BREAKING: J-Lo Checks Into Hospital To Deliver Twins!!!

I know, I know: we've cried wolf on this story, like, sixteen thousand times. We keep saying that J-Lo's all set to pop those babies out, and then SHE JUST DOESN'T DO IT. Well, it looks like the waiting might be over: Jennifer Lopez has finally checked into her private maternity suite at the North Shore University Hospital. I guess we can expect to meet the Lo Twins sometime today!

The well-appointed room, which has been kept unoccupied for the diva, is, apparently, now occupied. A source at the hospital reported that in-the-know staffers have been in a bit of a frenzy, running around exclaiming "J-Lo is here!"

(J-Lo fans or just really, really bored hospital staff? You decide.)

J-Lo's rep isn't commenting, but that's to be expected.

We'll keep you posted.

Jennifer Lopez, looking quite pregnant, steps out to New York Fashion Week, alongside Marc Anthony. Any woman who can pull off shoes like that while 9 months pregnant has my respect. (close up after the jump - yowzaa!)

She looks a wee bit tired, but still has great legs and the neckline on her dress was quite flattering. Lopez smiled big for the cameras, probably laughing at us for thinking she was in labor 64 times over the last 2 weeks. (Is it just me or does she look smaller than past months?)

King of Queens star, Leah Rimini, was one of the first people to see Suri Cruise, and now she's been joking that she is going to audition to be J-Lo's babies' Godmother.

People reports: "We're asking for an audition for godparent roles," Remini, 36, joked to People at the premiere after-party for her new comedy Over Her Dead Body Tuesday night. "Um ... so, we're waiting to hear back."

I left my Perodic Table of the Scientology-infected Actors at home, so I can't remember if J-Lo and Skeletor are Scientologists or not, but this email from Leah being OT 10 and Clear Sunny D or whatever? That would be enough for me to say, "No way sister - stay away from our family!"

Jennifer Lopez Fires Manager

J-Lo has split from her manager, Irving Azoff .

Goosip site TMZ reports, "They had a heated phone conversation last week and he sent her a letter of resignation, telling her in blunt terms that she was unprofessional and he was not happy with Marc Anthony being allowed to constantly meddle in her work."

Jen's representative said: "She let him go on Friday (11.01.08) with no drama. We know nothing about a letter."

She's always been rumored to be difficult to work with, but she insists the J-Lo diva personality is not for real:

"J.Lo was just a bit of fun that got really crazy. I've never really been anyone but Jennifer.

"I've been asked all this stuff from using a $700 tub of La Mer face cream a day to my pre-nup 10 commandments. I can't believe that people read that stuff and they think it's true. It's crazy."

Pregnant J-Lo Feels Like a New Person

J-Lo recently told press she feels like a new person now that she's pregnant.

Well she'd better feel like a couple of new people -- reports are stating she is expecting twins: a boy and a girl, in March.

“I can’t tell you how happy I am about the pregnancy. I feel like a different person already. Marc is so excited too.

Being this happy and contented has changed me. I feel so much more creative about music — now if people criticise my music it doesn’t bother me, because it’s not the only thing in my life. I wake up and I don’t groan, thinking of all the things I want to do.

I don’t want to sound corny, but I honestly never thought I could be so happy. I’ve never made any secret of the fact that we want children — this is a special time for us.”

Hopefully nobody tells her what to do once those babies are born!

J-Lo to Retire After Baby?

J-Lo says she plans to retire after her baby is born, despite having a reputation as a workoholic. She told Harper's Bazaar:

“I don’t know and I like that, because my life has been so planned for so many years. Once I did the tour, I really just wanted to shut it down.” She was also asked why she kept her pregnancy under wraps for so long.

She says, “I do realise people want to know about the pregnancy, but this is the first time I’m going through this. I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway.”

J-Lo went on to reveal that husband Marc Anthony was the one to insist on keeping the baby a secret from the media. And it was her mother who kept pressuring for a grandchild. She told Cosmopolitan, “When Marc and I first got married, my mother rang me every day asking if there was any news. I come from a big Latino family where it’s all about having children. So the pressure was huge from the start.”

Marc is Jennifer’s third husband and she said she was keen to make her marriage work, “After I married Marc, I wanted to make my marriage work. ‘JLo the diva’ made a conscious effort to become ‘Jennifer the wife’. And I had to give this love a chance to really grow, without being swamped by the whole celebrity circus.”

Sounds reasonable, to want to make the marriage work of course, but it seems that hubby and mom are telling her what to do a lot of the time. Good luck with the baby Jennifer -- if there's one thing I learned as a mother, it was to not let anyone make me feel guilty or bad about any of my decisions.
