Should I Stay Or Should I Go - The Sean Penn Version

Sean Penn and Robin Wright are back on.

My goodness, what is going on in their house? Today is a good day and I think I love you, it's tomorrow I'm not so sure about.

The couple has gone through this before, though the separation lasted a much shorter time this time around. Last time, in 2007, it lasted 4 agonizing, I assume, months.

The difference this time is that Sean filed for custody of his kids and a no spousal support deal.

Seems like that's going around these days.

Natalie Portman Not Dating Sean Penn?

Natalie Portman doesn't usually come out to defend her private life, but did, to emphatically deny that she is not dating Sean Penn.

Does that mean she's not sleeping with him too? They can be two entirely different things you know.

Nope, she's not sleeping with him either. Who started that vicious rumor?

What do you think, can we believe her?

Chazz Palminteri is Successful in what Matters Most

My respect for Chazz Palminteri just went up so many levels. It seems that he feels no amount of personal success can make up for being a lousy father.

Finally, a "star" who knows what life is supposed to be all about.

Yes, you should have a modicum of success for yourself, but your kids should be the first and foremost things in your life.

At least that's my opinion, and Chazz Palminteri feels the same way.

He told OK! Magazine, "In life – and people might disagree with me on this – but I feel if you’re a failure as a father, I think that’s hard to take, If you’re a success in all of your life but you’re a failure as a father, that’s a real big knock on you. Fatherhood has changed me,” he admits. “It’s made me more responsible.”

“It’s not just me I have to worry about. It’s not just me and my wife – it’s these kids that walk around and look at you and go ‘Daddy, what’s up? What’s going on dad? Are you going to pay for my college? Can I have a car? Can I have this? Can I have that?’ You can’t let them down.”

It's refreshing that his priorities are in order. Now if we can just get the rest of humankind to get them in-line and take care of their kids and be better parents, we'll all be good.

And yes, I know there are good parents out there, I'm generalizing.

Sean Penn is Seeing Lindsay Lohan?

What is going on? Have Sean Penn and Lindsay both lost their minds? What am I talking about? I'll tell you what I'm talking about.

The two of them were seen dining together at Nobu. This is the second time they've been spotted together.

Is Sean Penn trying to get advice from her on what not to do while navigating these difficult years for his two teenagers? I can think of no other reason for the pair of them to be together.

Last year Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn called off their divorce, so again, what was he doing with Lindsay?

Ben Stiller Thinks L.A. is Soft

Ben Stiller has a few regrets, but then again too few to mention. However, he does wish that he and his wife had raised their kids in NYC rather than L.A., but not for the reasons you might think.

"Raising them here is different because I was raised in New York City. It's totally different. I grew up in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in the 70s. There were... fires and riots and serial killers. It was great. My kids, its L.A., its sunny and nice. They don't have any excitement."

Um, come to my neighborhood, Ben. Kids here have a bit more excitement, Billy won a ribbon for his hog at the fair, Jane just lost a tooth, and on the corner we have a really cozy meth lab. L.A. is as exciting as you make it!
