Getting a boob job? Tummy tuck? Nose job? Cheek implants? Whatever your pleasure is, now you have an easy way to tell your kids that you're going for surgery and may look different. Trust me - I'm writing this trying not to fall over from laughing too hard.

Surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer from Florida, has written a book, specifically a "kid's book" titled My Beautiful Mommy and it helps you, as a mom, talk to your child about your recent plastic surgery. It's geared towards kids between the ages of 4 and 7 and helps answer those tough questions - like when your six year old asks why your boobs are way bigger and not hanging to your waist anymore. Or why mommy ~~is scary looking~~ doesn't quite look the same.

Newsweek wrote:

"My Beautiful Mommy is aimed at kids ages four to seven and features a plastic surgeon named Dr. Michael (a musclebound superhero type) and a girl whose mother gets a tummy tuck, a nose job and breast implants. Before her surgery the mom explains that she is getting a smaller tummy: 'You see, as I got older, my body stretched and I couldn't fit into my clothes anymore. Dr. Michael is going to help fix that and make me feel better.' Mom comes home looking like a slightly bruised Barbie doll with demure bandages on her nose and around her waist"

Naturally, it has a happy ending: mommy winds up "even more" beautiful than before, and her daughter is thrilled."

Right.

Dr. Salzhauer explains, "I tried to skirt that issue in the text itself. The tummy lends itself to an easy explanation to the children: extra skin and can't fit into your clothes. The breasts might be a stretch for a six-year-old." Hmm.

Mother's Day is coming up - this would make a great gift idea for those women in your life that are about to have plastic surgery or recently had it. Better run out and get your copy before they sell out. Run!!!!!!!

What happens when celebrities go under the knife one too many times? Nothing good and nothing pretty!

Donatella Versace:

The Italian fashion designer looked quite normal back in the 90's but now? Scary with a capital HOLD ME, I'M SCARED. She's obviously had some plumping done in her lips but it also looks like she plumped the rest of her face, as in she looks swollen. I doubt swollen is a look that most celebrities (or anyone in general) aim for. But Donatella has succeeded! Seriously, the woman is 52 but she looks older (could also be a result of her admitted 18-year cocaine habit). Was that her goal? To look like she's been stung by a swarm of bees? I doubt it. Step away from the Botox and fillers Donatella.

Michael Jackson:

What's to say really? He went from a cute up and coming popstar with a nice face and beautiful smile to a man with a face that is virtually unrecognizable from days gone by. And about the only thing that stayed the same on Jackson are his teeth. His obsessive compulsion to radically alter his appearance is weird and has added to his overall creepiness. I mean his nose doesn't even look like a nose at this point and there had been rumors that his honker was literally falling off. Yuck. And who are the plastic surgeons that keep operating on the former King of Pop? It needs to stop - well, not that it'll do any good now. The damage is done!

Melanie Griffith:

Melanie Griffith used to be cute as a button, attractive actress with the bubbly little voice. Her voice is pretty much the same but her looks? Um, hate to break it to you Melanie, but the Botox and/or face lift and lip injections - have added to your age and not really helped you in the "trying to stay youthful looking" quest. Please don't go down the path of Joan Rivers who's face looks pulled and stretched to the max. Stop now while there's still a sliver of hope. Griffith's husband, Antonio Banderas has publicly said of her attempts at false enhancement: "The lust for beauty is a terrible thing. I have forbidden her from ever going to a cosmetic surgeon again. It is something we have agreed to for the sake of our marriage. Whew, the voice of reason!

Priscilla Presley:

Priscilla, Priscilla, Priscilla - you were always such a beauty and I bet you would have aged gracefully without any enhancement. But your "enhancement" has turned into something scary. Perhaps part of it is that the one time married to Elvis, mother of Lisa Marie, had a surgeon who reportedly injected her face with auto mechanic-grade silicone. Can you even imagine? As scary as that is, I think there's more too it though. Her cheeks are chipmunk-like, her face doesn't move (Botox overload?), there's not a line or wrinkle on her and yet she's 62 and her lips are waaaay too puffy. I mean really, she looks beyond artificial. Please, back away from the Botox.

Janice Dickinson:

Janice Dickinson, the self proclaimed "first supermodel" doesn't deny that just about everything about her is "fake." That being said, she too should just embrace what looks (?) she may have left. I mean sure, give plastic surgery a go if that's what makes you happy but know when to call it quits. She's just plain scary. She's reportedly had almost 12 procedures done and I'd say that's about 10 too many. Even her son has asked her to stop, fearing it might ruin her looks. Uh, sweetie, I think it's might be a tad too late for that. For the love of all that is sane, listen to your boy.

Cher:

I love Cher, I really do. I was heartbroken when I missed her last concert here - but I digress. Really though, the many surgeries she's obviously had, are making her look like she's had many surgeries. I'm thinking that the goal of having plastic surgery is too look refreshed, perhaps make you look less tired, give you a slightly more youthful appearance - not try to make you look 25 when you're 60 something. Cher has said of herself, thast she's the "plastic surgery poster girl." She's had her nose done, breast implants and many other procedures to her face/skin. So, that's alot, time to retire going under the knife. Even Jodie Foster has spoken about Cher's multiple surgeries, saying the singer is "fighting a losing battle" against aging. Jodie Foster might be right.

