- Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough -- allegedly knocked Brooke Shields over and Kiefer saw it happen. The witnesses say Kiefer went over to the man and told him to apologize to her. At that point they say McCollough pushed Kiefer and the actor responded with a headbutt.
Complicating it for Kiefer -- he's on probation in L.A. for a DUI, and one of the terms is that he obey all laws. No word on whether L.A. prosecutors will pursue the matter."

Now Brooke is saying that Jack McCullough didn't do anything to her that warranted the head butt.

Oi, can we not go out of the house anymore? Was Kiefer channeling his inner Jack Bauer?

Also, is that officer really tall or standing on a step, because Kiefer looks really short next to him?

As we told you, golf champion Tiger Woods and wife Elin welcomed their second child - a son - on Sunday, February 8. Tiger posted a message, releasing their new baby's name and a personal thank you to fans.

Message from Tiger's official website:

Elin and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son, Charlie Axel Woods, who was born on February 8, 2009. Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts. Sam is very excited to be a big sister and we feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. I also want to thank our doctors, nurses and the hospital staff for their personal and professional care. We look forward to introducing Charlie to you at the appropriate time, and again thanks from all of us for your kindness and support.

One of my favorite times of the day is story time. Is it your or just your kid's?

It's one of Adam Sandler's favorite time of the day as well.

He said, “I like to dress up as the lead character in whatever story I am reading. This is a little weird because my daughter loves the Disney princesses. But you’d be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown. I hold the storybook and make up my own stories with the characters. This backfired when my daughter started watching movies and realized that Cinderella didn’t drive for NASCAR.”

We like sing song stories here at my house. We don't quite act everything out but it's a really good idea. Though my boys would probably just be wound up after a theatre production.

I know this picture is old, but I couldn't resist, because it's so cute.

Okay, this is the weirdest thing I've heard of in a while. Tom Cruise is setting up a special ceremony to join his family with the Beckham family.

Sources say, “Tom and David have been friends for years and they and their families spend a lot of time together. This year Tom wanted to make a special gesture that would show how much he appreciates their friendship and he thought this would be the perfect way.”

I had no idea that was possible, I didn't know that you could marry your friends. The joining is supposed to be a Thanksgiving present. Would you accept that kind of gift? I guess it would depend on the friends for me.
I don' know what the joining will consist of or what it would mean for the families and their futures.

It's kind of creepy.

Brooke Shields and her daughters look beautiful in the latest issue of Cookie Magazine. Brooke says that she is exhausted from filming Lipstick Jungle and has a hard time fitting in time to work out.

She still had time to sit in a makeup and hair chair and get all dolled up for this photo shoot.

It’s a line her character on Lipstick Jungle, now in its second season on NBC, might say. Shields plays Wendy Healy, a woman juggling a movie-producing career, a marriage, and two kids. Shields can relate. She typically shoots for 14 hours straight, often over nights and weekends. How do Brooke Shields and her husband Chris Henchy spend their date nights? Are they just like us? Do they head out to the local Chili's for dinner and movie?

No, of course they don't do the mundane. They indulge in the thrillingly violent sport of boxing. So, I don't think it's thrilling but there are those out there that do.

I've never been a fan of boxing, it's not my cup of tea, but I m a fan of date nights. She said, "We love to go to boxing matches. We also love to cook in the house and have people over, then we can have the kids with us."

Oh, that's sweet. I don't know about you but I prefer my date nights with a little less blood, sweat and tears.

Today it was Ben's turn to take Violet to pre-school.

I think Violet and my youngest son should have a play date. They are the same age and both as cute as a button. In fact, I don't know if Violet Affleck can get any cuter. Everyday we see a new picture of her with Jen or Ben and we see that she's growing up before our very eyes.

I hope that her parents are keeping a scrapbook of all the photos that appear in the papers and magazines, because you know they are missing some of these moments.

Brooke Shields confessed to acting like a crazy person to get a cabbie to take her where she wanted to go.

She said that the cab driver couldn't understand her and where she wanted to go and she was in a rush to get to a function. She tried to show him the address on her iphone and he, " shoved my hand back and said, ' You get outta my cab, you f*king crazy person.'"

Brooke said that she continued to talk like a crazy person and refused to leave the cab. She also said that, "he kept jamming to slap me up against the plastic (glass behind him) but because I'm strong and I'm a New Yorker, I grabbed on."

She said that when they arrived she gave him a huge tip but didn't shut the door and that caused a new kerfuffle and a cop got involved, she thought that she was going to be arrested.

Shhh...Don't tell Tom Cruise.

Comedian and actor Adam Sandler is daddy to Sadie, 2, and the 42-year-old actor is going to be living in a house with all girls now that he and his wife Jackie are having a second daughter.....

Adam spoke to The Insider at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's 34th Annual Dinner of Champions and he spoke about his wife's pregnancy.

