Who better to raise awareness for teenage pregnancy than the 18-year-old, unwed mother that injected some serious drama into last year's presidential campaign, Bristol Palin?

Heck, it's not like drama over 4-month-old Tripp has died out... but anyway, Levi's tell-all book about sex in the governor's mansion isn't what this post is about.

Bristol Palin is making her own headlines these days, serving as an example for young women of what not to do. No kidding, she's landed a job (I'm assuming it pays money) as a Youth Ambassador for the Candies Foundation. Says Bristol:

“I feel that I could be a living example of the consequences of teen pregnancy. If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment.”

Uh, Bristol, you are a living example of the consequences, and pretty much everyone has heard your story already. Still, for those who want to hear it first hand, Bristol will be speaking at the Candies Foundation's annual Event to Prevent in New York.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 - Was Jon Given A SportsCar For Another Season?

Jon Gosselin's birthday was April 1 and look what his hard working kids got him, it's a$40,000, two seater sports car, how generous of them.

There is speculation out there that, Jon received the car as a "present" to stay on for another season of TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8". Oh my, Kate and the producers must have been really desperate for the show to go on.

Jon was against continuing the show for another season, but was out voted, or maybe he was just out maneuvered. He and Kate were quoted saying, "we're together".

Hmmm, when was the interview done and when exactly did the car come along?

Why does he need a two-seater? Has he completely lost his identity among Kate and the children? If so, then this is the way to get it back, I guess. A car that screams, look at me, look at me, I am somebody.

Charlize Theron Wants To Get Pregnant - Now or Later

The first time she met Stuart Townsend, Charlize Theron's life was changed.

She told Marie Claire magazine: "Since I've been with Stuart, my vulnerability has become something I'm more comfortable with. I think there's a part of me that is very much a survivor. I don't know if it was in my genes, I don't know what it is. But I guess being young and starting out in a sense of, 'I'm not going to be a wallflower, and I'm not going to be messed with.' That was the only way I knew how to survive at that time. But all that has changed since I've been with Stuart. I don't feel like I'm in survival mode any more. I feel like it's OK, I can breathe, so I'm very grateful to him."

She's always wanted to have kids and she's found the man she wants to have them with. Well, she met him 8 years ago, but now she wants to have babies. The timing of the pregnancy is not known but the couple seems like the type that will just take life as it comes.

If she gets pregnant, she gets pregnant, she'll be alright with it.

Alfie Patten, 13, NOT The Father!

Alfie Patten, the 13-year-old baby-faced boy who was believed to be the father of his 15-year-old girlfriend's child, Maisie, agreed to a paternity test. The results are in... and Alfie is NOT a dad!

Chantelle Stedman claimed she had been a virgin before she and Alfie (then 12) had sex for the first time. She became pregnant and said Alfie was definitely the father since he was the only boy she'd been with. But, after the story broke, other young teen boys came forward to say they had slept with Chantelle. And it was reported that Chantelle's mom only named Alfie as her daughter's baby daddy so she could cash in on the publicity! Aflie's parents convinced him to have a paternity test (which should have been done right from the start of this whole mess) to find out the truth once and for all.

After a DNA test was done, it was determined that Alfie could not be baby Maisie's father.

Patten's mom said, "It had not even crossed Alfie's mind whether Chantelle had not been faithful to him. He's absolutely devastated that these lads say they slept with her."

And Alfie's father said, "He said it was the first time he'd had sex, he didn't know what he was doing or the complications that could come. I'll talk to him again and it'll be the birds and bees talk."

Perhaps Aflie's parents should have had that talk with him before now!

Still no word on who is actually the father of Chantelle's daughter.

Zac and Vanessa - No Pregnancy Anytime Soon

Vanessa Hudgens' mom may want Vanessa and her beau Zac Efron to get married, but Zac Efron's mom, just wants to prevent a pregnancy.

Zac said that his mom saw pictures of him and Vanessa at an adult store and promptly went out and bought him an economy sized box of condoms. That's a pretty blatant hint, I bet Christmas morning was hilarious.

I think momma's more worried about a little Zaquisha joining the family, than a wedding. If a baby is going to happen, it needs to be at the right time, not an unplanned surprise.

Lies For Money! Scam! Alfie Patten,13, Probably NOT The Father!

The 13-year-old boy, Alfie Patten, believed to be Britain's youngest father may be the victim of a scam! It's believed Alfie's girlfriend's mom devised a plan to cash in on all the publicity she knew the story would create!

According to sources, Chantelle Steadman's mother Penny, told the 15-year-old to say that Alfie was the father of her newborn baby Maisie Roxanne - even though he may NOT be the dad.

A friend of the Steadman family, Clive Sim, said Penny told Chantelle to stay quiet about all the other boys she'd been with because "she knew Alfie being the dad makes a better story."

