Michelle Williams and Daughter Matilda Support Their Local Coffee House

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda took a walk in Brooklyn on Saturday, and as with most outings where mothers and daughters are present, coffee was involved. That's how it is for me and my two girls, anyways - it's getting so we can't step out the door without a $10 detour to Starbucks. It makes me long for the good old days, when they'd be satisfied with a juice box I grabbed out of the refrigerator.

Williams is currently filming the indie drama Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling. That oughta pay for a few more mother-daughter coffee outings.

What's that I hear? Wedding bells? Wait... rumors about wedding bells? The word on the street is that Matilda Ledger may have a new daddy soon, and I think I'm buying into the rumors.

“They’re in love and absolutely thrilled with each other,” says a source. “They don’t see why they should wait much longer...

“Spike loves being with Matilda. He’s teaching her to skateboard and to ride a bike,” says a source.

“He never makes Michelle feel like taking care of her is a burden, because he truly thinks of them all as a family."

Apparently, all the signs point to Spike Jonze and Michelle Williams (Heath Ledger's ex-fiance') getting hitched -- and soon -- confirming my suspicions based on the fact that Spike's work was taking a very child-oriented direction.

I can't think of any other good reason that Spike would make a gag trailer for a film entitled Everyone Poops, except that he's anticipating fatherhood -- or a bout with incontinence.

Ever since Spike Jonze's and Michelle Williams took their relationship to the next level, it seems that Spike's work has become more kid-centric.

If you'll remember with me here, Michelle Williams was Heath Ledger's fiancee up until a few months before the actor's tragic death, and Matilda (in the stroller) is Heath's daughter.

The more thing get serious in the relationship, the more Jonze's art appears to be reflecting his new role as the man in Matilda's life. First, Spike adapted the children's book Where the Wild Things Are for the big screen. Now, it appears that he's tackled another children's book: Everyone Poops.

OK, it's not a trailer for a real movie being made, it's kinda one of those self-reflexive spoofs that Jonze is fond of. After watching the trailer though, I wish he would go ahead and make a feature length film out of it. That'd be hilarious!

Do you think Spike is considering becoming a step daddy? At the rate that he and Michelle are going, it seems likely enough.

Michelle Williams to Seek a Better Life Abroad

Michelle Williams has had enough of the fast pace of America and the media frenzy that happens every time she steps out the door with little Matilda, so she's leaving.

Michelle is only 28, but tires of trying to balance working and raising her daughter. She said, " I graduated high school early, I left home early, I started earning a living early, I was successful early, so having a kid early fits in.”

" “I’m tired, but I really do think that raising her is the ultimate creative act. It is difficult trying to balance both things. The whole working-mother thing is a crock of s***. I shouldn’t use that language, but I don’t know if you can have it all. It’s hard to do both things well.”

“I don’t want any more paparazzi outside my door. I want it to get better as my daughter grows up, not worse. If it makes a difference, if doing smaller movies means less of that stuff, then I’ll adjust my life so that we can still have a life in the city and not totally disappear. If not, I think they have laws in France - I’ll go there.”

We may not see as much of her, I hope that she and Matilda can have everything they want, they have been through enough hardship and need nothing else to hinder their lives.

Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda were out walking in Brooklyn yesterday, and it looks like they both know what's important. Matilda has some beautiful flowers - she must know the value of keeping nature alive in an urban setting.

But Michelle and I are definitely on the same page when it comes to priorities. While flowers are pretty and all, no mom could even begin to appreciate any of that beauty without a big cup of coffee.

(Speaking of beauty, Matilda is growing up into such a little cutie, and the spitting image of Heath.)

Michelle Williams and Matilda braved the cold weather of New York City and looked adorable while doing it.

I think Michelle's legs have to be freezing though, her tights look pretty thin, I can see her knees. I look Michelle's boots, they look comfortabl, I think I could get used to comfy boots like that.

Heath Ledger's Insurance Case Closed- Finally

It's been a long, sad year in the life of Matilda Ledger. As time goes on, the pain fades and you are left with your memories, which is a blessing.

The insurance policy Heath took out on his life was for 10 million and of course, the insurance had to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of his death. The company wanted to make sure that Heath didn't commit suicide, which the doctors said with in the first few days but the Insurance Company didn't want to listen.

The attorney for Heath Ledger's estate claimed the insurer was refusing to pay because it wanted to investigate whether Ledger's death was a suicide.

A settlement has now been reached in the situation and will be brought forth before the court next month to finalize the agreement.

I'm not sure why it had to be settled though, because a 10 million dollar life insurance policy is a 10 million dollar policy. Why would they settle? Maybe I'm naive, but I don't understand.

At least it's done now, because no one wants to have to fight the insurance company on a daily basis.

Heath Ledger is Haunting Michelle for Closure

Michelle Williams is having a hard time getting through her grief of her lost love Heath Ledger.

She said that she has seen Heath's ghost twice. She was scared the first time but not the second. She was awakened in the night by sounds of bumps and furniture being moved.

She woke up to see a shadowy figure who she realized was Heath. She saw the apparition for a second time and said that the "ghost" was much more clear.
She said that Heath apologized for not being able to help her raise Matilda.

Hopefully she will able to get some closure and move on with her life. It's so sad to lose someone you love but you have to be able to move on.

Matilda Rose Ledger, daughter of actress Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger turns three today! She's such a cutie and looks so much like her dad. Matilda and Michelle are often seen out on the streets of New York, going for walks, taking trips to the park, or going for a bagel. Williams has decided to take time from work so she can concentrate on her little girl.

Michelle Williams, was looking beautiful at a screening of her new flick Synecdoche, New York in New York City Wednesday night. Michelle, single mom to daughter Matilda, has reportedly been dating film director, Spike Jonze. They've managed to avoid paparazzi thus far and it would seem they've wanted to keep their relationship quiet. But at an after-party for the film, the pair were spotted kissing and acting like love-sick teens.

Although Michelle was not romantically involved with Heath Ledger at the time of his death, she was still devastated at the loss of her former love and father of her child.

But now, it seems as though her heart is mending and she's moving on, finding happiness at last. A source tells People about Michelle and Spike's affection, saying, "He couldn't seem to keep his hands off her. It was very cute." Spike was seen caressing Michelle's back and hugging her waist.

Though neither has confirmed their relationship, it sounds as if they might be heading into something serious.

Good for Michelle - she and Matilda deserve all the happiness in the world.

Like mother, like daughter. Michelle Williams, 28, was out walking in Brooklyn recently and she brought along little (nearly) 3-year-old princess Matilda Ledger. Adorable, spitting image of her father, Heath.

There's only one thing wrong with the story.

They're talking about a different Michelle Williams. The post is talking about Michelle Williams the singer from Destiny's Child, but the pictures and attached gallery are of Michelle Williams the actress.

Hey, it happens.

Says Michelle Williams (the singer), "I really would like twins first so I can knock it right out - have them two and then have one more."