"She is, yeah. She's big right now." Adam said they are having another girl.

"A chickadee. Hopefully everything's safe with her. Not born yet, so we're just praying everything comes out okay."

Adam and Jackie will welcome their new girl in October.

Adam and Sadie were spotted running out together, there's nothing like a little father/daughter time to let mommy have some alone time. *sigh*.

She's in her pajamas and he's in sweats, did they run out to satisfy a sweet tooth, did they need toilet paper? Will she grow up to be a daddy's girl? Did he get that shirt for Fathers Day?

So many questions and I don't have any answers, all I have is a picture.

It's nice to see that Adam Sandler isn't too proud to wear a shirt with a picture of his family on it.

Ben Affleck doesn't care if he gets outnumbered when his and Jennifer's second baby is born.

He was texting back and forth with Matt Damon who commented on being outnumbered by the birth of his second daughter.

Ben had the grace to say that he doesn't have a preference of the sex of his second child. He says that a healthy baby is the thing that matters most.

Of course, a healthy baby is what all expectant parents want and I hope that for them as well, and I secretly hope they have a boy.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are having marriage troubles. Oh no, what happened?

Life &Style Weeky magazine reported that there is trouble brewing in the Curise-Holmes house but that it's normal troubles, you know the kind that we have on a day to day basis but no one really knows about because we don't have people watching our every move. Tom and Katie are really having to work at their marriage to "make it work".

Have you ever noticed those couples that have the attractive man and the very harried wife? You know she's harried because she does all the work and the husband takes all the credit, that's Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in a nutshell in my humble opinion though Katie doesn't look as harried, how can you when you are a gazillionaire. Tom is at the point in his life where he can stroll trough it and be fine and Katie is trying ot make it on her own. She's flew across the country for a weekend visit to go to Tom's premier while still on New York Time and is wearing herself too thin. She's rehearsing non stop for the off-Broadway production and she's being a great mom to Suri spending lots of time playing with her and she's tired all the time, she's never going to get pregnant again if she keeps up this pace.

An insider was quoted as saying, "Right now their lives are divided. Their relationship isn't on shaky ground, but things definitely aren't perfect."

Ben Affleck is All Growns Up

Ben Affleck gives us a little glimpse into the man he has become.

Ben, during his speech at a charity gala in Calgary, had this to say about himself. He said that his trips to Africa had him re-evaluating his existence and that he realized how little he had done with his life and how shallow he had been. Good for him. He was there to honor those at the gala that helped make a difference and raise money for the children's hospital.

Thank goodness he finally realized that he was only showing us just a thin veneer of who he really could be. I never really liked Ben Affleck before now, I chose Matt Damon out of the pair. I think Jennifer Garner is the best thing that could have ever happened to him and it made it open his eyes and realize that he needed to change and not be so greasy.(pronounce with a z)

I didn't recognize Brooke Shields from this picture, and I would never have know it was her if not for the caption saying it was her. She and her husband Chris Henchy and their daughters Rowan and Grier spent Fathers Day together and were nice enough to pose for a picture while they were out and about.

Winner of the U.S. Open, Tiger Woods, hugged his daughter, held up his trophy (for the third time no less!), said he didn't feel like playing golf anymore. "I'm glad I'm done. I'm done." What does that actually mean? Is he done for a few weeks, a few months or is he hanging up his golf clubs forever?

"I'm glad I'm done. I'm done." So much can be read into that statement, and it's hard for anyone to know what the 32-year-old pro is thinking, unless he tells us. Does he mean he'll play in The Buick Open in 2 weeks time?

Or perhaps he'll swing those clubs at The AT&T National in July? Maybe he'll be on the green in five weeks at The British Open? Hmm.

It's a very real possibility that he's packing away the golf gear and maybe the only clubs he'll be swinging are at minigolf with his daughter Sam Alexis.

Perhaps it has something to do with the arthroscopic surgery he had on his left knee. Maybe he's sick of golf? Maybe he wants to lay low and spend the rest of his days (I mean really, he's going to be 33 soon! Old!) lazing around, enjoying his wife and young daughter. Maybe he wants to make more babies?

Or maybe he'll be back, better than ever, you just never know. Regardless, congrats on your win!

BREAKING NEWS: Tiger Woods Wins U.S. Open

Tiger Woods just beat Rocco Mediate in a sudden death playoff to win the U.S. Open. Woods won on the 19th playoff hole at Torrey Pines to win his 14th major.

Woods was joined after his victory by wife Elin and daughter Sam Alexis who will celebrate her first birthday on Wednesday. This past Sunday was the first Father's Day for Woods, whose daughter was born last year the day after Father's Day. Woods credits his daughter with helping him to recover from arthroscopic surgery on his knee that had him out of the game for two months.

Congratulations to Tiger! And Happy (early) Birthday to Sam Alexis!
