(a) having dad leave home;
(b) seeing mom get arrested and face incarceration, in national news;
(c) watching own son be born, with Sarah
Palin also in room;
(d) dropping out of high school and taking electrician job;
(e) losing fiancée, son, job for reasons that mystify him and may be political;
(f) becoming instantaneously megafamous—Antichrist to some, slab of sweet Arctic man-beef to others—but either way finding self at center of momentous events with zero comprehension or aid after having left home to go on sheep hunt.

Levi says that his relationship with ex-girlfriend and mom to Tripp, Bristol Palin, has become less strained and has grown stronger over the past weeks. Which, is awesome, considering they have to co-parent Tripp - it will make for a much better environment for their baby!

Levi Johnston succumbed to the pressure. What pressure you might ask, as did I?

He gave in and hired a publicist. He needs a publicist? I'm so going to hire one tomorrow.

Apparently he needs a publicist to handle all things Levi, including his need to be famous.

Poor guy. He's fading from the spotlight and he desperately wants to stay in it and is doing whatever he can to maintain his status of celebrity.

Maybe his publicist can help him get into college.

Todd to Bristol: Dump Levi And I'll Buy You A New Car

Sometimes parents just have a bad feeling about one of their children's friends or, in this case boyfriends, that they just can't quite explain.

Maybe that is why Todd Palin was offered Bristol a new car in exchange for her breaking things off with now D-lister and estranged baby daddy Levi Johnston. That's what's being reported anyway, as part of a feature story about Levi in the upcoming edition of GQ. Did Todd's spidey senses tell him something was up?

Off course, it could also have been the fact that the teenage couple was having sex in the governor's house, as has been alleged. In that case, I'd buy my daughter two cars to break up with that dude, maybe three (and I'm not talking Kias here).

As it goes with accidental celebrities, Levi is caught between wanting to wring every bit of cash out of his 15 minutes and wanting to be off of the whole weird trip. Still, things are looking up. Getting featured in a sympathetic story in GQ is never a completely bad thing.

Also, it sounds like his relationship with Bristol is starting to thaw. Apparently, Bristol has started dropping baby Tripp off personally, and they even ~~sext~~ text each other from time to time.

"GQ writer John Jeremiah Sullivan watched them exchange flirty text messages. That led to a warmth between them, and now they're in regular contact."

Will the couple ever give things another try? Getting back together is apparently "not even in" Levi's thoughts right now. Still, it's good to hear that the couple is at least being civil toward one another. That should make sharing custody of Tripp infinitely easier.

Bristol and her baby son, Tripp, are on the new cover of People. Education is on Bristol's mind, even as a teenage single mother. In fact, Bristol gave birth to Tripp and then went back to Wasilla High School to finish the year with a 3.49 GPA!

Mom Governor Sarah Palin says, "I'm so proud of her."

While she considers college, Bristol is busy trying to help with teen pregnancy prevention. "Girls need to imagine and picture their life with a screaming newborn baby," she says. "Then think before they have sex. If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex. Trust me, nobody."

Um, Bristol? Hate to break it to you, darling, but most people don't think you get pregnant by sitting on a toilet seat. Teens are still having sex. Many of them are STUPID teens, true, but knowing that sex produces babies isn't exactly cutting down on the teen sex.

In a recent interview with People, Bristol Palin made it a point to clear up any misconceptions for any high school girls who might be getting overly frisky.

"Girls need to imagine and picture their life with a screaming newborn baby and then think before they have sex," she tells PEOPLE. "Think about the consequences."
"If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex," says Bristol, sitting at her parents' lakeside patio table. "Trust me. Nobody."

BTW, Bristol graces the cover of the latest People in her high school graduation cap and gown. Maybe People was playing up the drama her by asking Bristol how it felt to be left out of her senior year in high school. Even so, I think Bristol might be overstating the case a little here.

I mean, if the news ever got out that sex leads to pregnancy, and pregnancy leads to screaming babies, procreation might cease and humanity as we know it would be lost.

