Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm (Mel C) is showing off her little spice - baby girl Scarlet Starr, who was born on February 22, in London.

About the photo, Mel wrote on her personal website that she hopes "that any media interest will be satisfied and future privacy respected."

Scarlet Starr is the first child for Mel and her boyfriend Thomas Starr. The 35-year-old singer will donate the proceeds from the photo, which is published on the cover of Hello! UK, to charity.

Former Spice Girl "Sporty Spice", Melanie Chisholm or Mel C as she's also known, has welcomed her first child - a baby girl - on Sunday February 22 in London!

She and her partner of six years, Thomas Starr, named their daughter Scarlett Starr, and she arrived at 4:10 p.m., and weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz.

They said she is "beautiful" and "doing fine."

Congrats and can't wait to catch a glimpse of their wee one.

Melanie Chisholm, ex-Spice Girl, is about to burst with joy! Or burst with baby, take your pick. Mel C says she cannot wait to be a mom, and the 35-year-old singer shouldn't have to wait very long. She's expecting to give birth at any time now.

She was Battersea Evolution in London over the weekend to help host the Celebration of the Bee Gees. Melanie says she's not sure if the baby will be a girl or a boy. "I don't know and I don't want to know," she said.

Good attitude. My ex and I had no idea what the sexes of my twins were going to be and we didn't want to know. Course, that meant we had to have 2 boy names and 2 girl names ready to go, but that's okay.

Wonder how Sporty Mel C will be a few weeks after the birth?

Melanie Chisholm aka Mel C aka Sporty Spice is marrying Thomas Starr, the father of the baby in her belly. The couple have been together for six years and I guess there's nothing like a baby on the way to get the marital bells a'chiming.

They've told family and friends to get ready for a winter wedding. The invitations are printed and are being guarded like the Crown Freaking Jewels.

Mel's baby is due after Christmas, which makes her the last Spice Girl to have a baby. This brings the Spice Girls Baby Army to 7. Naturally, all the other Spice Girls will be at the wedding. I think they'll each be bringing their sequined shotguns.

It's official, Melanie Chisholm is pregnant. Sporty was the last of the Spice Girls to start a family as Posh, Ginger, Scary, Baby and Dopey all have children already. Mel C. is, as you might expect, excited.

According to a source, “Mel’s absolutely delighted with the news.”

The father is her boyfriend of six years Thomas Starr.

In between the costume changes, the suggestive dancing and the lip-syncing the Spice Girls took a moment to bring the kids on stage at a recent show in London. It looks like everyone is there except Geri's baby, Bluebell Madonna.

Sporty Spice doesn't have any kids and apparently the other Spices don't let her forget it. Ever.

Dancing With The Stars-Mel B Gets Some Spice-y Lovin'

TV's Dancing With The Stars, saw Mel B doing a great job last night and she got some Spice-y lovin' from her group mates, The Spice Girls.

Scary Spice-Melanie Brown, had some fans cheering her on last night-Baby Spice, Emma Bunton, Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham and Ginger Spice, Gerri Halliwell. I know I had previously said I was hoping that Marie Osmond wins but her performance last night, was, um, lame to say the least. The whole "doll" outfit, was just plain weird. And she looked like a robot. I really think Mel is going to win this baby!

The show airs tonight on ABC at 9/8c, in a two hour finale and as a bonus, Celine Dion is performing. Oh yay.

Spice Spawn Alert! Victoria Beckham is Pregnant

It's Monday, and that means only one thing here at FameCrawler - somebody's pregnant! Signs seem to be pointing to a Posh pregnancy, and the Spice Girl is said to be thinking pink. OK! Magazine is reporting that Victoria Beckham dropped some bucks last week at swanky L.A. baby store Petit Tresor on a few feminine baby items and then returned the next day to gather information for designing a nursery for her Southern California home.

Victoria and husband David Beckham are the parents of three boys - Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and 2-year-old Cruz - and has said recently that she would love to have a daughter. So is Posh preggers? As usual, it appears that calls to her rep have not been returned. Which, in Hollywood means that soon we'll be seeing Victoria wearing enormous tent dresses, carrying her bag in front of her belly and refusing martinis for Perrier.

What is Spicy and Crazy and Flies all Over?

Hollywood kook John Travolta wants to pilot some fancy-ass jet that the Spice Girls are leasing for their upcoming (finally) tour. That's a lot of celebrity parents on that plane.

Travolta is so excited about the idea he may pull his weave out. "It sounds like an amazing plane. I have been flying since 1974 so maybe I could help out. I was always desperate to be a pilot..."

According to Expo Say:

Earlier this week, it was revealed the band - Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - are leasing a Boeing 757 for the duration of their hotly-anticipated tour.

The outside of the jet will be adorned with official Spice Girls reunion artwork, while the interior will boast a creche and a make-up parlor.

The 757 will transport the girls - all of whom are mothers apart from Mel C - their families, management, wardrobe, make-up artists and bodyguards from venue to venue.

A source said: "'Spice Force One' will be a flying palace."

Sounds like the Titanic. I love the unwarranted poke at Mel C. for not being a mom. What's your deal Sporty?

So what do you think? Should they hire Travolta?

Smells to me like Tom Cruise is using his toupeed henchman to work the Beckhams from a different angle- the 'your life is in my hands' angle. I'm not big on that one.

Ginger Spice Has Always Been My Favorite

Here she is with Bluebell Madonna at an airport in France after a clearly wonderful vacation. They both have captivating faces, don't they?

For all of the appeal of Scary Spice and her outstanding shoes (heck, they all have great shoes) and Sporty Spice for the slightly sweaty temptation of forbidden love (I know, I know) Miss Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell, has always been my favorite.

Maybe it's the perfectly streaked ginger hair.

Or her stint on the Turkish version of Let's Make a Deal. Perhaps that she self-identifies as a Feminist. She makes things more interesting. And she makes the already interesting irresistible. If Posh were to bring her on the show, I'm sure it would be picked up by the network. How could it not? Look at this fierce combo:

Okay, the fierce is mainly Posh. Geri is more saucy. All I know is that when she and the ladies are in town, I want to be in that audience!

Mel C., aka Sporty Spice, dishes with The Sun about the new tour, as well as reveals her fears that past eating disorders, which resulted in missed periods and fooled everyone into thinking that she was an athletic lesbian, have messed up her body so much that she can't get knocked up. But now as a "healthy size ten" (cough BULLSH*T cough) she hopes she's back in the running for an unwed pregnancy. Best wishes Mel!
