Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda Rose strolled the streets of Brooklyn with a friend early on Mother's Day and later stopped to play at the park. By the look on little Matilda's face, I'd say she's telling the paps to bring it. She's too cute for words!

Heath Ledger's close friend Vincent Fantauzzo painted a portrait of the late actor and father and it's won the People's Choice Award at Australia's Archibald Prize Exhibition. And the painting is absolutely amazing!

A large number of people voted - more than 32,000. A rep for the Art Gallery of NSW, said the Ledger family and Vincent will donate the prize-winning portrait to the gallery.

Mr. Fantauzzo received a $2,500 and $1,000 gift certificate with his award. He issued this statement on his website:

I would like to say thank you to those who have emailed with kind words regarding my recent portrait of Heath Ledger. I feel privileged and inspired to have known him and my thoughts are with his family.

The painting called "Heath," was done at Ledger's family home in Perth shortly before the 28-year-old actor died.

Are your kids Batman fans? Are they crazy about The Joker character? Better get in line if you want a Heath Ledger "The Joker" doll - they're selling like hotcakes!

Toy stores all over New York have line-ups, people waiting to pick up their very own plastic action figure of Heath Ledger as The Joker. The toys are selling out like crazy.

Bob Friedland, a spokesman for Toys 'R' us said, "We are getting these products, all of the Dark Knight action figures, on a regular basis." However, he may be trying to down play the sellout. Stores are apparently running out quickly. An employee for Toys 'R' Us said, "There are none left in the warehouse, either. You will be waiting a while if you want one."

Many other NY stores are still waiting for shipments. The doll retails for $9.99 but there have been some sold on Ebay at much higher prices. One doll reportedly sold for $55 (as a set with an other doll).

I wonder how strange it will be for Heath's daughter Matilda when she gets older, to see a doll of her daddy?

Batman: The Dark Knight is slated for a July 18, 2008 release.

From the looks of this trailer, Heath Ledger worked the role of The Joker to extraordinary lengths - what we see of him in this set of clips from the film rocks. Obviously, the loss of such a man as a father and human being is a great tragedy, but it looks like this film will be a striking reminder that we lost an extraordinary actor.

What is creepier than Marie Osmond's dolls? NOTHING. Well, perhaps a Bindi doll or a Heath Ledger as the Joker doll. Or Danny Bona-douches penis.

Marie was at the NY Toy Show on Monday to, ah, ~~weird people out~~ sell her dolls? People actually PAY MONEY for them? Apparently yes. People stand in long line-ups to get her dolls or have their own previously purchased dolls signed by her. Really? I totally see women in 'mom' jeans and applique sweatshirts patiently waiting their turn. Did I just say that out loud?

Okay, sure, some of Osmond's proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network, which raises money for children's hospitals in North America, so I have to give her credit there. And I do like Marie Osmond - when she's not holding those damn dolls. And the woman is a single mom to 8 kids, and that's got to be hard when you're rich. I'm being mean aren't I?

I should probably just stop now before the 'doll community' turns on me. I'll be back though - I'm just going to run out and get myself a pretty bedazzled sweater.