Seriously though, it seems like Since Bristol signed on as an anti-teen pregnancy campaigner, all of the sudden, baby Tripp isn't such a miracle -- he's become part of a cautionary tale. I think that's kind of sad and way to get the message across.

Do you think Bristol is right on with the abstinence thing? Or should she maybe promote safe sex?

Bristol Palin: High School Graduate

Bristol Palin is now officially edumacated. Avoiding one of the greatest pitfalls for teenage mothers, Bristol got her Wasilla High School diploma Saturday.

With the year she's had, finding the motivation to finish up high school had to be a challenge, but Bristol was reportedly all smiles when she walked across the stage at the Wasilla Sports Complex. She was, however, seen mouthing the words "where's my baby" to her family in the crowd just moment before getting her diploma.

Her graduating GPA was a respectable 3.497, which is only "point zero-zero-something" from graduating with honors, according to Bristol.

After reveling in the glory of post graduation parties and whatever else high school kid can find to do in Alaska, Bristol plans to start her search for a college with a two-year business degree program. Then, it's on to a career in real estate. I'm foreseeing a few years of daycare for baby Tripp.

Or, maybe Levi will look after him once his modeling career slows down ... I kid.

Levi Johnston's Mom Says Relations with Palins are Thawing

Levi Johnston's mother, Sherry Johnston, has a big drug trial starting next week. She faces charges of selling OxyContin. And in the meantime, she says that relations between the Johnstons and the Palins are beginning to improve.

"When Bristol came to pick up Tripp this week, she said if we want him more often, all I have to do is call. She said if I want to come to their house, I can come over and see him all the time," says the 42-year-old grandmother. "I am hopeful we'll be able to work together to raise Tripp."

Still, Sherry says she wants to see Tripp more often. "We only see him a few hours a week, but I did get to spend time with him this morning. It tears me apart. Every time I see him he's a different child. Before he wasn't rolling over, now he is. Now he's trying to crawl. I am missing him so much that it tears me up."

Course, Sherry may not see Tripp much longer, depending on how the trial goes next week. She has a number of felony charges filed against her. In her defense, she says she's innocent and got hooked on OxyContin 8 years ago after a hysterectomy. That led to 7 more surgeries.

Hell, I'd probably get hooked on painkillers, too, if that were me. Still, that doesn't explain SELLING the drugs.

This whole Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston thing is getting pretty funny. They are lambasting each other about whatever they can think of and I think they are looking pretty silly.

Bristol is going on about how yes, it's hard to practice abstinence, but really, it's the best choice out there.

Levi says that abstinence is unrealistic. He told "The Early Show", " I don't just think telling young kids, 'you can't have sex' ... it's not going to work ... it's not realistic."

There is absolutely nothing that these two kids could say, that I would ever pass on to my kids. I mean really, how much did you know when you were 17 or 18. Sure we thought we knew everything, but we were sadly mistaken, we knew very little.

These kids have a whole lot of growing up to do and frankly, they are not in any position to tell any kid what they should or should not do.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, would you let them advise your kids, or would you just use them as an example?

Bristol Palin Wants Levi To Be In Baby Tripp's Life (VIDEO)

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston welcomed their son Tripp last December, and although they remained together for a time after his birth, the teen parents just couldn't make it work. There's been much tension between them and both have spoken in interviews about the other - and not favorably.

On Wednesday, May 6, Bristol (and her dad Todd Palin), with baby Tripp, appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today Show. She said despite what her ex-boyfriend Levi is saying, she does want him to be a part of their son's life.

Here are some of the highlights from those interviews via Us:

In dual appearances Wednesday on ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today show, Bristol Palin said she wants ex Levi Johnston to be a part of their 4-month-old son Tripp's life.

Despite Levi's previous claims, Bristol, 18, said on GMA, "I'd love Levi to be a part of his life and I know he will be. Every child needs a father."

Asked a similar question on Today, she said, "I'm not here to talk about my personal life. "I'd love Levi to be part of [Tripp's] life."

Matt Lauer then brought up Levi's recent claims that he is not allowed to be alone with their son.

