It must be a British thing because Brand sure as hell sucked on the VMAs. Show me something where he's actually funny and maybe I'll change my mind. And that GQ thing is the British version of GQ. There's no accounting for taste.

I have to agree 100%. I still have it on my DVR. I was hoping that maybe it was just me who thought the entire show sucked ass. I find if ridiculous to award a band I've NEVER EVEN HEARD of the best new artist award. Sorry, but I would have rather seen that fat bitch Jordin Sparks win over that freak show that came to town. I found the acts atrocious and the comedy horrible and I still haven't even gotten past the first hour. I'm thinking of saving myself the misery!!

I remember when the VMAs were fun and exciting to watch. Last night...I too lost hours of my life to that travesty. Why so low budget now too? I remember the venues used to be huge, full of singers with real talent, and actual diversity when it came to the nominees.

The CROWD didn't even look like they were having a good time.

Thank you Karl...between you and TwoP..I don't have to watch this piece of crap. There is not one performance I want to see. I like Katy Perry and Britney (yeah I like her new album, will you still be my friend) but no - can't sit through the crapfest to watch them

Oh yeah, I totally agree with you. The VMA's were a celebration in suckage. I tuned in for about .05 seconds of nearly incoherent rambling by the freak-of-the-week host (who even really knows who that dude is?) and had to change back to the "House" marathon.
