Assuming that a man having a kid by surrogacy means they are gay is very old fashioned. This is becoming a very popular method of fatherhood for men who don't want to be too old when they start a family.

Ricky isn't gay. He broke up with Rebeca de alba after many years and then Debi Nova. Straight men like gays, go with surrogacy. According to his wiki page he has said he is straight.

BUT, no one is ever gonna be interested in a story of twins or anything else from a man who obviously used the gay community for record sales. When living la vida loca came out his gay fans were 1/3rd of his sales. No wonder he let them think he is gay. And no wonder the gay community hate him! he is a bigger user than Madonna.

You know, what... I don't think Ricky cares if the magazines aren't fighting over the pictures of his sons! So much the better since it makes them safer if nobody knows what they look like.

Ricky and Rebecca broke up in October 2004, I think they have both moved on. They may or may not have remained friends. Only they know.

It came as a surprise to everyone that Ricky chose this somewhat controversial method to become a father, but kudos to him for daring to take the step! Finally after having talked about it for so long the day arrived when he became a father!

People ask why did he do this, unless he is gay? Have you ever considered the fact that having lived in the showbiz for so many years Ricky may find it hard to bring new people into his lives. He recorded a song in 1991 called Entre el amor y los halagos. This means between love and flattery an tells a story of how difficult it is to know if the other person wants you because of love or if it is just because of the fame. He may not be living as a hermit as in the song, but Ricky has always kept his circle of friends very close, since it has been his way of leading a somewhat normal life. I hope one day Ricky finds a woman that he trusts and who loves him for who he is and not what he is.

that he was in love with Rebecca de Alba and he

want her to be the mother of his children...so they

finish??? Rebecca doesn't want to be a mother right

now, because she said many times that she love him

so much...so what happen?? Does she agree with the

situation that other women to be the mother of Martin's

Ricky is an incredible human being--who he goes to bed with is none of anybody's business. All of these rumors that surround him are the reckless evil comments that prevent him from opening up to the press. He has been violated by the media so much, privacy completely exploited. One thing is for certain, those babies have one heck of a dad. He is advocate of children's rights, Ricky is all heart, all the time, he is pure, genuine, loving, and I am so very proud of the way he has unified so many countries with his music. I agree with you about one thing Andrew, Ricky will do great. He's been wanting kids for a long time. But about assuming he's gay? Don't presume.

Cassie, I don't want to start a polemic, but what you just stated is only a rumour. There are no evidences that RM is gay. The way he choses to live his life is nobody's business. We should only be happy for him and congratulate him for the twins and for becoming a father!

How can the birth of two little angels be "icky"?? Why is he "hiding" something just b/c he wants his private life kept private.....isn't that his right??
