Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica, were recently seen in New York City, picking up their middle son, Julian Kal (5) from school. The family ran into Kelly Ripa while there, who was picking up her son, Joaquin.

The Seinfelds also have daughter Sascha, who turns 8 this week, and son Shepherd, 2.

Have you noticed how absent Jerry Seinfeld is from those godawful Microsoft ads the last month or so? Guess he doesn't have the golden touch, after all.

Seinfeld Says For $10 Million I'll Even Pretend to Love Vista

Jerry Seinfeld, the 54-year-old father of three and star of the infamous Seinfeld sitcom, is getting $10 million to plug Microsoft Windows Vista. Yep, Bill Gates is plunking down $300 million in a big advertising push to start airing on September 4, all in an effort to try and knock down Apple's series of Mac commercials. You know, the awesome spots where Justin Long (of Ed fame) portrays Macs as hip and cool (since they are) and John Hodgman as the inept and boring PCs (since they are). Word on the street is that Microsoft is also trying to woo Will Ferell and Chris Rock for the ads.

Many of my friends are self-proclaimed Mac snobs, but I am a stubborn hold-out for Windows. In my defense, however, I still use Windows XP and refuse to upgrade to Vista because, well, it's a big flaming ball of crap. I know - I've played with it and I'm currently inventing entirely new swear words while trying to fix a friend's computer.

So when I say that Jerry Seinfeld has a hell of a job in front of him, I know that I'm not the only one. Sure, Seinfeld still cracks me up, but can he do for Vista what he did for the "puffy shirt" or Junior Mints or older men dating teenagers? I don't know. He did act as the successful pitchman for American Express in 2004 in "The Adventures of Seinfeld and Superman," but that was different. Most people don't taste bile when they say "American Express."

According to industry insiders, the new ads will revolve around the slogan "Windows, Not Walls," but I think it's a tall order for anyone to make Windows look good. Course, for $10 million, I'd do an ad campaign for heroin. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Jerry Seinfeld Is Lucky To Be Alive!

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is lucky to be alive! The actor survived a serious car wreck in the Hamptons last weekend when the brakes on his vintage Fiat failed. Seinfeld was driving alone at the time on Skimhampton Road in East Hampton - the accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. according to the New York Post.

Police Chief Todd Sarris told the newspaper, "The brakes went bad. He had to pull the emergency brake." Jerry's car was headed toward traffic on Montauk Hightway when he lost control and he was forced to swerve to the right and the car ended up rolling onto the passenger side, and then the roof, before halting a few feet shy of other vehicles at an intersection on the driver's side.

Sarris continues, "His actions probably avoided a serious accident. I think he was a little shaken up, with justification."

Jessica Seinfeld told the Post, "He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened. I was extremely relieved and grateful, and I'm feeling very lucky that nothing happened." She also said he walked away "without a scratch."

I'm sure his wife and three kids are quite relieved that he's okay!

Jerry, always the wiseguy said, "Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do. It's not something I plan to make a habit of." Ha!

... BFFs Tom Cruise and Jerry Seinfeld, who have been spending lots of quality time together in New York lately. They started off by double-dating with their wives for dinner last week, and then Cruise and daughter Suri paid a visit to Seinfeld's garage. (That's what freakin' rich people do, visit each other's garages.)

The new duo have raised suspicions that Cruse is luring Seinfeld into his Scientolofreak web. Let's hope the cat doesn't get the mouse.

Almost a decade after one of my personal favs ended, TV's Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld is sick of hearing, "Where's Kramer?"

Comedien Jerry Seinfeld is still being bombarded from fans, asking him "Where's Kramer?" and he feels it's time to let it go. He admits he's bored with it. He told British chatshow host, Jonathan Ross, "I still get people shouting 'Where's Kramer?' all the time. But how do I know?! He doesn't even exist anymore on a fictional basis." Ha, good one Jerry!

Cosmo Kramer was played by Michael Richards in the show, which aired 1990 to 1998. Yes, I think it's time to move on fans or come up with new material.

Seinfeld, 53, is currently Buzzing around the U.K. promoting his animated movie, Bee Movie.

Seinfeld Hints at New Sitcom

While in Australia ~~continuing to over~~promoting Bee Movie, Seinfeld spoke with ABC's Enough Rope with Andrew Denton, to air tonight, Seinfeld agreed part of him had been quietly writing a show about marriage. Better than nothing, which is what his last sitcom was about.

"There is, 'cos all my friends are married and I always think of all the stuff that we do, you know, I would love to do it in a sitcom," said Seinfeld, who married Jessica Sklar in 1999.

"And I guess if I did another sitcom it would be about marriage. I'd just call it 'Mrs Seinfeld'."

