I think she should quit, she is too good for those arrogant dems on the show. 8 year of Republican bashing from the left, she shows she is much better than them in saying she would support Obama for the good of the country, something I can't even come to say. Not that I think Obama is a terrible person, just that he is a sum of the people who elected him on the left. Having lived in SF and moved to Seattle, I have not ever seen such terrible unbecoming treatment of a president than those on the left. While having made some blunders Bush was hardly SATAN or HITLER. While unpopular, the war in Iraq did remove a man, the world was too afraid to do anything about. A true Hitler that slaughtered his own people and threw them in mass graves by the hundred of thousands. BUT the world could care less about that, WMD aside. Bush did fail during Katrina, and he will always own that one, but instead of coming together to make things right, it was more important for the left to make things worse for political gain. Regarding our economic crisis, funny how the left takes no responsibility for the catalyst of the Fannie Mae Freddie Mac denials when Republicans tried to bring to light the mismanagement at the agency by Franklin Rhaines. Again the dems for political gain take no responsibility for their part in creating this economic problem by forcing banks to make large percentage of their loans to people who could not afford to pay them back, just to be Politically Correct and maybe get some votes along the way. I can’t wait to see if the dems in the name of bipartisanship will look to see how Obama raised so much money under $200 and why he will not open up his books and explain why he turned off the security measures on his donation site, in order to except funds that could not be traced for over-limit contribution or if they were even coming from legal donors.

Yes, I think Elisabeth should leave, she's arrogant, obnoxious, thinks she knows everything. She is nothing but a spoiled brat, how can she believe in McCain or Palin, she needs a good history lesson. I hope Joy smacks her so hard that her empty head never stops shaking. She is so annoying and I don't watch the View any more, because she is very aggravating. I love the other girls though and it's a shame to lose viewers because of one dipstick.

You people needs some tolerance lessons. Personally, I stopped watching the View after they trashed John McCain. It doesn't matter what side of the political aisle you are on, it isn't hard to show respect for another person even if you don't agree. The View hasn't been balanced view-wise in years. And it does't matter who the 'conserative' is, they get trashed anyway. What shocks me is Barbara Walters complete loss of her ruse of being unbiased and being in the center. I've never seen such bad behavior from someone who swears to be a 'news'reporter. And there have been some fairly bad attitudes in reporters this election season. I had such high hopes when they brought on Whoppie. I think it is time for the show to be canned altogether. If Obama wins and does his 'fairness doctrine' thing, that means they would have to put at least two conservatives on the panel and Barbara isn't going to do that. I don't know why they even try to pretend anymore. We all know what they are.

It's not about her politics or her conservative view, I have plenty of dear republican friends/family.

It's the fact she is a total no-talent nothing, who was 4th to last in the 2nd Survivor Outback, lousy designer, failed pre-med and went to art school instead, spoiled rotten and probably never had any truly bad experiences in her 30+ years of life (outside of family illness), throws temper tantrums like her 3 year old, is rude to her viewers, gets far too much attention for ABSOLUTELY NO TALENT, and is in dire need of psychological or psychiatric therapy in some minds. Swore by GWB, now swears by JM and acts like she never supported GWB. Wanna talk about flip-floppers? There ya go.

OMG, like Bill Maher showed last night on Real Time with Bill Maher, anyone can become president, even her in 2012 or 2016 as he put it so succinctly last night at the very end of New Rulez...with her picture as Commander-In-Chief.

Not in my lifetime!!

It's not that she's a conservative that's the problem, it's that she's inarticulate and can only prattle off talking points. She's an embarrassment to true conservatives.

They need to clean house of the entire panel.

She should stay and they should even things out by adding another conservative. I'm sick of hearing Joy or Barbara cut her off or talk over her.

That's why I don't watch the show that often. It is very one sided in my opinion.

Um you describe her as Conservatist, she has never said anything of substance yet! She was even given the opportunity on the show to ask what she wanted to know, she couldn't answer. She is as pathetic at Palin. Moose hunting shouldn't have been her main agenda, how about being a real Mom? She is making every female look stupid, opening her mouth before researching the stupid (fruit fly) remarks she makes.

I agree. She presents a different point of view which is important. I do, however, think she needs to be instructed to be a little more open to what others are saying. It's good that she presents a conservative pov, but she is just so stubborn that it makes it tough to take what she says seriously.

I hope she stays. She's the only conservative on the panel. If you ask me, they need another conservative to even things out. She may not always make the smartest statements, but she makes for good TV.
