Coachella Lineup to Include FameCrawler Favorites

The lineup for the Coachella music festival was announced today and we like it (well, some of it). Some of our favorite celebrity parents are on the bill, most notably Paul McCartney and Brandon Flowers of the Killers. No word on whether Dave Grohl will be backing McCartney on drums as he is scheduled to do for the Grammys.

Also performing will be Leonard Cohen! Hello!

According to Yahoo, "McCartney will be making his maiden American festival appearance at the event. "I have heard that Coachella is one of the greatest festivals in the world," he said in a statement. "I'm really excited to get out there and rock!""

I assume by greatest he meant hottest. Indio doesn't mess around.

Tilda Swinton Founds Freaky Film Festival

Now I've heard everything. Well maybe not when it comes to Tilda Swinton.

The Narnia actress is starting a small festival in her hometown of Nairn in north-east Scotland. She's named the bizarre festival "The Ballerina Ballroom Cinema of Dreams." Tickets to films will cost $6 or a tray of baked goods, and everyone will sit on beanbags to take in "films with highly coloured, dreamlike elements," according to the Guardian.

Part of the impetus behind the festival is Swinton and [co-organiser Mark] Cousins' idea that "Money dictates the festival circuit too much, and fogs the pure, romantic obsession with film." He added: "There are too many film festivals all trying to do the same kind of thing - what is there if you pare away all the frocks and the fuss? It amuses me that Tilda Swinton, who has been up all the red carpets, wants to do this - there's a degree of punk about it."

The festival will run from August 15 to the 23rd. Who will she bring? Her husband, her lover and/or her kids?

I wish I lived closer.

Julianne Moore Is A Torn Working Mom

Just like many of us working parents, Julianne Moore was quite upset when she couldn't make it to a school trip with her daughter. Instead, she was committed to a press day for her new film "Savage Grace."

"She was very upset that I couldn't come," says Moore. She explains that the trip had been postponed a day, but because she was committed to this press day, she was missing out. All she could think about was her daughter at the zoo.

She's definitely nothing like her character in Savage Grace. From IMDB: The true story of the beautiful and charismatic Barbara Daly, who married above her class to Brooks Baekeland, heir to the Bakelite plastics fortune. Their only child is a failure in his father's eyes, and as he matures and becomes increasingly close to his lonely mother, the seeds for tragedy are sown.

She does her best though. Living in New York helps since a lotcan be done close to home.

"I feel pretty good right now because I've just finished a job, so I can take some time off as the kids wrap up the school year," says Moore, who is married to filmmaker Bart Freundlich ("Trust the Man").

"I'm happy to be home, planting stuff in my garden," she adds. "New York really is the best place in the world to live. Every time I go away, I'm always happy to come back."