Oh darn, I had high hopes. I mean, if the first sitcom was such a success and based on nothing, than having another sitcom based on something would be interesting and funny too. But then he had to throw Mrs. Seinfeld in there and she isn't exactly well-liked. Unless of course he means his mother, or his grandmother. Anybody but Jessica "I'll smack your food outta your mouth" Seinfeld.

Maybe he should stick to writing about nothing. Like me.

He went on to talk about marriage and kids and how they changed his ife:

"To me, the funny thing about being single, I had married friends and I wouldn't visit them . . . because I thought their life was so pathetically depressing," he said.

"Now that I'm married and I have single friends, I feel I don't really like to be with them now 'cos I find their lives trivial and meaningless. And I think in both cases I was correct."

Jessica Seinfeld Tries To Smack Food Out of The View Co-Host's Mouth

I know you're probably as sick of her as I am, but Jessica Seinfeld appeared on that ~~crap ass show full of clucking hens~~ The View and when asked by Barbara Walters about plagerism of The Sneaky Chef, Jessica went on the defensive and tried to karate chop the food that was being shovelled into Sherri Shepard's maw.

(Seriously watch the video if only to watch Shepard inhale some of that spinach laden muffin crap Seinfeld seems to be promoting. Blech. Has she no shame?)

Jessica blathered on about people trying to cut you down, take away your success by finding the crack or something. Perhaps the book is actually a front to teach people how to hide crack in their kid's food? A smuggle narcotics how-to?

I don't like her very much. She should concentrate more on teaching her kids to stop whining, but sweetheart, you need to lead by example.

Jessica Seinfeld On The Defensive, Again

I'm starting to feel a little bit sorry for Jessica Seinfeld. Only a very little bit - I still think that she's a bit of a spoiled brat who maybe crossed a line or six in not acknowledging the unoriginality (ahem) of her recent best-selling, kid-deceiving cookbook - but still: some. After all, she's taking a bit of beating, and even the Teflon-coated popularity of her husband isn't really shielding the blows. The latest: The New York Times has been asking uncomfortable questions about the precised circumstances of her divorce, eight years ago. Did she or didn't she dump her newlywed husband, Eric Nederlander, just days after their honeymoon? Did she or didn't she immediately take up with Jerry Seinfeld? Isn't it true that she was involved with Seinfeld prior to that brief, ill-fated marriage?

Jessica's been warding off the questions with lame denials ("my marriage was already in trouble before the wedding;" "I met Jerry at a gym weeks later") but nobody seems to be buying it, not least The New York Times, which points out that "Ms. Seinfeld's account contradicts the unfolding of events as described in the news media at the time -- namely, that she left her husband for the comedian -- and which her own statements seemed to confirm."

Poor Jessica. This is how people treat you when you don't bribe them with $21,000 worth of designer shoes. Life just ain't fair.

When Bees Attack! Jerry Seinfeld Gets All Up In Larry King's Hive

Poor Jerry Seinfeld. First his wife is accused of being a plagiarizing carrot-masher, and now Larry King mistakenly asks whether Seinfeld left his hit show or was cancelled. As you'll see, Jerry is apparently a little, uh, stung by this.

Perhaps a bit testy these days because of CookbookGate and also the tepid critical reaction to his Bee Movie, Seinfeld overreacts just a tiiny bit (ya think?) before King desperately cuts to a commercial.

Jerry Seinfeld Thinks It's HIL-arious That His Wife's Been Called A Thief

It's too bad that the show Seinfeld is no longer on the air - Jessica Seinfeld's travails with her family cookbook, "Deceptively Delicious," would make a great sitcom storyline. So says Jerry Seinfeld, who can't believe that his wife has been accused of plagiarising vegetables.

“Hil-arious! Hilarious. Hilarious,” the comedian told EW. “I was saying to her this morning, I’m really regretting that I’m not doing the sitcom right now. 'The Puree Plagiarizer’ is a Seinfeld episode: ‘You stole my mushed-up carrots! I invented mushed-up carrots!' It’s just absolutely a riot to me."

He later went on David Letterman and said that the whole debacle makes a mockery of the very idea of plagiarism. “I love the term ‘plagiarism’ for this little event,” he said. “Because it used to be you had to really take a theme from a major novel, some sort of literary narrative. Now, you’re in your kitchen making brownies, you sneak a little spinach in there, your name’s dragged through the mud.”

