Tim Allen Talks About His Second Daughter's Birth

When Tim Allen's first daughter Katherine was born, he was a nervous wreck. His second time around (March 28th), with his now 3-week-old daughter Elizabeth, he was cool as a cucumber. According to Tim, his ability to keep himself under control this time helped make his second adventure into fatherhood a "marvelous experience."

“She did all the work but she allowed me to be there, and I was able to physically help her on the back side of it. And her sister was there and a couple of her friends… I was the first one that got to look at [Elizabeth].”

I'm sure that Tim's wife Jane Hajduk Allen appreciated the fact that Tim was able to actually provide some support during labor, rather than have a panic attack or pass out. For some reason, Tim Allen seems like the kind of attention hog that would try to steal the spotlight at his own daughter's birth. I kid.

As for Jane, like other celebrity mothers these days, she's lost almost all of her baby weight after only three weeks. What's the deal? Are the personal trainers that good? Lipo?

“I didn’t feel like I needed to eat more, so I did that plus I worked out and I swam — and the man upstairs, I don’t know, gave me something…but, really, if I had had cravings I would have been eating. I knew I didn’t want to work so hard when she was born, so I thought, ‘Let’s just take it easy, let’s do this right.’”

These kids belong to a famous and powerful couple and they're on their way to Cancun (where I should be). Do you know them?

It's the Schwarzenegger kids: Katherine (18), Christina (16), Patrick (14) and Christopher (10). They're going to Mexico, but don't worry, they'll be back.