Meg Ryan:

She used to ooze cuteness. Now? Her face barely moves and the trout lips - please - they gotta go! If you weren't born with full lips, trying to get them artificially really doesn't work. I think if Meg stops now, she can get back to a more natural appearance. I mean she looks good without all of that Botox and lip work!

Nicole Kidman:

Anyone can see that Nicole Kidman has gone nuts with Botox. While I don't think she's necessarily had any surgeries as of yet (I could be wrong though), she most definitely has a love affair with getting injected with needles. Perhaps now that she's preggo, she's not had any Botox lately and will see that if she stops, she can get back to her normally pretty, good looks. I mean even at 40, she still looks youthful, so embrace that Nic!

Sylvester Stallone:

Anyone listening? Stop.the.Botox. Stallone's now face just barely resembles his younger face. Sure age plays a part in anyone looking different from 1980 to 2008 - but so does overdoing the plastic surgery and other procedures. Hey Rocky, time to embrace what's left of your looks and be happy.

Jackie Stallone:

Like son, like mother? Or other way around? Either way, she's gone so far over the edge with her looks, I highly doubt she'll ever come back. Sylvester's mom either has too much time on her hands and she gets plastic surgery and Botox to kill time or she truly thinks she looks awesome. Not to sound mean, but ya, she doesn't look awesome. Nuff said.

Remember people, less is more in most cases.

Janice Dickinson: One Happy MILF

Ordinarily, Janice Dickinson looks, basically, like something pretty close to a hot tranny mess. Bit too much Botox, bit too much silicone, bit too much lift-and-tuck, none of whcih keeping anything of any consequence from sagging. But this picture, above? She's looking almost - gasp! - pretty in this picture. Guess that what they say is true: smiling (and, I suppose, jumping and leaping maniacally) really does make a girl look more attractive.

Granted, she also looks like she's been taking waaaay to many uppers, and maybe a bit like she could use some time in a quiet place with nice doctors in nice white coats - and, also, like she could use a better bra - but still. She's happy. And the world just seems a little safer place - if a stranger place - with a happy Janice Dickinson.

Janice Dickinson: "I'd Slap Her Silly!"

Outspoken Janice Dickinson wants to "slap her silly," any guesses as to who's face she'd like to smack?

Britney Spears! Dickinson spoke with Access Hollywood and told Tony Potts just what she thought of the whole situation concerning Brit, Lynne Spears and Dr. Phil.

Janice feels that Lynne should be held responsible. "My opinion on Britney Spears, is Mrs. [Lynne] Spears should be jailed. Britney's mom is responsible for all this stuff going on."

As for Brit herself, Janice said, "I'd slap her silly! I'd slap the living sh*t out of her!" Well now, that's pretty direct. Maybe she's on to something?

She continues, "I would beg Britney just to give it all up. I would say, 'You're rich enough! Give it up and try to focus on the two boys.' I seriously hope that Britney doesn't kill herself. I seriously hope that she doesn't damage herself."

Dickinson also had choice words for Dr. Phil: "I think Dr. Phil is pathetic. Pathetic sensationalism."

Janice, who admits to be a recovering alcoholic says, "I would just beg Britney to try to find a twelve-step program for her that works, because, like [with] myself, it can happen again and again until you finally find it. Thank God I found it."

Dickinson might be a bit on the wacky side, definately outspoken and bold but she does have some valid points. I doubt Britney, at this point, would ever take her advice.

A young Janice Dickinson - yowza!

It's no secret that 53 year old self-proclaimed "America's First Supermodel" Janice DIckinson has had a little nip and tuck.She is now admitting she is addicted to plastic surgery and has spent over $100,000 on it. These quotes made me spit coffee out of my nose this morning though:

"Believe me, I'm a 900-year-old dinosaur and without 14 inches of make-up and 32 pounds of fake weave I wouldn't look the way I do. I want to be the best-looking corpse there is.

"I'm honest about it, I haven't got a problem with it. I borrow bits from everyone. Every six months I fly to Dallas to get Botox and I also get collagen injections. I'm addicted to cosmetic surgery."

Just last week, Janice was on Today talking about how glad she was her daughter isn't into modelling, all the while calling Tyra Banks fat and defending Jennifer Love Hewitt. At least she is honest about herself too.

Tongue in cheek on The Today Show, Janice Dickinson jokingly calls Tyra Banks fat, and says some sensible things about body image, weight and nutrition as well. She's grateful her 13 year old daughter Savannah is "into academics" and "Thank God she doesn't want to be a model."

This is the same woman who spoke the truth of Kevin Federline and Britney Spears in 2006: “I never found him hot at all. But she’s a hick anyway. She needs to get hot again. Stop clomping around in those Malibu flip-flops,” Dickinson told The Book Standard. Dickinson, whose book “Check Please: Mating, Dating, and Extricating” comes out next month, said she’d like to give Spears a makeover. “I would tar and feather her first of all, tell her to dump that [bleeping] hick husband of hers. She needs solid advice, and not from Hicksville.”
