Madonna And Jesus - Committed For Now, HUH?

So Madonna and Jesus Luz had some sort of Kabbalah commitment ceremony.

What did they commit to? I have no idea, since Jesus said he doesn't have plans to marry Madonna.

I know you don't have to be married to have a committed relationship, just look at the latest Prop 8 ruling in California. But it's nice to have some sort of future plans, especially when as young as he is.

I guess they could be committed to having as much fun as possible while together, but doesn't that cheapen the whole ceremony?

Jesus said, "Madonna is beautiful, a person full of positive energy, with no visible faults. I found her marvelous. Her personality also impressed me. I cannot say anything more than I don't have plans of marrying her. I can't say if she is the woman in my life."

Wait, was it to Arkham that were you committed too?

Trust Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi With Your Children

According to a poll on ParentDish.com of 10,000 moms (sorry dads, nobody cares what you think- still) Ellen and her wife Portia de Rossi are the top pick for celebrity babysitters.

The fact that the couple does not have children of their own didn't deter moms from feeling comfortable with their child-rearing potential. They received 31% of the votes followed by another star sans child, Jennifer Aniston, who received 22%. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came in third with 18% and Oprah finished with just 9%. However, and this is just my opinion, I think Oprah is more likely to buy everyone involved a car, so there's that.

What do you think about these results? What celebrity would you consider leaving your child with (not forever, Madonna- sorry)?

Did the Jolie-Pitt family begin because Brad believed he was married to a lesbian?

The root cause leading to the baby making/adopting enterprise that is Brangelina (soon to be a family of 9) began as Brad suspected that his wife Jennifer Aniston was gay. As unbelievable as it sounds, that's the rumor that Toni -- reportedly a friend of Angelina's -- is spreading.

"Brad likes to have sex a lot and Jennifer never wanted to sleep with him,” Toni allegedly said in an interview with Ian last week.

“He started to speculate that she was gay, though he never caught her with another woman or anything like that. He was very frustrated for a long time. Then he met Angelina, who is insatiable in bed, and the rest is history….He really did love Jen but she just wasn’t fulfilling his needs.”

Apparently, Brad felt that being married to a lesbian just wasn't going to work for him. That's not to say that Brad is some kind of homophobe.

In fact, he and Angie have stated that they won't marry until "everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able." How does Toni reconcile Jen's latest romance? And Jen's quest to find a sperm donor? Her explanation is classic:

“I don’t really know Jen and I found it hard to believe she swings both ways. When Brad confided his suspicions, I told him, ‘no way!’ But when she started dating John Mayer, I thought hey maybe there is something to Brad’s theory.”

“Everybody knows that Mayer is gay,” she laughed. “Not a big secret. I can see the appeal of him hooking up with Jennifer but what does she have to gain by dating him if she’s straight?”

Uh huh. Well, I guess there's really no way to confirm this kind of thing. Do you think Aniston's a secret lesbian?

Elton John & Partner David Furnish To Be Dads?

Singer Elton John, 62, and his partner David Furnish, 46 - who have been together for nearly 16 years, and were joined in a civil partnership in 2005 - are godparents to 10 children. Would the couple ever consider having children of their own?

Probably not. They are content with their lives and they're both really busy.

David said to PEOPLE, "I don't think our lives are suited to raising children. We're busy flying places all the time.

"Elton is not really going to come off the road. We don't want to put the raising of children into the hands of nannies and housekeepers. We want to be active parents. We have godchildren [and] kids that we support in Africa, so we're fine."

Elton and John are godfathers to the children of Victoria & David Beckham and actress Elizabeth Hurley.

Here we were, getting our hopes up that Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres were going to have a baby and Porti de Rossi had to go and dash them all to, well, the place hopes go when they've been dashed.

Portia released a statement, "There’s a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth. (The IVF story) was just completely made up. The baby thing comes around annually. I find once a year, you know, whether I deny it or not. It doesn’t make any difference."

Way to go Portia, now we have to find someone else to live vicariously through.

Ellen Has A Baby Craving

Ellen Degeneres wants to have a baby. She says that she gets all mushy and her biological starts ticking away when she watches GAP commercials during the holidays.

“When I see those print ads that have the babies in them for Gap, maybe that’s cute that you have a little Gap knit sweater on the head, little Gap outfit,” she [says]. “They advertise kids very well, those Gap ads. I don’t even look at the clothes — I just go, ‘That’s a cute baby, I’ll take that one.’ ”

“I think that is one of the things about not being able to just accidentally get pregnant and have a child. You really, really have to want one, whether it’s trying to figure out how you get pregnant or if you adopt. I think that’s even more of a reason that people that aren’t able to have kids should be allowed to adopt because you have to really want a kid, and that’s a big responsibility. So we are not taking it lightly. We would really think about it before we did it.”

The girls are going about this correctly. Adopting a baby is a big decision and one that shouldn't be made lightly.

Rosie O'Donnell Headed for the Big Time on NBC

Guess who is coming to NBC prime time come November? OK, the headline gave it away. Rosie O'Donnell has a deal with the Peacock network for a Thanksgiving special, says Michael Ausiello. It's going to be an hour variety show, possibly a pilot for a series, and it'll be called "The Man Show." What? That's been done? Oh, sorry, it'll be called "Rosie's Variety Hour."

Rosie described the show: "Old time variety, live from New York with a nod to Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett, and memories of Sonny and Cher." I hear she's going to do lots of giveaways, too, just like on her old show. This time she'll be giving out complimentary barf bags.

Can't wait.

Seriously. I'm setting my Tivo already.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi just tied the knot last weekend, but are the couple already preparing for the pitter patter of little feet?

"We go back and forth," de Rossi, says about the couple's plan to have children. "I don't know if it's our immediate future. It's something we talk about every few months."

"It's something we would never take lightly and just say, 'That would be fun.' It's a lot of work and we recognize that," says DeGeneres. "In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it."

Ellen adds, "If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina's kids, we might."

Hey Brad, if you haven't given Ellen and Portia a wedding gift yet, how about sending over a little something in a cup?

Who Will The Westboro Baptists Hate On Next? Nobel Laureates?

Once they're done hating on the dead, I'm guessing that the freakishly evil Westboro Baptists are going to after Al Gore. The former Vice President and Nobel Laureate recently made a speech in support of gay marriage. A video of him openly announcing his endorsement was posted on his website Current TV. The video was titled, "Gay men and women should have the same rights." This represents a change from his stated position on gay marriage during his presidential candidacy in 2000, which was that he was against "changing the institution of marriage as it is presently understood - between a man and a woman," but it's a very, very welcome change.

"I think that gay men and women ought to have the same rights as heterosexual men and women, to make contracts, to have hospital visiting rights and to join together in marriage," Gore announced. "And I don't understand why it is considered by some people to be a threat to heterosexual marriage to allow it by gays and lesbians."

"Shouldn't we be promoting that kind of faithfulness and loyalty to one's partner regardless of sexual orientation?"

We absolutely should. Somebody should tell the Westboro Baptists that, though, before they march to New York and protest Heath Ledger's funeral and thereby secure their place in a fiery, fiery hell ruled over by Westboro-Baptist-hating demons who will defile them with their own hate-spewing placards.
