Controversy City Continues: Levi Johnston Dishes More About Palins

Levi Johnston, former fiance to Bristol Palin and baby daddy to son Tripp, talked to CBS' The Early Show about his problems with the Palins. He was just on the Tyra Banks Show, where he spilled some controversial details about his and Bristol's life.

Did Levi, now 18, ever live at the Palin's home? "They said I didn't live there," he said. "I 'stayed' there. I was like, 'Okay, whatever you want to call it.' I had all my stuff there, so if you want to call it staying there, that's fine."

"So they're lying," anchor Maggie Rodriguez said. "Yeah," Levi answered.

Ever since Levi and Bristol broke up, he says there's enough tension to cut with a butter knife. "I can go over there whenever I want and see my baby," he says. "But I'm not allowed to take him, and it's not as comfortable going over there anymore with that family sitting down on the couch. It's awkward. I don't know. They just, like, they don't think of me the same way anymore."

Levi went on to say, "I don't wanna go over there every day and sit there when her family's there and try and play with my baby. I want to be able to take him and do what - our own thing with my family."

Levi says that the biggest misconception is "that my family's white trash."

"We're not trying to cash in on their name, you know. I'm just trying to get my side of the story out there. Letting people know who I am. Not what the magazines say I am."

The Associated Press is reporting that Sen. Barack Obama has clinched the Democratic presidential nomination. He becomes the first black candidate to lead a major party into a campaign for the White House.

“Tonight, I can stand before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States,” Obama planned to say in a victory celebration speech. He'll make the speech in St. Paul, Minn., the site of the convention that will nominate his Republican opponent in the fall, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Throughout the day speculation increased that Hilary Clinton could possibly join Obama on the ticket as a running mate. In a call that took place Tuesday between Clinton and members of the New York congressional delegation, Clinton signaled an interest in that prospect, but stopped short of conceding to Obama or dropping out of the race. Clinton has said she would be "open to it" if it would help the party's prospects in November.

Congratulations to Barack Obama! His wife Michelle and his children must be excited and proud today.

Laura Fay Is N.Y. Rep. Vito Fossella's Baby Mama

First Eliot Spitzer, now Vito Fossella - these N.Y. politicians have been making lots of booty calls lately. Staten Island Republican Representative Fossella, who is already facing a drunken driving charge, admitted on Thursday that he had an extramarital affair with former Air Force lieutenant Laura Fay and that the two of them have a 3-year-old daughter together.

Fossella, who was pulled over on May 1 while driving with a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit, faces a mandatory jail sentence if convicted. The arrest had already threatened to end his ten-year career in the House, where he is the only Republican representing New York City.

In a statement Fossella said, "I have had a relationship with Laura Fay, with whom I have a three-year-old daughter. My personal failings and imperfections have caused enormous pain to the people I love and I am truly sorry. ... Over the coming weeks and months, I will to continue to do my job and I will work hard to heal the deep wounds I have caused."

Fossella and his wife Mary Patricia have three children.

Looks like he and Eliot Spitzer will have lots of time on their hands to spend commiserating over bottles of gin.
