Sting's Daughter In Intensive Care With Fractured Skull

Sting and Trudie Styler's 18-year-old daughter "Coco" has been in intensive care for four days after taking a hard fall at an LA restaurant.

Eliot Paulina "Coco" Sumner (also a musician) was in LA putting the finishing touches on her first album for Island Records when it happened. Reportedly, she complained about feeling strange while sitting at her table. When she tried to stand, that's when she took a serious dive, hitting her head on a chair.

"The doctors are still running tests. Obviously it’s a serious injury and Coco is under constant surveillance.'

A friend told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Trudie and Sting were obviously besides themselves with worry. It was a blessing that Sting was in the States at the time and was able to get to the hospital so quickly.

‘Coco is still very shaken but she is planning to come back to the UK very soon."

What's perhaps even scarier is that she hadn't been drinking, which would've been my first guess. So, at this point, there's really no telling what caused her to black out.

Trudie hopped the first plane to LA from their home in the UK to be with Coco at the hospital. The whole incident is pretty much a parent's worst nightmare: your young daughter, overseas, seriously injured...

"She’s a real daddy’s girl and very close to Sting. He keeps a close eye on her. When she called to say there had been an accident there was panic all round. He dropped everything he was doing and rushed straight to the hospital."

Friends of Coco say she's recovering well, and plans to finish the album before going back to Britain.

Trudie and Sting have four children together, Mickey, 25, Jake 24, Coco, 18, and Giacomo, 13.

It's A Girl For Mariah Carey! (Or She Hopes)

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have been thinking about becoming parents now that they believe they've found "the one," and although they have been slightly secretive about whether or not they're currently trying to get pregnant - wonder no more. Mariah was spotted purchasing a crib and highchair... in pink!

Mariah Carey wants a little girl. The pop diva was seen splashing out big bucks on furniture, which included a pink crib and highchair from a children's store in San Francisco. She and Nick are set to purchase a new home together (and apparently have a baby together).

The couple are interested in the David Saperstein mansion in exclusive western L.A. neighborhood of Holmby Hills - it's a reported $125 million - and have put an offer on the home.

A source said, "It's 45,000 square feet and looks like a European castle. It's so big, it can't even be called a mansion - it's similar to Buckingham Palace!

"Mariah has asked [interior decorator] Kenneth Bordewick to advise on her new home and has requested an all-pink nursery. It's going to be over the top!" Mariah Carey "over the top"?... ya, that's hard to believe. *Insert sarcasm here*

Mariah and Nick would have some famous neighbors - including Hugh Hefner, and David and Victoria Beckham. Hey... Mariah's kids could have playdates with the Beckham boys!

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon will celebrate their first wedding anniversary in April, and what better gift to each other than a baby? The couple were spotted leaving a Beverly Hills office building, which may (or not) have a fertility clinic, which could mean they were in that fertility clinic (or not), which could mean Mariah is pregnant (or not).

According to sources, Carey, 38, and Cannon, 28, were visiting a pre-natal specialist and they were even sneaky enough to use a decoy limo to throw off the paparazzi, who, uh, ended up spotting them anyway. (Better luck next time)

Mariah has been through pregnancy rumors before and both she and Nick have said they've changed their minds about children. Initially they didn't want any, but realizing that they're soul mates, thought having a baby would be perfect for them.

However, in January, at the Sundance Film Festival, the two told Extra they're not sure about babies. Mariah said, "We don't know!" Nick added, "Yeah, we'll let nature take its course!"

Which translates to, "ya, we're pregnant, but we're not telling you just yet." (or not)

KISS' Paul Stanley is a father again. The singer and his wife, Erin welcomed an 8 lb. baby girl on Jan. 28.

"The KISS Army has a new princess and her name is Sarah Brianna," Stanley tells People magazine. "Erin and I feel truly blessed with the addition of this Star Child into our lives."

Sarah joins brothers Colin Michael, 2, and Evan Shane, 14, who is Stanley's son from his previous marriage.

Congratulations you two! Can't wait to see little Sarah all made up, rocking a leather onesie and metallic silver boots.

Confirmed (Sort Of): Mariah Carey Pregnant

Is she or isn't she? That's the question right? There's been much speculation about Mariah Carey being pregnant - first she was never going to have babies, then she changed her mind about becoming a mother, because she's now with "the one" husband Nick Cannon. And according to sources, the 39-year-old singer is indeed pregnant!

This website is claiming to have reliable sources who say Mariah will deliver a baby this year. She apparently told family and friends at a holiday gathering that she's pregnant, but wanted to keep things "secret" until the end of her first trimester.

And many women, celebrity or not, do that - they want to be relatively sure that the pregnancy is going well before telling everyone.