He added, "I think there's a big scam going on here."

There's possibly six or eight boys who could be the father of baby Maisie.

Alfie Patten has agreed to take a paternity test to prove he's the dad. Several media outlets have offered money to broadcast the results - offers as high as $180,000.

Both Chantelle's and Alfie's parents are believed to have already received thousands of dollars, giving interviews, since The Sun broke the story.

Several boys have come forward, including Richard Goodsell, 16, and Tyler Barker, 14, to say they are the father of Maisie.

Chantelle is said to be "distraught" that the public thinks she slept around, and claims she lost her virginity to Alfie.

Alfie is convinced he's the dad and even wore a personalized hoodie (you can see the photo HERE) that read, "I'm the daddy, if not f**k you all I'll still be there." Nice that his parents allowed that.

Excuse me, but what the hell is wrong with these people? If this is true - what kind of low-life mother would use her teen daughter and newborn grandchild to scam the public and try to make money? Sick, just plain sick.

On Tuesday, a High Court judge ruled that no new details can be reported about the case. Judge Mrs. Justice Baron said she was concerned about the "mother and baby being unable to live a normal family life." She added that 13-year-old Alfie should be able to "live his life and return to school in a normal way."

That might be difficult when both teens have parents that are thrusting them into the spotlight.

The 13-year-old British boy, Alfie Patten, who fathered a daughter with his 15-year-old girl friend Chantelle Steadman, actually may NOT be the dad! Several other boys have come forward to say they'd had sex with Chantelle, so Alfie has agreed to a DNA test.

At least three other youths have come forward and claimed they've had sex with Chantelle around the time she would have conceived - and there could be more.

Alfie said, "Other stupid boys are lying, saying bad things, like they have slept with Chantelle too. But I am the only boyfriend she has had and we've been together for two years, so I must be the dad.

"When she found out she was having a baby, I asked her, 'Am I the dad?' and she went, 'Yeah', so I believe her.

"I didn't know about DNA tests before, but mum explained it's when they do a swab in your mouth and it tells you if you're the dad. So, if I have that, they can all shut up. I don't really care what people say. But I don't like them being bad about Chantelle."

Alfie's dad Dennis will support his son's decision to have a DNA test.

Said the older Patten, "A DNA test is the only way to settle this once and for all.

"When Nicola [Alfie's mom] told me Alfie was going to be a dad, I said, 'How do you know it's his?' "I kept asking if she was sure because I thought a boy of his age wasn't capable of conceiving.

"And Alfie looks so much younger than 13. That's the point of all this. He looks a little kid himself and it's so shocking.

"Then I asked if Chantelle could have a termination, but she was too far gone.

"I spoke to Alfie on the phone and he was obviously frightened to death and scared he would get into trouble.

"But he says they had sex once and he must be the dad.

"But then these other lads have come out of the woodwork claiming they have gone with Chantelle too. I am not saying I believe them and I don't want to blacken the girl's reputation, but we have to know for sure - for Alfie, for her and for that baby.

"This is a big enough burden for a 13-year-old lad to cope with, but, if he is having to take responsibility for a child that isn't his, then what will that do to him?"

According to Michelle Barker, her son Tyler, 15, boasted of a one-night stand with Chantelle just about nine months ago - he's claiming he's the father. "I wouldn't like to say who the father is from what I've heard. Alfie's very shy and I've never seen them kissing or cuddling. They're like brother and sister."

Barker's other son Jake, also 15, said, "My brother told me about the time he had sex with Chantelle. He said he could be the dad. You only have to look at pictures of Tyler as a baby to see the similarities."

He added, "She met lots of boys in the park. Alfie should get a DNA test."

As a parent myself, if my young teen son was being named the father, I would have demanded a DNA test first thing! And if it's true about 15-year-old Chantelle sleeping with so many boys, then her parents need to get her into therapy - because she's obviously lacking something if she's not respecting herself enough to say no to these teenage boys.

What a mess - I just hope that baby is cared for properly!

Alfie Patten, the 13-year-old British boy who became a father to a little girl a few days ago (with girlfriend Chantelle Stedman), is not the only one in his family to have a child at such a tender age. His sister had her first baby when she was 13!

Patten's older sister Jade, who is now 19, had her first child at age thirteen. Alfie's half sister Nicole, blames their father Dennis for the situation with her younger brother. Nicole said that their dad ran off with a 19-year-old two years ago, breaking up their family, when Alfie was just 11.

Nicole said, "I blame my dad for Alfie getting Chantelle pregnant. If it wasn't for him, Alfie wouldn't be in this situation. When dad left it tore the family to pieces.

