NBA Player Kevin Duckworth Dies at 44

Kevin Duckworth, the former center for the Portland Trail Blazers, died on Monday while on a trip to the Oregon Coast to hold a free basketball clinic. Duckworth, 44, is survived by his fiancée and two young children.

The 7-foot tall player spent 11 seasons in the NBA and helped Portland reach the finals in 1990 and 1992. Duckworth, a two-time All-Star, also played for San Antonio, Washington, Milwaukee and the Los Angeles Clippers.

In a statement, Trail Blazers president Larry Miller said, "Kevin will be remembered by fans as one of the most popular and recognizable players to ever wear the Blazers uniform, but to people who knew him, he'll be remembered as one of the warmest and biggest-hearted."

The cause of death was still undetermined.

Felicity Huffman is Not So Desperate in Maui

This is the week to be in Maui to see some of our favorite celebrity parents.

Felicity Huffman along a few other celebrity parents will be receiving awards at the Maui Film Festival. They will be able to catch a "green" screening at the outdoor SandDance. "For the first time, SandDance will be solar-powered, people will be watching films with energy captured during the day on solar panels." says festival director Barry Rivers

Pierce Brosnan

The erstwhile James Bond goes musical with the upcoming "Mamma Mia!" release. Brosnan received the Maui Film Festival's Maverick Award.

Felicity Huffman

The "Desperate Housewives" star screens her latest film, "Phoebe in Wonderland," in which she plays an inspiring, unconventional drama teacher. Huffman received the Nova Award.

Virginia Madsen

The actress shares the screen with Matthew Broderick and Alan Alda in "Diminished Capacity" this year. She received the festival's Navigator Award.

Dennis Quaid

The actor sees the release of three films this year: "The Express," "Smart People" and "The Vantage." Quaid received the Galaxy Award.

He Points, He Shoots, He Scores: Tony Parker Cheated on Eva Longoria With Alexandra Paressant

With rumors of a pregnancy still surrounding her, Eva Longoria is dealing with some less happy news: That husband Tony Parker cheated on her in September, just two months after their lavish Parisian wedding. French model Alexandra Paressant told X17online that she was a guest at the Longoria-Parker nuptials and that shortly thereafter began secretly seeing the NBA player.

Paressant claims that she visited Parker as recently as October 29 in San Antonia and that he previously told her he didn't want to have children with Longoria. She went on to say that one of the reasons for their affair was Longoria's lack of sexual adventure. "She does not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like [a] certain position and thinks that sperm gives acne."

Longoria's rep declined to comment. Don't we wish Paressant had done the same.
