Milla and Ever played in the park before the deluge of rain that hit Southern California over the weekend.

Milla looks adorable, I bet Ever has just as big of a smile on her face.

Thank goodness they got out in the sun before it disappeared for days. Ever is probably driving Milla crazy by now, it's been days since the park was dry and you know how kids get when they are locked up inside for days at a time.

Were they off to some place exotic?

I love Milla's hat and the fact that she actually dressed nice to fly. Not like the people in the seat next to you, dressed in their pajamas and slippers because they wanted to be comfortable.

Which is great and all, but shouldn't one wait until one has actually had the first baby before laying down plans for the second?

Also, by the time that Milla pops this one, it's entirely possible that entire continents of adoptive babies will have been snapped up by the Jolie-Pitts and the hordes of Jolie-Pitt wannabes who have made their managers put overseas adoption agencies on speed dial, so I hope that she doesn't have her heart set on adopting from, you know, Africa or Southeast Asia. Those babies are more popular in Hollywood than hybrid cars; you have to order in advance. Unless she gets on those waiting lists, Milla might have to actually adopt from a former Eastern bloc country, or - gasp - the Continent.

“I am so huge you guys!” Milla Jovovich said on her website recently. “I’ve gained almost 70 pounds in the last 4 months!” She reportedly currently tips the scales at 193lbs.

I think she's gorgeous. All round and glowy and blissed-out. Although I suppose that the above picture was taken on one of her better days; she's been spotted looking big and mean lately, which seems a bit more par for the course. Big and blissed-out I can't really relate to, but big and mean? I totally get that. That's pregnancy as I understand it. So although I'm glad that she's having her perky moments, it does my heart good to know that she's not always that way, that late pregnancy isn't always all shiny happy sunshine when you're a star, and that celebrities pack on those pounds and get good and cranky about those swolled-up feets as much as the rest of us do.

Or maybe it's the shoes that are causing the face: wearing, in one's third trimester, ugly shoes that provide no orthopedic support is definitely cause for grimacing. Whatever. Lastly, yoga and martial arts classes from birth may not be possible, as baby's schedule will be full up from pooping, eating, sleeping, crying, spitting up and did I mention pooping.

Milla Jovovich, pregnant with her first child, is expecting a girl. Baby's daddy is Jovovich's fiancé, director Paul W.S. Anderson who directed her in Resident Evil. The two first met on the set of the film and they were engaged in March 2003. I never saw the movie, but I remember seeing the trailer with all the vicious dogs and saying to myself, "Now there's a love story."

Jovovich has said that her and Anderson have put the wedding plans on hold until after the baby is born "Because I don't want to do, like, a white-trash wedding with a big belly."