But Bristol -- who is in NYC to promote her new role as the Candie's Foundation's teen ambassador for a national teen pregnancy campaign -- said, "He's a part of his life, yeah."

Todd Palin, Bristol's father, echoed his daughter's sentiments.

"I know Levi is going to be a part of Tripp's life," he told Lauer. "They're working out a schedule. It's challenging enough being teenagers in this world, let alone throwing a baby into the mix, so I know both of them will love and care for their son together."

In a separate interview on CBS' Early Show, Levi admitted relations have improved.

"I mean, she seemed to open up, and everything, you know, things are getting a little better," he said. "She seems to trust me a little bit more. And, you know, things are going pretty smooth now. So, we'll see what happens, and hopefully, you know, she holds to her word on that."

Asked why he thinks Bristol trusts him more, he said, "I don't know."

But he said he has been trying to be there more for their son.

Said Levi, "I think, you know, things are starting to work itself out pretty slowly but surely."

Who better to raise awareness for teenage pregnancy than the 18-year-old, unwed mother that injected some serious drama into last year's presidential campaign, Bristol Palin?

Heck, it's not like drama over 4-month-old Tripp has died out... but anyway, Levi's tell-all book about sex in the governor's mansion isn't what this post is about.

Bristol Palin is making her own headlines these days, serving as an example for young women of what not to do. No kidding, she's landed a job (I'm assuming it pays money) as a Youth Ambassador for the Candies Foundation. Says Bristol:

“I feel that I could be a living example of the consequences of teen pregnancy. If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment.”

Uh, Bristol, you are a living example of the consequences, and pretty much everyone has heard your story already. Still, for those who want to hear it first hand, Bristol will be speaking at the Candies Foundation's annual Event to Prevent in New York.

I knew this would get nasty before it would get better. Bristol Palin, daughter of Gov. Sarah Palin, and her ex-boyfriend, Levi Johnston, are about to embark on a custody battle for their infant son, Tripp. Levi wants to be a part of his baby's life, but he claims Bristol is making it very difficult to do that - and he's ready to fight for his rights. Bristol is gearing up, too. Poor baby Tripp!

According to a source, Bristol is still trying to control everything and wants Levi out of her life, and Tripp's.

"What Bristol is doing amounts to emotional blackmail. She no longer wants Levi in her life and is threatening to have him cut out of their newborn son Tripp's life."

The source added 18-year-old Bristol is jealous of some of the girls Levi dated - who were also friends of his sister, Mercede's. "Bristol held a grudge against Mercede because some of her friends had dated Levi. The girls meant nothing to Levi, but Bristol wouldn't accept that. The irony is that Bristol stole Levi from her childhood best friend Lanesia Garcia, who dated Levi for three years before Bristol did!"

Levi, his mom Sherry and sister, have been making the talk show rounds, trying to get their side of the story out. They told Larry King they have retained lawyers to help in their quest to be able to see Tripp, now four months old.

The 19-year-old dad admits he's not paid any child support (there's no court-ordered amount in place as of yet), but says he's providing everything for his baby. "I have everything my boy needs back home - diapers, toys, everything."

Bristol and her family are said to be "stunned" that Levi is fighting back publicly.

The insider said, "Bristol constantly threatens him, telling him that if he keeps up his publicity stunt she won't let him see Tripp.

"But in the end, she'll have to listen to whatever a judge decides. Her mother may be governor, but Levi has a right to see his son whether she likes it or not!"

What's Levi Johnston's career strategy -- beyond doing interviews about how he knocked up Sarah Palin's daughter? One of his vague aspirations is apparently to profit from his 15 minutes by becoming a model. So far, it looks like the modeling industry's taking a pass.

According to a CBS Early Show report, Levi's self-proclaimed career prospects go something like this: “He says that he will be an electrician like everyone else in his family, or maybe all this publicity will lead to a modeling or acting gig, which he is open to.”

While I could kinda see Levi doing some modeling work for the Bass Pro Shop catalog, it's hard to imagine him supporting himself and his baby Tripp with his acting skillz.