There are photos of Mariah holding a glass of red wine which may have put an end to the rumors but she supposedly didn't actually drink the wine. However, she was eating oysters - which is a no-no for a preggo. But wait, did anyone actually see her eat the oysters?

I suppose we'll have to watch for the tell-tale baby bump and/or wait for an official announcement from camp Mariah. Until then, let's have fun with speculation!

We're all a bit confused about whether or not Mariah Carey is pregnant with her first child. And although there's been no 'official' confirmation from either Mariah herself or her husband, Nick Cannon, there's been much internet buzz about the status of her womb. The 38-year-old singer has now cancelled her tour dates - why? Maybe because she really is pregnant!

According to NY publication The Daily News, Mariah has scrapped her upcoming tour. A source said, "Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off.

"Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a paycheck this holiday season."

As well, Carey was spotted leaving her LA ob/gyn's office and reportedly showed her entourage a sonogram picture.

Her spokesperson said of the cancelled tour, "it was discussed but not confirmed." And about the pregnancy? "I have not been told she's pregnant."

See? Another clue! The rep hasn't been told she is pregnant, but that could also mean, that the rep hasn't been told but that Mariah really is with child!

Mariah is so totally pregnant. Maybe. Yes! Okay, 50/50 chance that she is or isn't.

Mariah Carey sure is acting pregnant. She was photographed in Mexico holding her belly like pregnant girls do and recently was on Ellen and refused champagne.

Could she really be pregnant? She said that she doesn't drink champagne because it has too many calories, but I'm not buying that. Champagne only has 124 calories or something like that. It definitely has less calories than beer, so she's just being silly.

Ellen went on and on, teasing Mariah about being pregnant and she denied it. However, I still think that she's pregnant. She has said that she wants to be a mother and that Nick will be such a great dad.

Shall we count the days until the official announcement?

Mariah Carey has previously said she wouldn't get pregnant because she'd probably get fat and it could ruin her body. Perhaps she's matured a bit and realizes that, that statement is a bit ridiculous and really not a good reason not to have a child. On a recent holiday to Mexico with her husband Nick Cannon, some suspicious behavior on the 38-year-old singer's part makes it seem like she could be pregnant....

1.) Look at what Mariah is wearing! Seriously, she is over dressed - she never wears that much clothing, even in New York on a chilly January day. She's normally dressed like a, uh, working girl on those same New York streets - perhaps she wants to be modest because...she's pregnant?

2.) She's holding her stomach. Common thing to do, especially for first time moms, mesmerized by the wonderment of the miracle of carrying a baby, especially with the love of their life. Mariah has often spoke of husband Nick, saying he's the one, he's the best thing ever to happen to her, they're soulmates....blah blah. See? She could be pregnant.

3.) While Nick drank a tropical frozen drink (probably with booze in it), Mariah did not drink any kind of tropical frozen drink. Why? Well, because it's best if preggos avoid alcohol, especially in their first trimester. Hello? Possibly pregnant!

4.) Mariah, at one time said she would share her pregnancy news with the world, but in a recent interview said if she were to become pregnant, she would keep the news to herself (and husband) for as long as she could before making an announcement. Maybe they went away to celebrate their news together, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Um, so that didn't quite work out so much, but still - they're celebrating because they're expecting! (Maybe).

5.) Said Carey, "I've changed my mind [about having kids] because I am with The One. I think we would make good parents, and that we'd be able to figure everything out together. People are constantly asking me if I'm pregnant, but I don't like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We'll see."

You'll remember I told you this when they do make their announcement. Sure, I didn't take my medication this morning, but that's besides the point. Let me be the first to congratulate the happy couple! *Wink*

Who Else Is Getting Sued For $400 Billion Dollars?

Massachusetts-based musician Samuel Bartley Steele is suing a popular rock group for allegedly stealing the lyrics to his song "(Man I Really) Love This Team."
Sound familiar to you? He is suing more than the band, he is suing everybody.

Bon Jovi is the band, and the song is " I Love This Town." Is the song worth $400 billion dollars? I don't think that any song is worth $400 billion, unless of course I wrote it, and was raking in all that dough.
In court documents reportedly obtained by the website, Antimusic.com, Steele said, "As intent will be easy to prove, we are seeking the statutorily authorized amount of $100,000 (GBP54,054) per CD sold. Just under 4 million CDs have been sold to date. This totals almost $400 billion."

Other defendants include Jon Bongiovi, Richard Sambora, William Falcone, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers ("ASCAP") Fox Television Networks, Major League Baseball / MLB Productions, A&E /AETV, Bon Jovi, AEG Live, Mark Shimmel Music, Vector Management, Island Records / Island Def Jam Records, Aggressive Music / Sony ATV Tunes, Bon Jovi Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group, Universal Polygram, Pretty Blue Songs, and The Bigger Picture Cinema Co, as well as the owners of every ballpark that the ad at issue was played in, and all of Time Warner's Networks that played the ad in more than 74 countries around the world promoting defendants MLB and Bon Jovi. This list of defendants may grow, since it does not yet include parties responsible for playing the ad on the internet.