"Alfie's mum [Nicola Patten] took her eyes off the ball - and Alfie looked for comfort somewhere else to take his mind off things." Nicole said her stepmother (Alfie's mom) was devastated when she found out her husband was having an affair with a teenager. The couple had been married for 14 years after Dennis had divorced Nicole's mom.

Seriously, sh*t happens, but it appears that the parents aren't paying attention to what's going on in the lives of their children! Alfie lives with his mom in Sussex, east of London and his father Dennis, who is now separated from his wife, has a total of nine children.

Mr. Patten was reportedly shocked when his son was going to become a parent at age 13, just like older sister Jade. Yes, I think there'd be some shock there, but when parents aren't plugged in, this is what can happen.

Dennis Patten said he was "gobsmacked" when he found out his son would become a dad.

"When I spoke to him he started crying. He said it was the first time he'd had sex, that he didn't know what he was doing and of the complications that could come.

"I will talk to him again and it will be the birds and the bees talk. Some may say it's too late but he needs to understand so there is not another baby." Perhaps Alfie's parents should have had that talk with him long ago!

Added Patten, "It hasn't really dawned on him. He hadn't got a clue of what the baby means and can't explain how he feels."

Reaction of the news hasn't been positive. Former Tory leader lain Duncan Smith said the case is a "tragic example" of their nation's social decline.

Said Smith, "I don't know about these particular families but too many dysfunctional families in Britain today have children growing up where anything goes.

"It exemplifies the point we have been making about broken Britain. It's not being accusative, it's about pointing out the complete collapse in some parts of society of any sense of what's right and wrong."

Alfie and his girlfriend have a long road ahead of them. Hopefully the baby, Maisie Roxanne will be taken care of and have a shot at a decent life.

13 year old Alfie Patten and his 15 year old girlfriend Chantelle brought their baby Roxanne home from the hospital last night.

Alfie said, "It was easier than I thought." Chantelle said that, "It was tough and had left her in a daze."

The couple took turns getting up and feeding Roxanne and were very proud of the fact that they didn't need any help from her mom.

She said, " We didn't need any help from Mum. I didn't really get back to sleep. I just lay there in a daze. It feels better to be at home than it does in hospital. I prefer it now I am at home and it is just us and our family."

The couple insists that they are going to be great parents. They also said that, "The police and social workers came to interview us and they decided that we would make good parents to Maisie. Now we will prove to everyone that we can be, and give her a great future. When Alfie is 16 he can come and live here with me and my family. We don't want to get a flat because we wouldn't have enough money and I want us both to stay in school to make the best future for Maisie."

I can't imagine coming home from the hospital after having a baby, to play on my PlayStation. I was freaked out and tired, trying desperately to get my milk to come in, I was 30.

Here is another Holy Cow! moment of the day. I saw this story last night and waited patiently until this morning, for Alfie to become a celebrity in his own right. The young boy pictured here is actually this baby's father.

This young man, Alfie, is 13 years old and has been a father for 5 days. That's insane!! His girlfriend's name is Chantelle and she is 15.

Alfie has no idea how much diapers cost, barely gets an allowance. He is however, determined to be a good father.

He said that, “I thought it would be good to have a baby. I didn’t think about how we would afford it. I don’t really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me £10.”

When he was asked what he was going to do financially, he asked, "What's financially?"

The baby's name is Maisie Roxanne.

Something tells me that Johnny Depp is a messy lover. Seems like there would be lots of smoke and sweat and in my case, one penis too many. However, the one thing that is certain is that depite whatever odors he may emit, he is clean as a whistle when it comes to safety. Johnny Depp supports safe sex. That's nice to know.

Trojan brand condoms has reportedly offered Johnny Depp 10 million dollars to put his face where his, um, stuff, is. That's like a million dollars for every condom I've ever worn (I wore some twice).

As a fellow dad I applaud Depp's position (ha!) on this issue. I realize the importance of reducing the spread of disease and pregnancy. I don't want my boys going out without a raincoat (still talking about condoms). Of course they'll be married by the time they are allowed to date, so I'll leave it up to their better judgment.

What an honor to have a condom named after you! No, not me - David Beckham! There apparently is a brand of condoms named after soccer star David Beckham and they've taken the Chinese contraceptive market by storm.

The condoms aren't being personally endorsed by Beckham, however the makers of said condoms assure users that they "will score in the bedroom like David does on the pitch." This particular brand now sells more than it's competitors.

But not everyone is happy about the condoms. Chinese fans of the LA Galaxy star, want the them banned.

The Sun quotes one fan as saying, "We do not want Beckham to think the Chinese people are disrespecting him. We love him here."

David's agent Simon Oliveria said, "It's not an official brand."

Hey what's wrong with promoting safe sex? David should embrace his condom fame as should his fans!
