I don't like Honor for a name. I think it sounds like Connor. Or Donner... yes the Donner party, let's not forget about them...!! mmm, does that make you hungry?

The Grateful Dead have a song called Stella Blue. Maybe Tori and/or Dean are closet DeadHeads!?

Honor is a gorgeous name - and it doesn't even come close to falling into the same boat as "Chastity" in my opinion. It sounds nice & strong. And HONOR is something good and decent for everyone (male or female) - I think anyone would say that it's not a "judgy" virtue (like Chastity.) Susie - "Stella D'Oro?" You are hilarious - I love it!

How do you discuss the "virtue names" without mentioning Cher's daughter Chastity?

And come to think of it, didn't Cher have a son named Elijah Blue? Didn't that sound totally wacky in the 70s? And doesn't it seem completely normal now?

When I heard Stella Doreen, all I could think of was the Stella D'Oro cookie company. At least she got a yummy name.

I agree with your comments regarding Honor. I'm completely biased because my middle name is Honora. True, both Honor and Honora are traditional names that are not very popular (at least not since the late 1800's), but that makes them unique and allows them to stand out. Also there's the fact that they ARE actual names. They can be found in baby name books, unlike Pilot Inspecktor or Apple.

'Easy to spell' has a lot going for it. Especially for the kid who has to live with the name you've chosen. Then they dont have to spend their life on the phone with customer service reps repeating this conversation ad nauseum...

'No it Rayne... like the preciptation. Yes. No. With a Y. R, a WHY. Yes its like Rain, but spelled differently. Close. There's an E on the end. YEs. R-A-Y-N-E... you've almost got it. No, there's no 'I' in it. R. A. Y. N. E.'

Kreaytiv' spelling benefits no one and does not make your child more special. Just more frustrated.

I completely agree. Honor is a classy name. Stella is trashy.
