You're right. Hair should not be an issue. Those heels, however, wow! I am jealous of women who can walk in those things holding hands with their children...I have to hold hands with the nearest rail when I wear heels.

Now that his hair is much longer, he looks less like a girl and more like a little rocker dude. For a while he had prettier hair than Celine with wavy curls, etc.

Who cares? As long as the kid cares for the hair they have, it shouldn't be an issue. It's the same policy my parents used for my sister and I. I remember my sister was about five and had to have six inches cut off her hair because she didn't brush it often enough and it got all ratty. After that, she's always been very careful about her hair, and it's still halfway down her back now that she's seventeen.
