Even though I live by "Do no harm to any living thing", one has to realize that living in Alaska is a different culture.

We have to be somewhat tolerant of every all different cultures even if WE choose to live differently.

Claire Smith, Im not sure why you think the caribou looks as if it isnt dead, if your assumption is based on the fact that its head is lifted up off the snow, its because shes holding it up by the antlers... Most every hunter poses this way when taking "trophy" pics in order to give the photographer a better view.

Please tell me why this photo op is considered even remotely "special", especially since the poor caribou isn't even dead yet! Give me a break. This is insanely disgusting and running for office for my country? I think NOT.