Of course, when Vanity Fair heard about Levi's opportunistic and quasi-ridiculous plan, they couldn't help themselves. They decided to contact some of top modeling agencies to see if they were interested in working with the infamous baby daddy.

Click Models
“We didn’t reach out to him. I guess he’s interested, but we weren’t,” said Stephanie Grill, director of Click’s men’s board.

DNA Model Management
“No one has reached out to him. He’s a good-looking guy, but not really a model type. No one would see him on the runway. He was ill-at-ease on Tyra Banks and I can’t see that changing drastically,” said Fred Howard of DNA public relations.

Ford Models
“No one in the Men’s Division has reached out. It wasn’t even brought up. I know every time I saw him during the elections, I never thought, ‘He should be a male model.’ It would be doubtful,” said Jesse Simon of the Ford men’s board, in New York.

The battle between the Palin and Johnston families is just heating up! Levi Johnston - ex boyfriend of Bristol Palin - is planning a tell-all about the Palin family and is also on a quest to gain full custody of his baby Tripp.

Johnston, who has been doing many talk shows - including Larry King - is upset that he's being denied alone time with his son, now 4 months, and how Sarah Palin and her family want to control everything. Levi, 19, is allegedly planning a tell-all about what really went on in Palin home.

A source said, "Levi was right there in the middle. He knows what really happened inside the Palin family."

The reason for the book? Levi is anticipating a huge legal fight to gain custody of Tripp, with huge legal bills, and a juicy book might help pay those fees. He also wants to be able to provide for his son. And he wants to set the record straight on things that happened.

The pal added, "If Levi could get a million bucks, it would be worth telling all he really knows."

Levi, however, was fairly tight-lipped - about certain things - when talking to Larry King.

King asked, "Where did sex occur in their house?" Johnston replied, "You know, Larry, that I'm a gentleman, you know. And I don't, you know, kiss and tell. So, you know, I don't think that really - that really matters."

I don't know if Levi is actually a gentleman or if he's staying mum because he wants to dish the details in his book, but regardless, I think Larry King's question was creepy. Seriously, do we really need to know where Levi and Bristol did the deed? Fact is, the teens didn't always use protection, as Levi admitted, Bristol got pregnant and now they're parents. Knowing where in the house they had sex seems pointless and weird. Maybe Larry's suspenders were too tight?

Levi should scrap the tell-all, and he and Bristol need to work together to parent and raise their son. He's the one who will pay the price if there's a huge, nasty custody battle.

I see things getting much worse before they get better between the Palin and Johnston families. First it was Levi Johnston dishing on the Palins,how they treat him and won't allow him to spend alone time with his son Tripp. Then, the Palin family issued a statement regarding Levi's appearance on the Tyra Banks Show. After that, Johnston talked with CBS' The Early Show and apparently the Palins want the last word, because Sarah's father, Chuck Heath, has something to say.

Heath told Us Weekly that Bristol's baby daddy "has not contributed anything" to baby Tripp, now almost 4-months-old.

Bristol's grandfather added, "I don't agree with what he's doing right now. It's not right. He's broke, so he's trying to capitalize on this. I wish he'd take some of this money he's making and buy some diapers with it."

Levi Johnston denies being paid for any interview he's done. Tyra Banks went on record, confirming Johnston (including his sister and mom) were not paid for their appearance on her show.

The Palin/Johnston battle is just beginning. Poor Tripp.

I'm betting Levi Johnston had no idea things would turn out this way. Since his split from Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, the 19-year-old dad has had to fight to spend time with his infant son, Tripp.

Johnston, who has been on different media programs to talk about the state of affairs between himself and ex-girlfriend, Bristol Palin, claims the Palin family has been trying to keep him from seeing his son, Tripp, 3 months. Levi said he always felt like a part of the Palin family, however, that has all changed now.

As well, Levi's mom Sherry, says the Palins are refusing to allow her to see her grandson. She wants to meet with the Palins to work out a custody arrangement.

