Britney Spears Gets Parenting Advice From... Guess Who?

Britney Spears, who lost custody of her two sons - Sean Preston and Jayden James - during her 'shaving of the head' days, probably could have used some parenting advice. She's since turned her life around - although, she's still making a few mistakes (hey don't we all?) - and while she doesn't have her boys full-time, she does get to see them on a regular basis. Spears, 27, has been getting parenting tips from one celebrity mom - who do you suppose it is?

Tori Spelling! Seriously! Sure, she probably isn't the person to get dieting tips from (eat a burger Tori!), but I don't think anyone would doubt her mothering skills. Tori is a very hands-on mom - although, her own mother, Candy Spelling, accused her of using her children as "props," but let's not get into that.

Spears reportedly requested an autographed copy of Spelling's new book, Mommywood.

A source said, "Britney's actually a huge fan. She used to be obsessed with watching Beverly Hills, 90210 back in the day. And now she thinks that Tori has such a cute family."

Apparently Tori "was really flattered" that Brit wanted a copy of her book. Hopefully, she reads it!

How Tori Dealt With The Hair Down There During Pregnancy

Though I haven't got a chance to read the literary gem that Tori Spelling's Mommywood promises to be ... it seems a lot more interesting now that I know that it includes Tori's tips for pubic hair grooming during pregnancy.

It's not a problem most people would probably ever think about, but yes, you're ability to groom the hair down there is apparently greatly affected by either a baby bump or a ginormous beer gut. As I see it, you've got three options: invent a belly-bridging shaver thing, just let things down there go au naturale, or enlist some help for a sympathetic friend. From Tori's book:

“I wasn’t prepared for losing sight of my lower region. I’d say, ‘Dean, how’s it looking down there? Do I need to shave?’ But of course I couldn’t shave. So Dean had to do it.”

Obviously, Tori chose option #3. Imagine if the couple's reality show on Oxygen had caught some of that conversation. Pure comedy gold.

I have to guess that this occurred during Tori's pregnancy with Liam, her two-year-old. You'll have to read the book to find out if she came up with a different solution the second time around with Stella.

The Tori & Dean Movie: God Help Us All!

That's right, some producers at Oxygen actually think that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's 3 years of marraige is worthy of not only a reality show, but a made-for-TV movie as well.

Seriously, do people want to watch a romantic comedy based on their marriage? Seems like season three of Home Sweet Hollywood is more than enough Tori and Dean, but who knows?

Is there really enough story to work with? They must plan on getting a lot of mileage out of Dean leaving his wife to be with Tori. And then there's the whole Candy Spelling debacle ... but then what?

Sure, they've had two kids together, Liam and Stella, but they're not really old enough to get into any serious trouble that would make for an interesting movie. Oh wait, this is a made-for-TV movie on Oxygen -- guess the bar isn't set all that high.

I'm guessing that Tori will play herself, but who will they get to play her mother? They're not exactly on the best of terms right now, both blaming each other for their estrangement. I'm going to go ahead and nominate Barbara Walters.

Ladies On 'The View' Try To Make Tori Apologize To Her Mother (Video)

Now that Tori Spelling has released a book about about parenting called Mommywood, the drama surrounding she and her mother Candy's falling out is really ratcheting up a notch. During Tori's appearance on The View yesterday, both Barbara and Joy got all up in up in her bidness about reaching out to mommy (video after the jump).

Whoa, if the ladies on The View can't solve it in the course of a 7 minute interview, it must be a really serious problem.

While they may be right in a lot of ways, it really just looked like Babs and Joy are bullying Tori in order to get some kind of ratings-boosting online reconciliation going, and Tori's just not having any of it.

I've got to say, I'm kinda impressed with the way Tori stuck to her guns -- even when the crew started laying on the guilt trip about how the "feud" was hurting her children Liam and Stella's relationship with their grandmother.

Did they really expect to break Tori down and have a Kumbaya session on the show? I'm kinda thinking that they did. Hopefully, Tori and Candy will one day bury the hatchet, but apparently the hard sell didn't work.

Tori Spelling's book sTori Telling *eye roll* has been on the bestseller list for seven weeks, and the young mother has decided to write another tell-all book. This time, it's about her kids.

Due to be released in April 2009, the new book is already listed on Amazon for pre-order and outlines the births of her children, Liam and Stella, and the trials and tribulations of new motherhood. The title? Mommywood.

Watch your step Dean! One false move and your sex life is as good as sold.
