Since Britney Spears has never been allowed to "grow up" this makes perfect sense. Her parents have ruled her throughout her fame - why stop now? The mental illness issue is minor - she is not a severely mentally ill person, under the law. In this economic climate - who is making sound financial decisions - Anyone? We have a case of a 27 year old woman who is content acting like she's 15 - no more. It's a shame, she probably will never reach the maturity of an adult.

It happens when a person is found by the court to be unable to make sound financial decisions for themselves- people with mental illness typically have a conservator.

I still feel sorry for her. Her dads using her just as much as everyone else did.