Okay, so that's pretty funny. Jerry Seinfeld's a funny guy. But I still suspect that his wife is a bit of a douche who probably knew that there was a book like hers that had already been published but didn't care because, hey, she's Jessica Seinfeld and of course her book is going to sell bigger and so why should she give anyone credit? Nobody sells a book project without checking the market to see what else is out there - and Seinfeld's publisher had received and rejected the first book (“The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids’ Favorite Meals” by Missy Chase Lapine) only months before picking up Seinfeld's project. And in any case, the whole controversy got fired up when Jessica Seinfeld claimed on Oprah that she did, in fact, invent mushed-up carrots. Which, end of the day, is the most ludicrous thing about this so-called controversy: a spoiled socialite who is best known for spending her gazillionaire husband's money on shoes expects us to believe that she just one day, while hovering over a blender, 'came up' with the idea of sneaking pureed vegetables into her kids' food. This, when really, I'd bet good odds that she's not touched a single kitchen appliance since becoming Mrs. Seinfeld. I don't believe it, and I'm pretty gullible. (I'm also pretty lazy, and have to admit that I wouldn't be laboring over blenders if I had a gazillion dollars. I'd hire a blender-jockey, for sure. But I digress.)

So, yeah, the whole thing would make a good Seinfeld episode. But it would totally be a Sue Ellen Mischke episode, and the Jessica-inspired Sue Ellen would send Oprah 20K worth of designer bras to thank her for promoting the book idea that she ripped off of Elaine. Classic.

Jerry Seinfeld on 'Bee Movie,' Life, and Kids

USA Today has a great interview with Jerry Seinfeld, including a photo montage and a sneak peek at the upcoming 'Bee Movie.' It sounds like he's just a big kid at heart:

"I wanted the Play-Doh experience. You open a can of Play-Doh and you dump that turquoise cylinder on a table, and you can do whatever you want. There's no rules," he says. "And the smell, of course — I don't know if that's considered sniffing. If it is, count me in.

"Making an animated movie is playing with toys, except you're a grown-up, and there's millions of dollars at stake."

In regards to home life, Jessica says he cracks the kids up so hard, she thinks they're going to choke. "He makes me laugh endlessly, and he makes our children cackle. He does funny voices, funny faces. Even though my kids have not seen Bee Movie, they're obsessed with the trailers. He'll do funny things with the characters. When he reads stories to them, he does different voices."

He claims his 6 year old daughter is the one with the comedy gene. "All kids like to laugh, but we were in the car the other day and she says, 'Daddy, I really like making people laugh.' She's 6 years old. And I go, 'I know the feeling.' "

Jerry goes on to talk about New York, his wife Jessica, (who just wrote Deceptively Delicious,) and the upcoming Bee Movie. It's definitely an entertaining interview. Enjoy.

Updated! Jessica Seinfeld: Does Oprah Endorse Cheating?

I was just kidding when I compared Jessica Seinfeld to James Frey , but some people aren't laughing- namely Missy Chase Lapine, the woman that published a cookbook called The Sneaky Chef which is just like Seinfeld's Deceptively Delicious, except that it was written first.

Apparently the differences are few and the similarities many- recipes and combinations, even the cover.

Does Jerry know about this? What's next, his Bee Movie was first produced by a fan-site for Honey Nut Cheerios?

And Oprah? What's her role in this?

By the way, Oprah, if you're reading this, I'm working on a book right now that I think you should consider. It's called Rocko and Julie. It's an original story about star-crossed lovers and their family feud. It has swords, poison and light through yonder windows. You'll love it!! Call me.

UPDATE: Jezebel has a great take on Seinfeld and her "defense." I would write about it, but if I copy anything else from them then I really will be endorsed by Oprah.

- Oscar De La Hoya was caught in fishnet stockings, and we have the pics to prove it. Or do we? There were rumours of Photoshop at work!

- Jerry Seinfeld's wife Jessica was on Oprah and released a cookbook that is a hit with parents, but will kids eat cookies with mashed veggies in them?

- Catherine wants to smack Elizabeth Hasslebeck upside the head. I'm right behind you Catherine, I even dug my Doc Martens out of the basement. When this loudmouth takes maternity leave, why don't they just replace her with Ann Coulter, or better yet, Bill Maher?

- J-Lo pulled a publicity stunt that made us all wonder why she bothered. It's not like anyone cares if she's pregnant with twins. The whole secrecy thing was overdone and I'm pretty sure we've all lost interest but her charade was good for a few laughs.

- The fact that Martha Stewart pays $28,000 a MONTH to get her daughter knocked up? Creepy!

- Disney's Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus came clean on pregnancy and street cred.

- Britney Spears has been in our headlines constantly, but her constant leakage has been popular. Check out this hilarious parody video that Sweatpants Mom posted! Oh baby, not that kind of leakage, though she's definitely shown us some of that. No no kids, I mean the songs, the video and most importantly, the UNCUT version. With boobies! Jessica Seinfeld was interviewed by Gwynne Watkins for Babble regarding her new book Deceptively Delicious. The wife of Jerry Seinfeld talks about sneaking food that is good for you into food that tastes good. You know, sneaky shit. Those picky kids need to eat something healthy.

For instance, she puts vegetables in brownies. We used to do that to. Pot is a vegetable, right?

I won't even talk about mushrooms on pizza.