Sherry said in a perfect world "everything will be reconciled. [I hope] we can get together, if for no other reason, [than] for Tripp. He deserves to know both grandmas and grandpas, and aunts and uncles. And mom and dad."

Levi's mom, who faces six felony counts of possessing and selling prescription OxyContin said, "I had a really rough summer." She said the birth of Tripp "was what kept me going. Just waiting for him."

As she softly cried, Sherry said, "I mean, Bristol and I talked about it a lot. Just like, 'Well, you'll have Tripp soon. And he'll be there for you.'"

Sherry is hoping and waiting to be able to see her grandbaby.

Levi, on a recent appearance of The Tyra Banks Show, said he's allowed to see his son, however, the Palin family won't allow him to take Tripp outside of their home or let him have "alone" time with his baby.

Listen, neither family is perfect, however, I have to side with the Johnston's -or actually, baby Tripp, on this one. That precious child, like Sherry Johnston said, deserves to know both parents and both sets of grandparents. Just because the Palins are more well-known, and perhaps have more money or clout, doesn't mean they should get to control the whole situation.

Levi said he may consider taking Bristol to court to be able to exercise his parental rights and that is probably what he'll have to do in order to be an important part of Tripp's life.

Bristol Palin used to date a boy named Johnny Chandler - actually, she was with him when she hooked up with Levi Johnston, which caused friction between the two school mates. Once Bristol dumped Johnny and went with Levi, it ruined the two teens' friendship.

And now that Bristol and Levi are no longer together, and the fighting between their two families has started (mostly over their baby Tripp), the 18-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, has turned to her ex-boyfriend, Johnny, for comfort.

A friend said, "Johnny feels terrible over what Bristol is going through. He thinks it's hard enough being a new single mom, and on top of it, she has to cope with a breakup that people the world over are talking about."

The source added, "Johnny cares deeply about Bristol, but he's still a little weary of them getting too serious again right now."

Johnny and Levi were once pals, but when Bristol dumped Johnny and hooked up with Levi, their friendship wavered and didn't recover for a very long time.

"Levi and Johnny had a big blowup during their sophomore year in high school when Levi and Bristol hooked up while she was still with Johnny. Bristol finally broke it off with Johnny for Levi, which pretty much ruined Johnny and Levi's friendship.

"Johnny forgave Bristol quickly because he cared for her so much, but it took a long time before he and Levi became tight again."

I'm not sure it's a great idea for Bristol to be dating anyone right now, so soon after her breakup with Levi. The two teen parents are at odds about their infant son and until they resolve their issues about the baby, not much else will fall into place. They need to concentrate on their son!

Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin's grandson, Tripp, was on Monday's Tyra Banks Show and the 19-year-old dad is not happy with media reports of him, or his current situation concerning his baby. He wanted to set the record straight on his relationship the the Palin family, his "alleged" drug use and said he may even sue for custody of his son!

Levi, joined by his mom Sherry and sister Mercede, spoke with Tyra Banks on a number of issues, including his son Tripp (with Bristol Palin).

Here are some highlights of the interview:

Sherry and Mercede Johnston claim they have seen baby Tripp only once a month because Bristol Palin won't allow more than that.

Mercede: There's so much bad being said about my family and I think everyone deserves to know the truth, we are good people and definitely want to be in Tripp's life and it's really hard because it's complicated to be able to see Tripp.

Tyra: To see him now? Why is it complicated?

Mercede: Mostly because Bristol and I don't see eye to eye. And that's mostly because I have a lot of girlfriends, a lot of friends that Levi's previously dated. So that's the main issue going on.

Sherry: You know it's not like we would go over for dinner or anything, but we started being mutual friends through hockey is when everyone started getting together and that's when Levi and Bristol, one of their first dates was on a hockey trip in Fairbanks and everything escalated from there. They started dating and we get the news about the baby and everything is good. And now it just turned to a nightmare.

Levi wanted to set the record straight about what has been said about him, and his family.

Levi: I have seen a lot of stuff, read a lot of things in the newspapers and news and it's time we get our story out there. I have seen a lot of stuff saying I've done steroids and drugs and cheated on Bristol and that kind of thing, and it's not true.