Really? $400 billion, isn't that a little excessive? Who do you believe?

Shooter Jennings Changes Ammo

Shooter Jennings and Drea de Matteo welcomed Alabama Gypsyrose, to their family 9 months ago, and Shooter says it's made him a different man.

He wants what we all want, a better world for our kids. He is trying to do his part, he's trying to reflect those desires in the music he's making these days.

He says, "I've got a shorter fuse now because I want my daughter to grow up in a better world. I want people to stand up for themselves and what they believe in, and that's reflected in my music."

That's a nice legacy to leave for his daughter. Positive reinforcement, and the power to make her own decisions is a great gift for any child. Let's hope she always treasures that, and doesn't have realize it in hindsight.

Mariah Carey Says No To Babies

Mariah Carey just lost a bunch of weight, she's looking svelte and sleek. She doesn't want to run the risk of ruining her body by getting pregnant. She's worried about the excess weight she'll gain and may not lose.

A source told The National Enquirer, "Mariah gets teased all the time about when she is going to have a baby - but she just looks at you like you said a dirty word and tells you that with her new figure, and how hard she always needs to work to keep the weight off, one pregnancy and it would be over! Mariah has got a great life - she is not looking for anyone, or anything, to change that. She would play a concert a month to support the world's starving children but a child of her own has never been her dream."

Um, okay, tell us how you really feel.

I for one am thankful she's not planning to have kids, since I haven't been able to stomach her since "Hero" came out. I don't know what it is, and I know that she is hugely popular and well loved just not by me.

I can say, that I do respect the fact that she isn't having a baby for the wrong reasons, i.e. popularity, celebrity, or as an accessory.

Billy Joel And Katie Lee Not Ruling Out Kids

Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee haven't yet ruled out having kids of their own. At least that's what Billy said in an interview with Details magazine. Katie is only 26 so she still has some time to become the person she want to before she starts popping out babies.

"Yeah. We might [have kids]. That’s something between me and her, though...But she’s trying to establish her own identity. She wants to feel that she’s accomplished something in her life. She doesn’t just want to be Billy Joel’s wife and sit around and eat bonbons," said Billy.

Billy already has a daughter ,Alexa 22, with his ex-wife Christie Binkley.

I bet he's glad he dogged the messy divorce bullet.

Chris Martin Wants To Help Miley Cyrus

Is Chris Martin for real? He recently said, “I like Miley Cyrus… I like the TV show."

There is nothing wrong with liking Hannah Montana show but he said that he would even go so far as to help her out with a concert.

Chris said, " I’d do it. Anyone we like or respect, no matter how different they may be, we would play with. She’s doing something quite different… I just think she seems to have a sweet character.”

Well good for him for being so open minded. Stay tuned to ticket master, maybe we'll see a Hannah Montana/Coldplay concert.

Keith Richards DID Snort His Dead Dad's Ashes

Remember awhile back when a story came out that said Keith Richards snorted the ashes of his dead father? And Keith was all, "Dudes! I was totally joking!" and we were all, "Omigod you so did snort your pappy!"

Well, turns out the story was true and Richards did indeed shove a little dad up his hooter (his words, not mine.) He finally fessed up in a new interview with Blender magazine.

“I opened my dad's ashes and some of them blew out over the table, just because of the suction of the lid, you know what I mean? I looked at my dad's ashes down there and — what am I gonna do? Do I desecrate them with a dustbin and broom? So I wet me finger and I shoved a little bit of Dad up me hooter.

"The rest of them I put round an oak tree, which is coming up a treat. And I'm sure he's still blessing me,” Richards says.

I heard the whole thing is comforting for Richards' kids, though. Whenever he sneezes, they feel like grandpa is right there in the room with them.

Could Britney Spears Possibly Be Cheating on Her Drug Tests?

Britney Spears apparently has passed every court ordered drug test thus far, however, there are people popping up out of the woodwork to recount their experiences with her and her alleged drug use.

A musician from LA, Scott Kohler has recently told In Touch magazine, that he witnessed Britney doing cocaine at a party held at her Beverly Hills home on October 19th. This was just two days after she lost custody of her 2 young sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. Hmm, what is she trying to do, compete with Heather Mills for 'Best Mom Evah'? Guess so.

Kohler is quoted as saying, "I watched Britney let a guy do a line of coke off her chest." Again, see? She's classy.

How is Spears passing these drug tests if she's supposedly been seen using drugs? Perhaps someone, is possibly, maybe, kinda, peeing in a cup for her? Makes you wonder.
