Terrel. Look up socialism. Look up liberalism. You'll see that Obama is not a socialist, but he does think government should work for society (perhaps a social democracy) instead of the corporations (corporatism, which is what Mussolini said we should call fascism). And you will also see that liberalism is seeking greater freedom.

The Democrats are calling for people to take responsibility, to work hard at good jobs (instead of shipping them abroad), achieving their dreams, and being rewarded for their efforts. They are the party of responsible, working people.

It's the Republicans who are bent out of shape because they don't want others getting wealthy... it means less wealth and power for them. They are the party of the wealthy and greedy elitists (as well as those who don't think for themselves, but are cowed into voting against their best interests through wedge issues, religion and fear).

Liberty (liberalism), progressive ideals and hard work (not faith or competition) are what made this nation great. What wrecked all that was the neoconservatism and cronyism (which rewards who you know, not how hard you work) of the Bush years. Complete backsliding!

If you want to live in a nation where the hard work of the poor and middle class help to enrich only the wealthy, and conservatism reigns, perhaps you should think about Saudi Arabia. Personally, I'd prefer France. But I'm happy staying in the US to help fight this regressive slide to right-wing reactionary ideology.

Say it is so Joe. Way to expose Senator Obama for what he is, a socialist and the most liberal member of congress. If people want to live in a socialist country, let them move to France. Whatever happened to American people taking responsibility for their own lives, working hard to achieve their dream, and being rewarded for their efforts? Faith, hard work and competition are what made this country great and led to us being a world leader.

Joe wouldn't even be in the spotlight if McCain didn't put him there. It's no let up when it comes to McCain STILL talking about Joe. Remember, that Joe did live in Alaska, and have family and friends there. Now, was this all planned (Palin)?

I honestly can't feel sorry for this Joe guy. He should be doing more for the community if he makes that much money instead of complaining. Poor little rich guy. What a jackass. ~lol~ :)