Tyra: What does it feel to read those things about you that are lies?

Levi: It's ridiculous how someone could come up with a lot of things like that. But at the same time it's kind of funny, they ain't got nothing better to do than pick on young kids.

Levi: I think it it was after we had had the baby, things got a lot complicated. We started fighting. We just wouldn't seeing eye to eye with each other anymore and we thought it would be better to be friends and try to work things out this way.

Levi added that he's considering taking Bristol to court - he wants custody of his son.

Levi: I can come see the baby and that kind of thing but [Bristol] won't let me take him anymore.

Tyra: You can't take the baby out of the Palin house?

Levi: Not very often, no. Added, when asked about custody: We haven't gone to court. I think it's probably looking like it. We didn't want it to go that way.

The Palin family issued a statement after they learned of the Johnston family's appearance on the show, and accused them of wanting to "cash in" on the Palin name. Through their rep, said, "We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship."

However, Tyra wanted her viewers to know, her show's producers did not pay Levi, Sherry or Mercede for their time on the show.

Tyra said, "One thing that i want to make very clear to everybody is that the Johnston family is not getting paid to be on The Tyra Show. There is no exchange of money. They came here on their free will and there are journalists that pay for interviews. I am not saying that's the worst thing in the world but what I am saying is that you all are not being paid and you are just here and I think it's so important and I think they deserve a round of applause because everybody is getting paid these days for interviews."

Sarah Palin sure is having a rough time of it lately, hasn't she. She's been all over the news lately and it's not necessarily a good thing.

The latest little tid-bit is that her sister-in-law was arrested for breaking into a house in her home town of Wasilla to steal money, for the second time this week.

Wisely, Sarah's husband Todd Palin declined to comment.

At least it's better than her own kids in the news, you know for bad stuff.

Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin's first grandchild, Tripp, says Sarah knew he and her teenage daughter Bristol, were being intimate while at their home. The 18-year-old dad said, "Moms are pretty smart." Oh yes we are!

Johnston appeared on Monday's The Tyra Banks Show, along with his mom Sherry and his sister, Mercedes. Levi said he and Bristol openly shared a room while in the Palin home (the teen parents are no longer a couple) and figures Sarah had to have known they were having sex.

"I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart." Levi added, he and Bristol practiced safe sex... "most of the time." And, as is evident, "most of the time" doesn't always cut it.

Sherry Johnston added that their family was under a gag order during the presidential campaign. "When you talk to media you say something and they have a twist to make it sound like something totally different."

Levi's sister said, "We were supposed to say that all questions need to be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say no comment."

Bristol and Levi broke up a few weeks ago, and according to Mercedes, the Palin family thinks the Johnston family is "white trash" and therefore the relationship couldn't go forward. However, the Palin family denies that claim. Hopefully, regardless of whether Bristol and Levi remain apart or get back together, they put their baby boy first.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston became teenage parents last December to son Tripp. The couple were engaged to be married this summer, but they've since broke it off - according to sources, Bristol thinks Levi is "white trash."

Levi's sister Mercedes said she believes Bristol and her mother Sarah Palin are the ones to blame for the split. She said, "Levi tries to see Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible. She tells him he can't take the baby to our house because she doesn't want him around 'white trash'."

Mercedes goes on to say that Sarah doesn't have a problem with her daughter referring to the Johnston family as trashy. Well, there was the incident of Levi's mother, Sherry and her arrest and charge of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance (manufacturing or delivering drugs) as well as a fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession. Perhaps they feel uncomfortable with the baby going to their home?

The Palin's deny this, and in a statement from Sarah's rep on behalf of Bristol, said, "Unfortunately, my family has seen many people say and do things to ‘cash in’ on the Palin name. Sometimes that greed clouds good judgment and the truth." The rep added that the Palin family is not trying to stop Levi from seeing his son and his extended family is also allowed to see the baby.

As well, Levi said their split was mutual and he admitted he's not mature enough to even consider marriage at this time. He does, however, want to be a father to Tripp.

