I agree with Jim, life is too short. I work and just happen to catch the "view" on my off days, sometimes. I did not start to watch it until a friend of mine told me about the girls' differences of opinion regarding their politics. It is an okay show, but, it is just that, a show. Think people, they need high ratings, what better way than to constantly have controversy? I mean really!

I am a black liberal but I do believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion. Neither one should "shut each other up". Before you open your mouth you should make sure that you know what you are talking about. Elizabeth never seems to fully know what she is talking about, she seems to be just quoting things that someone else has said about whatever situation the ladies are talking about. If asked further about the subject, she goes blank. She does not know. She never seems to "research" her answers or the situation. Joy seems to have listened to both sides, but "loudly" declares her answers, never giving anyone else, (unless she agrees with you)a chance to talk. Like I said before, I am a "hard-core" liberal but I listen to both sides and there have been a couple of things that Obama has said that I did not agree with, but his overall message and what he hopes to do for this country, I agree with a lot more than McCain. I do not feel that McCain cares about the "little people". Whichever candidate wins I would like to see how he is going to solve things financially without raising taxes. Personally, I do not believe this is possible.

Elizabeth is the only one with intelligence when you compare her with Joy. Joy is a traitor to this country and a hard core liberal that uses the show to express her political ideologies which nobody cares to hear. She and Elizabeth with keep clashing and JOY will drive the shows ratings down the toilet as long as she is allowed to keep the ducktape off her mouth that so needs to be there. If Elizabeth leaves, it will be because she is the better person an will pursue better career choices. Joy makes me hurl. What an old bag of hot air.

As Whoopie said,no Elizabeth,no dialogue. Joy is extremely intolerant and doesn't believe in the first amendment unless of course her opinion is expressed. She can't have a debate without making a personal attack about a person's clothes,hair age etc.. TACKY!

It's one thing to have your own political views and try to voice them and argue on their behalf....it's another thing completely to be intolerant of other people and close minded to their feelings and beliefs. Both are guilty although I find Elizabeth more fanatical and ignorant of the two.
