Heather Locklear Doing Well, But Misses Daughter Ava

Heather Locklear is doing really well in rehab, despite looking tired and pale last week. She is finding the hardest part is missing her 10 year old daughter, Ava.

"The hardest part of all of this is being apart from Ava," says one Locklear friend. "But she knows she'll be better than ever, and that they'll both really benefit from this. She's feeling better, but it's tough."

Richie Sambora has been lucky enough to get some time off from teh Bon Jovi tour to hang out with his daughter, who has been "with family and continuing on with her summer plans," says the source.

"Heather's really happy that Ava got to spend time with her dad," says her pal, and Richie and Heather are "are speaking all the time."

Richie has been very supportive, as he said he would be.

Says the source: "They really have come through [the breakup – and are] on the other side."

Richie Sambora Stands Behind Ex-Wife Heather Locklear

In a valiant effort to be supportive, Richie Sambora made it known last night that he would be there for ex-wife Heather Locklear, who entered rehab earlier this week: "Without a doubt, he's there for his daughter and her mother. They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much."

And despite being on the road touring with his band Bon Jovi until July, Sambora's pal insists the star will be there for Locklear if she needs him.

The source adds, "I'm sure he's available if Heather should need something and certainly for Ava."

Sounds like a Curious George title, no? Curious George Heads to Rehab. I just imagine Heather, Curious George and The Man With The Yellow Hat heading into a stark white building to cleanse Heather of her alcohol and George getting into serious trouble with a cart of bandaids and methadone. The Man With The Yellow Hat is so irresponsible -- he ALWAYS leaves George alone for some stupid reason and that damn monkey gets into trouble all the time. I mean really, where DOES that Man go? I think he peddles geriatric porn. But that's just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Oh right. Heather Locklear. You want to know what's wrong with her?

I'll tell you what's wrong with her. She got left with that stupid little monkey and he force fed her something that made her go all gangsta.

Locklear’s publicist told press, “Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment.”

And understandably, she’s hoping to keep the matter under the radar. “This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released,” said her rep.

Quite frankly, it's all so very sad. I really like HL. I hope she gets the help she needs.

Heather Locklear's pupils were looking a wee bit dilated in these photos from last night, while leaving CoCo de Ville in Hollywood.

She flashed the paps with some white girl hand gestures a la Miley Cyrus (PEACE Y'ALL!), and stared at cameras with doe-eyes that brought the LOLZ. Hopefully her kids don't see Mommy this way! Enjoy!