Bristol has described Levi as a "hands-on" dad, and said while being a parent is hard, Tripp has brought her much joy and does not regret having him.

Teen parents to baby Tripp, Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, were set to marry this summer, but the engagement is off. The daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has released a statement about their break up.

Palin told Usmagazine through the family's rep, Meghan Stapleton, "It is true that Levi and I are no longer together. However, I am absolutely commited to being the best mom to Tripp Easton."

Bristol added, "As for the tabloid article, there are many inaccuracies contained within it."

Levi said they had ended their engagement "a while ago."

Let's hope Bristol isn't trying to keep Levi from his son and they both think of Tripp and put him first.

So, I wonder if Levi will be having that tattoo removed? His next girlfriend might not appreciate "Bristol" tattood on his finger.

So, do we really wonder why Bristol Palin broke it off with Levi Johnston? It has to be because mom, Sarah Palin, is gearing up to run for the 2012 election.

Now that most of the skeletons are out of her closet, she is cleaning up the rest of her family.

On Tuesday evening, the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee -- operating independent of any candidate or political organization -- held its first meeting to gin up support for the Alaska Governor's White House run.

The meeting was held at the local Dennys restaurant in West Haven, and was attended by hard core republicans.

So if Sarah Palin runs for election in 2012, which means she'll start making the rounds next year, what scandals will come out for the high profile mom?

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's teenage daughter Bristol, has dumped her boyfriend and baby daddy, Levi Johnston! And the teen mom is making it almost impossible for the young father to see their baby boy, Tripp.

Levi's sister, Mercede is telling all exclusively to Star and the picture she paints of life in Wasilla, Alaska is not a pretty one. Bristol, 18, has virtually cut Levi out of the life of their two-month-old son Tripp.

"Levi tries to visit Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible. She tells him he can't take the baby to our house because she doesn't want him around 'white trash'!" Bristol won't even allow him to watch the baby for a few hours -- unless he's babysitting!

The worst part, Mercede continues, is that the former vice presidential candidate supports Bristol's treatment of Levi, 19. "I used to love Sarah," Mercede says sadly. "But I've lost lots of respect for her."

This family sure has a way of staying in the public eye! And hate to break it to Bristol, but Levi has every right to see his baby. These two, even if they're not going to stay together or try to work it out, need to grow up and learn how to co-parent that sweet child.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's oldest daughter, Bristol and her boyfriend Levi Johnston, welcomed their first child, Tripp, on December 27, 2008. Although Bristol can't imagine her life now without her son, she says "everyone should wait 10 years."

Bristol and mom Sarah spoke with Greta Van Susteren from FOX News:

Bristol, 18, would like to become an advocate for preventing teen pregnancy.

"Everyone should wait 10 years," said Bristol. "I hope people learn from my story... It's so much easier if you're married, have a house and career. It's not a situation you want to strive for."

Bristol said that her mom's view on teen abstinence is "not realistic at all."

She added, "It was my choice to have the baby. It doesn't matter what my mom's views are on it. It was my decision."

Bristol said she found it hard telling her parents that she was pregnant. She, boyfriend Levi and her best friend broke the news to Sarah and Todd Palin and said it was "harder than labor."

The teen mom said her boyfriend Levi is a "hands-on dad." She adds the two would love to get married someday.

Sarah Palin appeared later in the interview, carrying baby Tripp. She said of her daughter's pregnancy, "Hey life happens. Not the most ideal situation, certainly you make the most of it."

How is Sarah Palin settling back into her normal life of being a mom and a grandma?

Oh, she's not, well sort of, I guess.

There is already a web page set up for her Political Action Committee. Does this mean that she is gearing up to run for President in 2012?

Isn't that when the Mayan calendar says the world is going to end?

The three months of coverage last year was enough to drive me crazy, I don't know what I'll do if we have to do it for 2 years.

What about her kids? A child needs both parents, but there are things that only a mother can give. If Sarah goes out on the campaign trail how well will she be able to mother her children?
